THE PEOPLE'S BUDDHIST REPUBLIC RELEASES NEW FOREIGN POLICY!

      | SUMĀṂIROTSE PALACE (PALACE OF THE GREAT FLOWERING JASMINE), KUCHA कुशि | The ancient city of Kucha gleams in the soft morning sun. Backed by the intense azure of the sky, the bright orb of light shines over the People's Buddhist Republic like never before. As morning prayers were held in the Sumamirotse Palace, members of the Central Commissariat gathered to enter a session. The night before, the Chief Commissary of the CC's Commissariat of Foreign Relations pushed relentless for the passage of a proposal that would redefine Kroraina into a regional powerhouse - one that would finally allow Kroraina to export medicine, aid, and more importantly - Buddhism, across its borders. Earlier that morning, only miles away, the Saṃnipātkeṃ (Assembly of State Councils - official legislature) passed the proposal. The Supreme Sangha Council, the official judicial and theocratic apparatus of the People's Dharmic Revolutionary Government, vetted and approved the proposal. All foreign relations were open now, and the People's Government was given the go-ahead to begin its effort to reach out to the world in a fresh and more intimate manner. |

      | As war roars around the People's Buddhist Republic, the nation stays in unique tranquility produced only by a profound adherence to the state religion, Kroraini Mahayana Buddhism. The nation may proclaim itself a Buddhist "Socialist" Republic, but is more of an authoritarian capitalist theocracy with democratic centralist elements. One thing is sure, the nation's position on the ancient silk road and its dramatic history as a civilization state, has ensured that its unique heritage will survive. In the midst of hardship, effective governance, economic liberalization, and an unique business mindset has created one of the fastest growing developed economies in the region. The PRB can not only claim its title of development, but now use it to spread its national mantra of "peace, happiness, and Buddhism." Thus with the swift actions of basic governmental procedures - the People's Buddhist Republic has thrown its doors open to all nations wanting and willing to trade. It has asked all nations of the world to accept trade delegations from the People's Buddhist Republics. |

“Redpeppers would be pleased to rekindle relations between Redpeppers and Kroraina. We have stood as allies before, and we wish to stand as allies once again. Therefore, we wish to reestablish an embassy, as well as allow Kroraina to do the same in our capital. Should Kroraina accept, we look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship.

Signed,

Archcouncillor Zachriel.”

RP: Second attempt

After attempts of carpetbombing the jinxies, the Kalrania Quarantine Association, founded for something like this, has reclassified the land of Kadershan from "Utter destruction" to "Slightly habitable." The KQA didn't have any comment when they did this- they just did it.

With this, the Doge Landian government has pumped about 2000 people into the remainders of Kadershan to repopulate the area.

RP: Dushkaria gains a puppet.

Dushkaria will proceed with establishing a Levonian/Dushkarian regime in Kadershan which they have the rights to, after all they Defeated the jinxies all by them selves by using Psycho Destructive Warheads. Kadershan is territory of Dushkaria.

      OFFICIAL FOREIGN AFFAIRS DISPATCH

. . . • The People's Buddhist Republic of Kroraina's Central Commissariat has, upon convening its Commissariat of Foreign Relations and consulting the Central Sangha on Foreign Policy, decided to favorably engage with its old ally, Redpeppers. It has welcomed the embassy in Kucha and has expressed its willingness to establish one the respective capital. Furthermore, the People's Buddhist Republic wishes to meet with a representative of the United Realms to discuss future bilateral relations. In terms of the situations in Kadershan, the People's Buddhist Republic wholly supports the Dushkarian assertion of Kadershan's sovereignty. The PBR's Commissariat of Foreign Relations condemns Doge Landian bombing, illegal settlement, and classification of the territory. The PBR and the Commissariat of State Security has sent representatives to Dushkaria to lay out a framework for an adequate response. • . . .

      KRORAINA INTERVENES & ESTABLISHES PROTECTORATE!

      | SUMĀṂIROTSE PALACE (PALACE OF THE GREAT FLOWERING JASMINE), KUCHA कुशि | Following an intense round of debates in the (Assembly of State Councils) Saṃnipātkeṃ's State International Council. Many of the MSs (Ministers of Saṃnipātkeṃ) from minority heavy martial councils were threatening a late Astarñeśṣeko (English: The Process in which one holds up procedure via the use of loopholes that both uphold the People's Constitution while systematically playing into divisiveness). MSs from the Martial Councils were beginning to make such accusations that the implementation of military rule over their (Muslim) regions was a travesty and they were willing to pass the proposal if military administration in all Muslim territories was ended. As soon as these MSs made such audacious requests, the Kroraini Buddhist Socialist Coalition and the Kroraini Nation formed a supermajority and passed the proposal through the Saṃnipātkeṃ. The Sangha Supreme Council convened the next day in the Palace of the Great Flowering Jasmine, and similarly voted to intervene in Dushkaria, to establish a People's State there. Following ratifiation by all organs of the People's Government, the Central Commissariat officially announced its entrance into the Dushkarian theatre. It has sent an attack force of considerable force to acomplish the goals of: |

      | SUMĀṂIROTSE PALACE (PALACE OF THE GREAT FLOWERING JASMINE), KUCHA कुशि | Following the action over Dushkaria, contacts in Dushkaria and Dwarf land4 have agreed to an unified coalition to intervene in West kowen partly to bring a definitive end to their transgression and to establish a long term peace plan in the nation. The new government of Dushkaria and the People's Buddhist Republic will establish two leftist zones (The Comintern Occupation Zone) stretching from the middle to the far north of the West Kowenian States, while the rest will occupied by Dwarven forces, establishing a capitalist state within the declared People's Republic of West Kowenia All nations have sworn to follow a reconstruction agreement to create a multi-party People's Republic after the undisclosed occupation period is over. The Dwarven occupation zone is a part of the People's Republic, but because of the special conditions and transgression committed by W. The People's Revolutionary Guard

The military plays a massive part in the culture of Kroraina, as well as the everyday lives of its citizens. Since ancient times the nation has prided itself on its martial culture, a tradition which only grew stronger following their conquest by and eventual liberation from the The Mongol, Qing, and Russian Empires. The fledgling state of Kroraina swore to never let themselves be conquered by a foe again, and introduced the National Saviour Act. The People's Buddhist Republic was an ethnolinguistically unique state, whose religion and culture was isolated from the rest of its Buddhist Indo-European allies. In many ways, Besides the Sri Lankans, Kroraina is the last Buddhist Indo-European State. Thus the need to defend itself was paramount over all odds. Furthermore, the nation's ability to draw on its resources to modernize and develop itself is necessary for the continuity of the Kroraini state. Kroraina is unique in the fact that its military is viewed as a cornerstone of its political development. The PRDP requires complete conscription.

Unlike many conscript armies, the soldiers of Kroraina tend to be highly motivated, superbly trained, and well equipped, with most citizens seeing it as an honor rather than an unfortunate necessity. The rate of reenlistment for conscripts who have served their time is very high, at around 58%[3]. The People's National Mandate of Service states that all citizens between the ages of every man and woman serve in the People's Revolutionary Guard for four years, from the age of 18 to 22. During times of war, this is expanded to be from 18 to 24. The only exceptions to the conscription are convicts, the insane, and the mentally disabled. Those who are physically disabled but mentally sound are found a desk job or some other auxiliary role. Following their service the conscripts are given the option to completely retire from the military with a small pension, to return to civilian life with a larger pension in return for 4 years of guaranteed membership in their local militia, or to reenlist in one of the other branches of service.

The People's Revolutionary Guard [PRG] is the nation standing military of the People's Buddhist Republic of Kroraina. Under the nation's Ark Defense Act of 1937, the PRG is capable of expanding to 2.1 million soldiers during a time of defensive war. The PRG is divided into 154 divisions of three different types: mechanized divisions, armored divisions, and infantry divisions. Not all PRG personnel are stationed in divisions, roughly 1,500 personnel are used for substituting at various posts when needed. The headquarters of the PRG is in Kucha, along with the headquarters of the Commissariat of State Security.

      Budget: CLASSIFIED
      Active Personnel: 2,045,250
      Reserve Personnel: 1,586,000
      Divisions: 154

      Motto: "राष्ट्र र एकता" ("Nation and Unity")

The People's Revolutionary Armed Guard, currently totaling some 1,046,000 active personnel and 1,586,000 reserve personnel, is one of the largest in the world and consists of 100% percent of the People's Revolutionary Guard Forces' total manpower. The PRG is divided among the five theater commands: Eastern, Northern, Southern, Central, and Special Administrative Command. In times of crisis, the PRG will be reinforced by numerous reserve and paramilitary units. The PRG has a total of 154 divisions (55 regular, 99 reserves) which are further divided into 3,080 battalions, both armored and infantry The active forces of the Eastern, Northern, Southern, and Central command theaters are 80 percent mechanized while the Special Administrative Command theater is 40 percent mechanized.

The PRG combat doctrine focuses heavily on the use of information technology, electronic and information warfare, and long-range precision strikes. Integrated battlefield information networks have taken precedent throughout the PRG and allow for extensive coordination between the PRG and the other branches of the PRAF. On the operational level, soldiers and officers of the PRG are given a wide range of flexibility which allows them to act accordingly to a situation. Additionally, the PRG works off a system of meritocracy that promotes the most capable personnel. This means all soldiers start on a level playing field and will climb the ranks according to their individual skills in combat.

Doctrines of the Revolutionary Armed Guard
        • A Clausewitzian Premise
The Kroraini state and military elite share the Clausewitzian understanding of war as an extension of state power, and accordingly agree that military force is merely an ends to state interests. It also agrees that environmental factors, as well as military, are potential threats, and has contigency plans in the case in, for example, the collapse of the LinkThermohaline circulation (which would prompt wide-scale climatic change, especially in Europe which would be reduced to Sibera-esque weather conditions) or sea level rising. The Kroraini Armed Forces combat piracy, prepares for conventional war, and makes contigencies for demographic or environmental collapse.

        • Mechanized Forces Doctrine
Highly mechanized and organized around the use of ground-based Linktracked vehicles (as opposed to wheeled), the Kroraini Armed Forces’ goals are oriented towards ground warfare--specifically in the mountains. With huge paramilitary and reserve formations, the active forces are considered to simply be the tip of the spear for whatever military operations may be conducted. Elite ground formations are tracked and have some armored capability, though many regiments are still motorized as per budget concerns.

The Kroraini Army adheres to principles of Link Kesselschlacht, and is an extremely aggressive, offensive military force. Commanders are instructed to always go on the offensive when resources permit. Even on the platoon level, infantry formations are trained to always be on-the-move, winning momentum against the enemy whom they hope to confuse, disorient, and destroy piecemeal through advance maneuvering capability and supporting/covering fire. With such aggressive tactical and strategic doctrine, the importance of artillery is emphasized for its ability to soften and diminish the cohesion of an enemy formation before an assault.

All major offensives are to begin with at least 2 hours of artillery barrage with conventional shells and chemical weapons.

        • Supporting Arms and Air Forces
The Kroraini Army always attacks in tandem with suppressing fire or smoke; every artillery formation has fire infrared smoke munitions, preventing the use of thermal imaging or visible-light optics to track the movement of Kroraini units; as such, the Kroraini Armed Forces will always use such smoke-screens when attacking out in the open, leaving them effectively covered until they emerge from the smoke. Additionally, artillery can be employed to deliver cluster munitions, mines, Linknovichok, Linksoman, and DPICMs, or other unconventional weapons to hamper enemy maneuver or demoralize enemy formations.

The Kroraini Army believes in the application of mass--or Linkforce concentration-- to overwhelm enemy formations. Generally, enemy units are subjected to a massive onslaught of Kroraini elements, artillery fire, and other attacks in concentrated strikes to destabilize and fracture their formations. Designated armored formations then exploit these breaks, destroying the enemy rear, effectively crushing enemy supply and logistical capabilities. The Kroraini Army is a strong believer in the application of artillery forces to destroy enemy armored formations and particularly staunch defensive positions, and cover large scale assaults. The Kroraini Armed Forces has a massive artillery arm, and artillery is highly significant in Kroraini doctrine.

        • Aggressive Reconnaissance
In battle spaces as large and wide as the Thar desert, information and intelligence are key to battlefield mastery and control. Information is almost as crucial in the mountains, where positioning is a matter of life-and-death. Limited resources, however, necessitates that reconnaissance elements of the Kroraini Army have to be able to survive on their own as reinforcement and support might hypothetically be too distant to bring to bear, for at least 24 hours. While artillery is busy shadowing and supporting the main backbones of the assaults--the brigade--there is little room for artillery to act in support of smaller intelligence gathering units.

Kroraini armed reconnaissance units are generally comprised of the best soldiers, trained to hold their own against any formation long enough to relay valuable data to headquarters and information units. They operate in LinkRIF squadrons and are trained to fight mounted, unmounted, and as light infantry through difficult terrain, covering a wide variety of roles. They generally have light tanks and within their ranks and access to liberal air support. Further, in the events that the lines are disrupted and broken, reconnaissance formations are tasked with the role of fighting pitched delaying actions to permit the major bulk of the army to regroup to go on the offensive again.

        • Infiltration Tactics
While the conventional ground forces are expected to be fighting a highly aggressive, symmetrical set-piece battle with armor, artillery, air forces, and IFVs, Kroraini military theorists advocate the insertion of rapid light infantry formations in lightly defended tactical points behind enemy lines to distort the momentum and to destabilize the enemy’s operations as to permit Kroraini offensives to succeed with greater consistency and fewer losses. These operations are based on LinkHutier principles.

The Kroraini Army makes use of large numbers of partisans to force the enemy to under-commit to the frontlines. In every Kroraini city and town, there are several dozen or even hundreds of trained fighters who have been instructed to remain dormant until the bulk of the enemy formation has passed before conducting destabilization and disruptive operations. These are often women and adolescents, further complicating the issue for an enemy on the offensive.

In the grassland or mountainous regions of the nation, it has also been proposed that formations of light infantry should move behind enemy lines during larger scale armor assaults and artillery bombardments as to force the enemy into adopting a brittle, less flexible combat front which can then be destroyed piecemeal by Kroraini formations. Superior leadership, small-unit tactics, and an emphasis on destabilizing the enemy and usurping their center play into the practice of such tactics.

        • Fourth Generation Warfare
Beyond conventional warfare, Kroraini clandestine branch also engages in what it refers to as LinkFourth Generation Warfare. This theory of warfare is intellectually controversial in its premise that, in a radically changing and globalizing world, conventional, symmetrical military forces is not the only option for military action.

Fourth generation warfare, as an applied theory of military power, insists that Kroraini need not be implicated nor even involved in military actions, instead allowing non-state parties to undermine antagonistic regimes. Steps, such as tight controls of society, forging ties with foreign disaffected (and potentially militant) organizations and establishing intelligence and ties with weapons cartels in all regions of the world allows the state to pursue a fourth generation doctrine as seen fit.

        • Application of and Countering of Airpower
The Kroraini Army, in addition to building its own passable air force, has a large arsenal of SAMs with which to deny airspace to enemy formations. While Kroraini planners have acknowledged that there is no “impenetrable” air defense, and that its own air defenses are technologically limited, they maintain that they can make the enemy’s assaults costly and deny enemy air forces maneuver and airspace. This is done by the creation and maintenance of faux-headquarters and supply depots near the front and the rear. The strategic consideration is, then, that enemy will always be forced to risk the loss of air forces, with no certainty of hitting anything of tactical value. The state also employs LinkVHF radars to counter stealth technology.

The Kroraini Army also has MEADs attached at the brigade level, and LinkSHORADs at the battalion level; in this way, every formation of the Kroraini Army is prepared to deal with the air threat at any moment. LORADs are attached on the operational level and are considered to be a strategic asset, deployed to cover crucial offensives or prevent the use of airpower to strike vulnerable or exposed regions in the strategic and tactical rear.

The Kroraini Army sees airpower as a tool with three purposes: (1) for attacking sensitive targets that would otherwise be untargetable, (2)Linkinterdiction missions and breakthroughs (referring to LinkLind's theory of using airpower to create breakthrough points for light infantry infiltration); as such, long-ranged air forces are used primarily to target enemy supply depots, headquarters, industrial positions, and other installations, but focus their priority on targeting enemy airfields and airbases in hopes of diminishing enemy air capability in the opening stages of a war.

        • Sea Denial
Despite aggressive international posturing, the Kroraini Navy does not have the resources or necessity to launch overseas invasions. Instead, the Kroraini Navy has focused on a doctrine of naval reconnaissance and area-denial, preventing the enemy unopposed use of the seas around Kroraini through the use of shore-based weapons and littoral attack craft, using low-cost platforms to destroy expensive enemy platforms. With a combination of a formidable blue-water fleet, this makes Kroraini waters dangerous for a foe. This doctrine allows Kroraini to nonetheless control the vital sea lanes in the Indian ocean. Furthermore, it allows Kroraini to mount a credible defense at a low cost.

The Kroraini navy relies on Linkquasi-ballistic anti-ship missiles "Carrier Killers", Linkfast attack craft, and LinkAIP diesel electric submarines (submarines with virtually no audible trace) as short-ranged counters to enemy blue-water fleets. Submarines, shore-based LinkOTH (deployed ala LinkJORN) radar and aircraft, and satellites all contribute to an Linkintegrated reconnaissance, in which multiple sources of intelligence and data contribute to painting a clearer and more precise image of the battlefield space. When threats are determined and isolated, submarines, missiles, or other weapons might be used to eliminate these threats.

The Kroraini Navy also relies on mining waters, given its vast, unguarded coastline, which prevents enemy ships from approaching too closely to shore. Mine warfare plays a big part of Kroraini naval doctrine, stressing the use of mines to prevent the enemy from moving through certain waters. Kroraini can deploy mines to any location in its waters with 24 hours.

        • Recruitment and Indoctrination
One of the few widely accepted and respected careers paths within the Kroraini State is that of a soldier. Given the nation’s long history of oppression, foreign dominance and a fierce civil war, the Kroraini people, the Sikhs and Nepalese in particular, have developed a sense of vicious nationalism and a desire to defend their motherland from external threat.

The training truly begins in elementary school, where ideals of national service and patriotism are concepts that are taught from an early age. Like many Asian education systems, all children are also forced to participate in grueling physical education, which extends into high school, and later, into mandatory reserve training for young, fit men and women. Most Kroraini citizens are relatively fit and conform to the state’s ideal of a “perfect soldier.” Both men and women are permitted and generally tend to be fit for service.

The Kroraini Army pays ₹10,000 (around $150) monthly in wages per active soldier, with considerably more for officers and specialists. Depending on rank, time of service and other risk factors involved, these wages can fluctuate and rise. Pension for veterans, adjusted each year by CPI for inflation, is around ₹4,000.

        • Training and Manpower
The Kroraini army has 2.2 million active personnel, and 1,500,000 reserve personnel.

Basic training consists of twelve week basic training cycles for most soldiers, though special forces can train for up two years, in high intensity military camps emphasizing teamwork, obedience, and endurance. All training is brutal and involves extreme physical duress and the strengthening of camaraderie. This serves to strengthen the resolve and burning anger within their souls, and creates an elite fighting force of tightly-bound, vicious fanatics. The average Service term is two years.

Officers generally hail from one of Kroraina's twelve Military Academies, Military Science Programs at their respective universities, or from military academies of allied states. Officers can also rise through merit and attend 12 weeks of officer training school.

Most Kroraini formations have combat veterans. Many have participated in international peacekeeping coalitions and fighting against domestic extremists. These veterans add a cutting edge to the Kroraini military and add a dynamic of experience to already-present devotion and fanaticism.
Recruits in special forces or other elite units are desensitized to murder and blood by performing training exercises with live targets; generally, convicts, prisoners of war, serial rapists, murderers, communist agitators, and terrorists. In the final week of combat training, they are instructed to shoot and kill several of these individuals with rifles, bayonets and other weapons systems. This training also doubles as capital punishment.

Our country would like to contact the Krorainian government in order to establish relations, that will benefit our people. We also want to discuss the Kowenian Question, whose actions of enslaving of foreign citizens is compulsive and worthy of condemnation.

      Northern new solingarch

      RP: Time to say goodbye...
Missiles are launched from the giant underground fortresses of Northern New Solingarch, screaming towards Kadershan. These missiles are unlike any previous generation, as these contain Photospores, a plant-like spore that reproduces rapidly. About 500 of these missiles are launched, racing towards various locations in Kadershan.
Along with these missiles, the Naval and Aero forces have arrived near Kadershan and are now bombarding the coastal region, and Aerorecon forces are venturing further in.
This is only the first wave of attacks. Surrender now, or we will burn you to ashes.
      This is your only warning.

(EDIT: These attacks were and are targeted SPECIFICALLY against the jinxies. Any and all non-jinxie populace is not affected by these attacks whatsoever. The Photospores are non-harmful to anything else but the jinxies, and are degraded after around 5 days[rp] They are also able to be cooked and eaten as food.)

      Kowenian states

      OORP
Hey y'all, I just wanted to make this post again to explain the confusing state that is Kowen (what is commonly referred to as the Kowenian states.)

In a nutshell: A large nation that has been divided by the political and religious views of it's citizens, so much so that the nation of Kowen often fractures into multiple states (take a look at China's history.)

Really just this video on loop, that's Kowen's history:
      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zv5-SD9U1Y

In a longer answer: Kowen is (or was) one of the largest nations in Kalrania population wise (over 14.6 billion, combining the population of the four main states) that has gone through a history of unification and seperation of violent wars that usually followed by brutal surpressions of the ruling regime, despite it's violent history Kowen had stayed out of the international spotlight intentionally for most of it's existence, leading the nation to be severely lacking behind on the technology curve of most of the international community. Kowen's longest and bloodiest civil war (deemed 'The Great Kowenian Civil War' by the Kowenians) is what brought Kowen in the international community, finally reaching out for trade and diplomatic reasons. Although the nation is split, many are determined to reunify the country under their own flag, leading to pretty much non-stop conflict in Kowen eventually climaxing when larger states clashed for dominance in the region. This division among the Kowenian people has been exploited by some foreigners, while others seek to unify the country under a friendly ideology or through peaceful means. Will they ever be succesful? Who knows.

      Accounts:
      Kowenian states
The placeholder for the map for the nation of Kowen, contains all of the following accounts listed below.
      North kowen
Originally part of the Kowenian Commune, a communist state that controlled the Northeastern section of Kowen, North Kowen had been divided and given to Archron empire who then decided to install a democratic regime in the area.
      East kowen
Annexed by South kowen in the war that ended with the demise of the Kowenian Commune.
      South kowen
An authoritarian, nationalist (not to be confused with fascist) dictatorship that arose from a coup d'état, South Kowen was invaded by the Kowenian Commune in an attempt to unify the two states but actually went on the offensive and emerged as the victor of the conflict due to support from Whicistaion and Dwarf land4, in return for the aid South Kowen willingly became a protectorate of Whicistaion.
      West kowen
Originally a fascist dictatorship, West Kowen had suprised everyone when it peacefully dissolved into a democratic republic. The democratic republic was short lived though, with fanatics of both sides of the political spectrum rising up in the country and beginning to seize territory for their side, currently bringing it into a civil war.
      Central state of kowen
An absolute monarchist state with some of the most politically apathetic citizens of Kowen, Central Kowen was created by forces of Rumanian States with the exiled South Kowenian monarch (see South Kowen description) after the coup. Central State of Kowen remains a protectorate of Rumania, and interacts very little with it's neighboring Kowenian States.
      Nakatoro
A puppet city-state located on the coast that was given to Schwypia for their involvement in the war in Kowen that saw the demise of the Kowenian Commune. Currently, Nakatoro has undergone a coup d'état by communists from the Kowenian Commune, Schwypian forces are expected to arrive in Nakatoro to deal with the insurrectionists soon.
      Incheon city
A Kowenian state on the smaller side, given to Woleve Atraland for their actions in the war that saw the demise of the Kowenian Commune. A bunch of citizens of Incheon however call for the establishment of a monarchial state, to replace the current colony status of Woleve Atralanda, which is overseen by a Atralandian governor.

If you have any more questions or need more clarity, contact me on discord or mention Kowenian states on the RMB and I'll see it sooner or later.

P.S. There are false accounts going around claiming to be mine, but the only official ones have been listed above. If it is not one of the listed accounts above, then it is not official RP wise.

Thank you for your time to read this post,

      Regards,

      Roleplay & Technology Rules

All nations participating in the regional role play must adhere to these rules.

      Background & Getting Started

Welcome to THTHI! Our roleplay is centered around our planet, Kalrania! In order to hop in, you must request a map spot. Contact The Atomic Schism or Northern new solingarch via telegram or discord, they will get your territory set up. This is explained in detail in the dispatch below.

      page=dispatch/id=1496501

Now here are some facts about Kalrania.

7 IRL Days = 1 RP Year. LinkClick here for the Current RP Date.

Kalrania has a diameter of 19113 Kilometers. (1.5x Earth's Diameter)

      Expected Conduct

No spamming, flaming, name calling, or baiting.

RP posts are the equivalent of your nation speaking, keep the posts official and mature.

RP Posts should avoid explicit references to real-life entities. We are on Kalrania, not Earth.

Nations may set their RP population to any number equal to, or lower than their NS population. Nations may not set their RP population to any number greater than their NS population.

When roleplaying, it is courteous to obtain prior consent before interacting with another roleplayer. RP Moderation may require prior consent be obtained in certain roleplay situations.

      God-Modding

No God-modding, all RP actions must be carried out with time for nations to react to your posts. For example; assassinating another nations' leader is fine, but you need their permission first. Legions of tanks and airplanes should not descend upon your enemies without warning. Post something that signals your intent.

      Other Examples of God-modding include

Saying what happens to others. "I just killed 500 of your troops!"

Refusing to take losses or lose. Ever. "Oh, well, my soldiers had personal forcefields so none of them were actually hurt. "
(This is Godmodding, because the situation will degenerate into a petty squabble over who hit who. RP Intelligently.)

Irresponsible/Unfair Tech Use Tech should be used to enhance the roleplay, it should not detract from anyone's enjoyment. No seal-clubbing. Follow Technology Rules (Explained Below.)

Excessive Army Size. Self-Explanatory. Avoid throwing millions upon millions of soldiers around as if they were small ants- soldiers are people. Troop counts must not exceed your nations' troop limit, which is explained below.

Very Fast Military Units. Kalrania is a big place. Troops take time (multiple posts) travelling anywhere. Forces cannot appear out of thin air, or "instapop" out to where an opponent is.

      Fluffing

      Fluffing is not allowed in the RMB RP, some forms may include;

      • Troop Fluffing - The use of insane, immensely large troop numbers without also RP'ing the implications of such numbers on your own nation's economy, workforce, logistics, etc. (If you want to use big, multi-million man armies, you are also going to have to deal with big problems that come with that.)

      • Money Fluffing - The use or spending of ridiculous amounts of your national currency without exploring the economic RP implications of such an action. (Yes, I also want to spend 3 trillion moneymarks on super-projects, but such an action comes with consequences.)

      • Stealth Fluffing - Stealthy units are harder to detect, they are not invisible. Utilizing a force made up entirely of stealth units makes them neither invisible, nor cost effective. Using stealth units as a means to render your forces invisible is both Stealth Fluffing as well as Godmodding.

      • Tech/Magic Fluffing - Technology or magic that is legal under the Technology Rules, but still allocates an absurd or unfair advantage to your nation is Tech/Magic Fluffing. If your technology or magic allows you to, among other things, ignore any damage or incoming fire from enemy forces it is both Tech/Magic Fluffing and Godmodding.

      • Alliance Fluffing - Claiming to have an alliance with any nation(s), without having proper RP Posts to back it up. Alliances, Defensive Pacts, Etc. must have a charter document, and must be listed as an official alliance. Nations may join only ONE (1) Military/Defensive alliance at a time. Additionally, nations cannot utilize the forces of other alliance/union members unless a clearly-defined force has been explicitly placed under their command.

      Post Formatting

All RP posts must be styled, with "RP" bold at the top, followed by the title of your post, which should indicate what the post is about. All RP Posts should be done in-character (as your nation). When in RP, you are no longer you, you are your nation. Like the following:

RP: This post will concern the proper way of formatting RP posts

Candensia would like to take the time to show other nations how to format their posts. This is an example of how to do so. We would appreciate it if other nations formatted their RP posts like so. Thank you.

Out of roleplay posts are to be titled "OOC" (Out of Character) or "OORP" (Out of Role Play). You may refer to yourself in OOC posts. Like this:

      OORP

Hey! Isn't talking out of character fun? I certainly think so!

      Technology

      Custom technology is allowed.

A dispatch/ factbook is to be written for any custom tech, explaining its strengths, weaknesses, and uses.

All technologies must adhere to Technology Rules.

      Military Sizes and War Resolution

      • All military sizes will be determined by stats from the following calculation.

Your Population times 0.62, times 0.12

So if Candensia has a population of 1 billion, Candensia would multiply their population by 0.62, and then multiply that number by 0.12

        1 Billion times 0.62 is 620 Million

        620 Million times 0.12 is 74.4 Million.

      • The Result of that calculation will then be multiplied by 0.25, 0.33, or 0.40, depending on the nations' population

        • Nations with a population of 5 Million to 999 Million will multiply their answer by 0.40

        • Nations with a population of 1 Billion to 2.99 Billion will multiply their answer by 0.33

        • Nations with a population of over 3 Billion will multiply their answer by 0.25

So Candensia will multiply their answer, 74.4 Million, by 0.33, since Candensia has a population of 1 Billion.

74.4 Million times 0.33 is 24.5 Million. Therefore, Candensia has a military size of 24.5 Million.

Federations/Unions are not allowed to use their combined population to calculate military size, it must be done per nation.

All military weapons, units, and technologies must adhere to Technology Rules.

Wars must be declared under some sort of pretense (i.e. there must be a legitamate, sensible reason)
Annexation is currently allowed under certain circumstances, which are listed in the dispatch below.

      page=dispatch/id=1239317

Peace treaties must be fair to both nations. The end result must be fair, and this aspect will be overseen by RP Moderators.

Nations engaged as an aggressor in an offensive war must wait 2 RP years (14 IRL Days) before declaring subsequent offensive wars.

      Roleplay Moderation

Roleplay Moderators watch over the regional roleplay to ensure it maintains a safe, fair, and welcoming environment. They will void any roleplay posts that do not adhere to this standard. All nations are obligated to comply with any requests from Moderator. Be nice to them, they are volunteers, and they don't (usually) bite. If you have any questions, flag a Moderator down by sending them a telegram or a message on discord.

Kadershan lays in ashes, rubble, and smoke. As the last remaining citizens crawl out of the caves, only a couple hundred in size, they walk onto the fallen stones of the 14 castles of their former civilization. Dead carcasses of jinxies litter the ground. The last of them are either dead or have run away and retreated to their caves. The leader, an older man who used to be a floor 1 leader of the military castle shoves a flag into the ground between two stones. The crowd around him cheers. At the same time, the last working phone in the nation calls in to every major leader of a nation.

“We live! We live! The jinxies are gone! Rejoice!”

The mood is happy for the first time in the week they've waited for the last set of bombs to blow up, finally ending the jinxies for good. A couple of white furry Yanki walk around as well, seemingly invulnerable to the several bomb attacks. The people are bewildered but honestly dont care. Today they rejoice, not worry.
Today is the founding of new Kadershan

OORP: theres a good possibility im gonna remake the nation now that everything has changed but i dont know if yall are okay with that. If anyone has any protests against that they feel free to voice them but i need to change my name, identity and basically everything so i prob need to make another nation

Rumanian States wrote:RP: Danubian Surrender and The Treaty of Targoviste
Danubian Premier Anatoly Kornilov ordered a unconditional surrender of all Danubian Forces to ‘Coalition and Accord Armies’ only two hours after coming to power in the vacuum left by Petroshenkov. Following orders the worn out and ragtag Danubian Armies laid down arms and were taken prisoner until a official peace could be signed. Rumanian Government received over 700,000 Danubian POWs within a week of the surrender order. And only two weeks after the unconditional surrender, the Danubian Premier and King Vasille were able to come to a peace ‘agreement’ in the Targoviste Palace. Next came the Sulina Trials, a series of trials against Danubian Officials and Generals for human rights violations, war crimes, and crimes against humanity. Former Premier Petroshenkov and his advisors were tried, despite their absence, and were sentenced to hanging, if returned to Rumania. Several other Danubian Generals as well as key officials were sentenced to death or 6x life in prison. The trials were broadcasted across nearly every Rumanian news channel for all the nation and world to witness. Following the trials, the Rumanian Foreign Office requested that permission from the government of Evve terre to carry out a search for missing Danubian Officials and Premier Petroshenkov. The Foreign Office has also requested Evve Terre sign a extradition treaty with Rumania in order to facilitate the return of the missing criminals.

      RP: Reconstruction and the Aftermath
Following the surrender and dissolution of Danubia, 500,000 Rumanian Forces have moved in and occupied Danubia. The first course of action for the Rumanian Government was to assess the damage of the war, a post-war census is being taken in the regions directly affected by the war and will be compared to Danubian and Rumanian pre-war records to estimate the casualties of the war. The Rumanian Government has also begun clearing out the piles of rubble to pave the way for reconstruction. Thousands of tons of construction equipment and materials are being shipped south to be used in the reconstruction. However, before they can arrive vital railways and roadways need to be rebuilt. Using the Danube to carry materials, infrastructures repair crews move south rebuilding the infrastructure necessary for reconstruction. In order to employ some of the now million jobless and homeless in Danubia, the Rumanian Government will use local workers to rebuild and reconstruct the south. The Rumanian Government must also deal with the millions of homeless too, makeshift camps have been set up and tent cities litter the fields and forests surrounding former cities. The Government tries their best to bring in basic supplies as well as medical supplies and staff but there are too many left homeless so outside help is needed. Now, King Vasille requests that the same nations who helped him win the war now help him in rebuilding. He requests that all possible Accord Members send food and medical supplies as well as medical staff to help in the south.

      RP: Diplomacy
The Rumanian Government has denied Nonadia’s request for a military base, giving no official reason for the rejection. Of course, Rumania‘s lack of extensive diplomatic and military ties with Nonadia was the most likely reason for the denial.

      RP: Germanics?

About 500 of these missiles are launched, racing towards various locations in Kadershan.

Annexation is currently allowed under certain circumstances, which are listed in the dispatch below.

      page=dispatch/id=1239317

      Technology Rules

This is a short guideline regarding role play technology in this region, the following rules (and moderators) are there to ensure technology used by nations in this region are practical and feasible as well as not overpowered. Nationstates Issues are not applicable in the regional RP, the choices you make on them do not affect your nation RP-wise.

      Regarding weapons of mass destruction:

      ALL WMD's ARE BANNED. This may include, but is not limited to the following;

      • Nuclear Weapons

      • "Futuristic" WMD’s

      • Bio-Weapons

      • Magical Superweapons

RP Moderators reserve the right to declare ANY technology, or derivative thereof illegal, in order to promote RP stability, fairness, realism, or for other reasons laid out in the Roleplay Moderation section of the RP Rules.

Other than that have fun and express your creativity, and consult RP Mods if you have any questions!
