Unfortunately, you can faraday cage something to make it resistant against emps. The better the faraday cage, the more resistant it is to emp. What’s more, there’s a direct correlation between the range, strength, and somewhat direct correlation to size of the emp.

Excuse me, it's a missile, it hits wide range of targets, say

A open field, with tanks and stuff, the EMP explode in atmosphere, it should knock out tanks

If put Faraday cage, how the tank gonna fight?
