.....Time to RP!

S T A T E M E N T
This is my new longest RP ever I hope you all enjoy, it was a long time in the works and is going to be an ambitious project.

The sun slowly anchored down past the horizon as darkness came to conquer the sky. And quickly, the city of Okusha was wrapped in the shroud of night. The metropolis was so astoundingly beautiful in the blackness, it couldn’t be made out in words. The gleam and shimmer of buildings in the moonlight reminded Scarlet of Christmas time, which she thought of so fondly so. The sprinkler of fireworks that exploded in the sky made it all the better. It was truly a gift to witness it.

Scarlet, Queen of Avuron, Conquerer and Just, was to see herself re-crowned an empress among the tribal leaders of the Sawteeth. And while most considered them creatures, she only saw a formidable army. It was time for her to begin a revolution, the world would know its leader. But she wouldn’t worry herself with imperial duties; it was time to celebrate her anniversary in power. She has obsessed over this very night.

Scarlet peered back over her palace terrace at the thousands of people crowded near the palace gates. This is where the parade, her parade, would begin. Like every year, the parade was to march down past the Trade Center Tower, recoup, and then glide to the Imperial Bank. From there, the parade would reroute and head towards the palace where the final festivities would be held including games, amusement park rides, and the annual, collective singing of the national anthem. The Queen would see it fit that every person in the capital showed. This was her day, and her’s alone.

Snow dribbled on the paraders who waited patiently outside, no one dared a word when their queen prepares an entrance. The gathering of at least five hundred thousand people stretched for a mile. The sheer stark ability for the queen to command on her subjects to reply to this holiday was remarkable. Scarlet smiled as the accompanying force of ten thousand soldiers arrived for security purposes, blowing her party’s attendance to new records. Tonight was the most prestigious night in Avuronian after all, who couldn’t come?

“M’lady?” a small voice whispered from behind.

Scarlet made a swift turn to lock faces with a servant girl, maybe in her mid twenties.

The young woman quickly dropped eye contact and gazed at the ceiling. She took a few deep breaths before saying in a voice, barely a whimper, “Y-y-yes the, um, y-you are to be out there-outside ma’am.” She gestured out towards the window. A platform was set up near the front walls of the palace, Scarlet was required to address the crowd before any festivities could begin.

“Hmm. Give me another minute darling. And my dress, where is it?”

The servant spun around and dotted out of the room before returning with an elegant gown. The dress was not as delicate as normal imperial attire. In fact most of the outfit was armored in some form or fashion. It didn’t make it comfortable, but Scarlet didn’t care. It was as black as charcoal and had an obsidian scaled cape sowed to the back. This was complimented by the dark blue sapphires that dotted the bottom half of the gown. An additional touch in the silver lining of the dress made it blinding in the room light. Thin sleeves, cut out at the elbows were worrisome, but no cold air would keep Scarlet from meeting with her citizens. She observed the gown, and with her inspection complete, she dismissed the servant girl and changed.

Outside, the people hummed to the melody of the first few concords of the National war song. How many times they had all heard it, but it seemed more fresh and vibrant every time they listened to it. Mother Nature seemed to agree as the wind began to howl to the rhythm. This was a people united. A people bonded together through war and tragedy. Nothing would break them, nothing. So they sun louder, and louder. Eventually the orchestra of violins and base played to the same sound. A choir joined them. A silhouette of hundreds of thousands or people in one song, united by hopes, guided by dreams. The song filled the winter air far into the night, giving all the citizens hope, sounding out the shrill screams that happened in the distance.

Scarlet had slid into her outfit and put on some loose makeup. She remembered to put on lip gloss, paint her nails, and all the other bullshit duties. She really didn’t care, but appearance was everything in this world—so she would impress. Scarlet slipped two daggers into her dress, should things get ugly. While concealing the weapons in a strap attached to her thigh, Scarlet caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror. She stared at the woman, with her pale, almost ghostly white skin, and her gleaming silver and white hair to match. She used to be called ‘Little Snowflake’ by the selfish ass of a slave master she once knew as her guardian. How times had changed. A slave girl assassin to queen of Avuron. How powerful.

She began rubbing her hands over her body trying to loose the small wrinkles in the outfit. Then she got increasingly frustrated at this one wrinkle that wouldn’t give. She growled almost just before she heard a knock on the door.

“I guess this is a wrong time then?” the voice snickered. The sweet harmony of the voice could only be owned by one. Scarlet turned to come face-to-face with her love to be, Vivian.

“I thought we settled that I was perfect and had no ‘wrong times’ remember?” Scarlet muttered back, returning to look in the mirror.

“Right, I guess you’re just so perfect you can’t indulge in these absolutely horrible carb-filled cookies I made. It’s treason to give the queen anything that’ll harm her figure,” Vivian made an obnoxious gasping sound and proceeded to dramatically crumple on the bed.

“Oh my gosh, shut up babe and bring those cookies over,” Scarlet giggled.

Vivian gleamed and peeled herself off there luxurious bed, tumbling over to Scarlet’s beauty corner. She leaned over Scarlet’s shoulder, kissed her twice on the cheek and handed her a freshly baked cookie. Vivian then walked into Scarlet’s gargantuas wardrobe.

“Second thought, this might have too many carbs,” Scarlet said sarcastically.

“Sorry, there’s a ‘no return policy,’” Vivian jokingly replied. They both laughed while Scarlet practically gobbled the cookie in one bite, she was starving.

Scarlet then turned to her collection of jewelry. She should wear some formal, something empowering. She knew just what was right. She reached out for the necklace Vivian got her last summer when she proposed. It was laced with at least two hundred diamonds, mixed with some sapphires. But the real gem was the cutout for the scarlet-colored ruby that made the necklace so valuable. Scarlet always got happy putting it on. She turned in her chair, “Hey Babe, does this make my boobs look big?”

Vivian peered outside the wardrobe doorway, “Hmm. Maybe just a little-“

“Wait really?!” Scarlet turned and looked back into the mirror.

Vivian snickered, “Maybe that’s just a good thing.” She sexily walked out of the closet in her own dark gown which complimented her dark brown hair and hazel eyes very well. She was easily the most beautiful in Avuron, maybe StrangeReal, but she was Scarlet’s woman and that’s what mattered. “Ready to go see the fireworks baby?”

Scarlet stopped staring at Vivian and replied, trying to contain her excitement, “Yes.”

....................................................................................

The crowds of people gathered outside Scarlet’s palace were greatly relieved hearing the roar of the imperial trumpets, and the orchestra sounding again. By now it was nearly eleven o’clock, but time was no worry for the citizens, they came prepared to see this ceremony, and stay they would.

The first few horns played at a shallow noise, announcing the entrance of the Grand Generale, leader Blare of the North. He was a large man, peaking at six foot five. His arms, though large and muscled were scarred with many injuries from wars to tavern skirmishes. His blue eyes danced at the sudden applause but he remained calm nonetheless. He saw emotion as a weakness, life was about the objective and nothing else.

He attempted a weak smile as he walked down from the palace doorway and onto the stage where the orchestra and band played to his entry. A strong, powerful melody. He took his seat on a chair to the left of the queen’s throne.

Following his entrance, several other ministers of the house were introduced, but no one minded, they came to see the queen.

The music stopped and everyone was commanded to a moment of silence over the monstrous amount of speakers strung through downtown. The little bits of applause quickly died down. For a full minute, nothing moved. Even the air came to a sudden halt.

Then suddenly fire works blew from the sides of the stage into the night sky. The flurry of exploding lights excited the citizens as they stared flummoxed at the sky. Instantly, ten jets, decorated in the lights of the nation’s flag flew wildly into the sky, dancing to the rhythm of the fireworks that they flew around. And as suddenly as they appeared, the jets dispersed, leaving behind the word applause spelled in smoke. And then, she appeared.

Scarlet marched down the aisle, Vivian wrapped in her right arm. They smiled and waved. Horns bombarded the night sky, but they trailed in comparison to the roar of thousands of adoring citizens. Even people seven blocks back knew who was here.

More fireworks lit the sky, and the band boomed the national anthem. Proud and loudly, all the citizens followed in suite. The patriotic representation was even made better by the stream of celebrities that followed Scarlet and her bride to be. The couple took many poses for the press before taking their seats, and Scarlet’s at the throne.

Scarlet smiled at her audience of tens of thousands and she clapped accordingly. The crowds roared even louder. Scarlet smiled, this was her favorite time of year. And after what seemed to be thousands, and a second at the same time, the crowds were quiet.

Scarlet had a mic attached to her earpiece so she could speak to the crowds, to her people. “Hello Avuron.” The crowds lost it, yet again.

“Our return to the world stage is upon us. This is revolutionary development like no other. I lead us to victory once and I’ll do it again. For the Republic. For the people.” There was subtle applause this time, many respected the queen and what she had to say. “But this is no day just for myself. This is a day for our country and how far we’ve come since the likes of President William! Our nation will never fall again. We are on a rise. We are the rise. Let us flourish in this day and age. And once our Queendom is complete, the sun will never set on us, on our empire.”

The crowds lost it. Everything was drowned out in the roar and applause of thousands, hundreds of thousands. No year had experienced attendance on this level, and the best of the celebration was yet to come.

“Now, down to the Trade Center, we march! Let the world hear our thunderous approach to the heavens. This our day, our reckoning!”

The crowd gave one last unified cheer and they gathered their belongings to begin the march. Then, when all was said and done, when the night had just begun, a bullet flew through the air and pierced Scarlet’s throne.

.....................................................................................

The ensuing chaos was expected, and though a naturally orderly and respective people, the flare of gunshots was enough to terrify all the citizens closest to the throne. Under bombardment, the Queen and Vivian were shuttled by guards and rushed indoors. At least a hundred soldiers were already rushing towards top floors of building, while imperial guards and police made quick helicopter landings anywhere safe.

After a minute, the shootings had ceased, but the terrorist operation didn’t end there. Instantly, in the middle of the crowd a bomb blew up. This shattered the columns of a nearby building and it began to collapse inward. The streets were evacuated quickly. But the screaming was enough to drive anyone crazy. Firefighters rushed to the scene and first responders made it just in time to save the lives of those in the area. An armada of guards bordered the castle now, while others began to sweep the streets for any more demolitions.

After at least an hour, the Queen formed a press call with the ministers available, notably the branch of defense operators. It had been cleared that both the minister of finance and supreme justice were both killed. Most incoming reports form the military totaled 670 dead, but people were still counting. The buildings surrounding the palace were almost all evacuated, but the detonation of a bomb took the lives of close to 400 civilians.

Scarlet was infuriated, no, beyond that. She was in her war room, just a simple place for a meeting. Surrounded by monitors with the faces of her ministry whom had video called her. When Scarlet deemed that enough of them were there she slammed her fists on the first table she saw. It shattered under her blow and made the newer guards linger a little closer to the doorway.

In all her rage and fury, Scarlet glared deeply into the screens that showed the faces of the leaders of her nation. She said through grinder teeth, “what the hell happened?”

Everyone was silent until General Blare, who was on her left replied, “A breach in security ma’am we believe it was a terrorist act supported by the country of Troyskova.”

“Your evidence Blare?” Scarlet growled.

“We captured two of the shooters my liege, and one of them is here now.” He moved out of the way as ten soldiers flanking both sides of the man came marching into the room. Scarlet turned from the monitors to peer into the eyes of the attacker. Fire danced in her pupils threatening to strike a vicious blow.

She studied him for a quick second and then suddenly picked him up by the throat, throwing him against the concrete. Her other hand was occupied with a dagger.

“I’ll ask once and once only. Who the hell are you and are you ready to die?”

He bared one look into her eyes and whimpered away. “Troyskova,” he muttered, “Hired-I was hired! Please, I have a family—“

“And you nearly killed mine,” Scarlet snarled and turned to Vivian to make sure she was alright. Just looking at Vivian in the smallest amount of pain infuriated Scarlet enough to swiftly turn on her heals and stab her blade into terrorist’s throat.

“We’ll make plans by tomorrow, no one ruins my god damn holiday, understand?”

The ministers and generals nodded. Vivian stood up and drew a blade from her back, “Another war ay? It’s been a long time babe, we were on a good streak.” Vivian smirked and stepped closer to Scarlet.

“Streaks are meant to be broken, besides Troyskova is about to feel what it’s like to battle the fiercest woman on the planet.” Scarlet kissed Vivian on her soft pursed lips, she wanted the moment to last forever, but she had a job. Scarlet quickly turned to General Blare, “Mobilization by the end of the month, am I clear?”

Blade nodded, with that Scarlet and Vivian moved to enter the access code to leave the war chamber.

“Where are you two headed?” questioned minister of interior, Black Jack.

Vivian responded as the door chimed opened, “You can’t go to war on an empty stomach.”

Scarlet and her grabbed one another’s hand and they walked toward the shooting range.

General Blare shook his head, he knew that he was going to be the one to have a public statement, how he hated bureaucracy, but a good old war was worth it.

TLDR:
After receiving a polite, little not saying “you suck, leave or feel the wrath of a menace” Amadeo II departed, his flight taking him to his proper home. However, his pilot “made a mistake” and the plane landed in a strange-looking airfield in Puczovska.

After months of violence, mass shootings, and political protest, the King reinstated the power of the Senate. Consequently, it wasn’t long until the Senate passed the “Foreign Rule on Foreign Lands Clause” of the new constitution, forcing the King to rule from his home country. Amadeo II, after a riot at his literal doorstep decided to attempt to break in and remove the King himself, loaded onto one of his private jets and took off.
