The American Government won’t accept a alliance but is willing to sign a Mutual Defense Treaty (Similar to Japan and USA Today).

Today the Head of state of Santamar, Manuel Rojas, has declared that he is the legitimate successor of the former santamarian king, Alfonso De León.

Chasun, "We recognize the legitimate heir to the Santamarian throne. While your at it, can we ally?"

Santamar wrote:"We would accept an economic alliance, but not a military alliance."

Chasun, "Agreed; my whole point is to create as many alliances as possible and do anything to make it possible."

Alexander wouldn’t make a great ruler today. He was a great military commander but didn’t have to much talent for actually running his Empire. That is why it fell once he died

Yes he would have lived longer but he drank himself to death after his lover died.

You just reaffirmed my point. Do you really think a drunk and depressed man is best to rule a Empire?

Santamar wrote:When I say WA member I'm talking about the nation itself, not its citizens, the current proposal technically also affects non-wa member nations (Something that it's not allowed)

I think this solves the problem.

Title: Establishment of International Referendum

World Assembly,

Acknowledging that WA members who follow the laws of their nation and WA members who are criminals that have completed their sentences and parole/probation shall deserve the right to vote.

Presenting the current reality that the politician each individual votes for may not agree with everything the WA member believes.

Understanding that every WA member in every nation who is of legal age cannot directly vote for or against international legislation.

Recognizes the effectiveness of laws passed by nations that institute a mandated national referendum in order to pass all laws proposed within their nation's government and the effectiveness of laws that guarantee the right to petition international government.

Pointing out that the right to vote on a international referendum does not extend to corporations and is reserved for individual WA members.

Clarifying that this resolution does not establish a complete direct democracy in the World Assembly.

Notes that an international referendum must also be held if at least 5,000 WA members agree with a petition to repeal passed legislation by the WA.

Hereby institutes a mandated WA referendum in order to pass all laws proposed by government and gives WA members that are of legal age in the nation they reside the right to vote on national referendums.
