As a former foreign affairs minister, I'm also looking forward to these embassies. Although these and the other new features don't change the game mechanics (as far as we've seen), I have been playing NS more. Perhaps reports of the game's death were exaggerated.

These embassies are kinda strange... I wonder what'll happen with them. Doesn't look like they do much besides show you similar regions.

Sleeper invader nations? Huh?

I would like to discuss this new "Embassy" feature. I have approved some embassy proposals, but I now realise that without the consent of the members of TPC this is inappropriate.
I believe that it is vitally important that all should have a say in this so I would suggest that we conduct a vote, not only on new Embassies, but also on the ones that I have already accepted.
I do realise that not all of our members have access to our (highly inactive) forum, so as such I'm happy to accept deliberations here

As far as I understand it is purely symbolic?

If so, I don't see why we wouldn't want embassies with regions that have a similar world view.

In line with my previous post I have received an embassy offer from the Syndicated Red Black Tendenciesk
