I hope your friends are okay.

How so?

Disarming the proletariat is the best way to immediately stifle them. The idea of only the police and military having access to firearms is nothing but contempt for the poor by robbing them of the ability to defend themselves, as is their right, and of the ability to resist tyranny, which is their responsibility.

However, Democratic Socialism states nothing about robbing people of their guns. In fact, Bernie Sanders has stated multiple times that he simply wants expanded background checks and to close loopholes, such as buying a gun at a gun show without a proper background check. These are things that the majority of Americans seem to agree with.

Struggle for finite resources makes it impractical , I think.

And the fact that a communist government typically has a dictator at the top, which defeats the purpose of it lol

Communism is by nature democratic. The world has plenty of resources the problem is that they are distributed in a way that makes it impossible to utilize them.

The accumulated knowledge and wealth that can come from a single long life.

Very good point, I can definitely see why that'd be a good option. I chose the former because of the amount of life experiences one can attain by going in 10 different paths

That's fair. However, do you retain the memories in each different life? I'm sure in 1000 year life span you'd change paths a few times.

Hmm, I imagine in this scenario you would retain the memories of your past lives, but you'd just start over as an infant ten times, whereas in the 1000 years scenario you'd go through life straight through

I abstain, One life is just enough for me, books and videogames help me to live plenty of stories in one life :)

The socialist republic of russia

I think we need to know when we die because if we have unfinished stuff to do (like to apologise) and we are going to die soon, but you do not know that, you will have a heavy heart feeling shameful in heaven (or those evil ones, hell, but they would not care, would they).
