BREAKING NEWS:
A terror attack has left the capitol building in the city of Genjux destroyed.
At approximately 7:57 AM, a group of armed men, entered the building, firing military level assault weapons at anyone they encountered. It is not know if they were targeting any particular individual, but the attack left 48 dead, and 92 wounded. Among the dead, Political leader, and the favored candidate in the senate election, Dexter Maxgard. At 8:00 AM, the Geronimo Armed Forces arrived at the capitol. Soon after, explosions were heard and seen, as the terrorists detonated a car bomb located behind the building, and suicide vests that were worn by the perpetrators.
Queen Samantha Krovelex appeared later, at a press conference at 9:32 AM with the following statement:
"The attack today in the city of Genjux has the whole nation grieving for the loss of friends, family, and colleagues. The root of this attack will be found, and targeted for the safety of the population. The nations condolences are with all who where affected today."

News in Development:

Following a thorough investigation by the Miagsregh Campus Security, the Office of Internal Affairs, and the Imperial Army, the Sparrowhawk gunship used in the attack twelve days ago has been tracked to the Fävel Mountain Deadzone. Although already generally a desolate area, the Fävel Area (and the K5 from Temple Naro Voka to the Sarder Nat border at Glass Point) has been shut down, and no civilian access is allowed without local residence permit.

By initial physical scans from forensics teams at the site, the Sparrowhawk was heading seaside, as its flightpath was just heading north as it crashed. No further information has been discussed for public sources. Northwestern Felchah from Fävel to Illoki is on Class C alert, so please notify your local authorities of any suspicious activity in your area. Messages have been sent to Sarder Nat, and border security on the SN/IF border has been temporarily raised to fingerprint and iris scanning.

Following Queen Krovelex's statement regarding the unfolding war on terror, her mention of Felchah's most recent incident, and a supplement of soldiers to the Joint Forces, Hegemon Heskel Crane and Imperial Supreme Admiral Arlek Shae made a joint speech at the most recent gathering of the Miagsregh. Representatives from the Felchan News Channel (FNC) were allowed in to record and transcribe the speech:

Crane: "It has come to my attention, with these grave instances of brutal human nature, that we must take action in the name of preserving the order we and our fellow Alkmonai nations have restored. This bird of war found in the Fävel Range is not alone. Those dead in the square, those marks on the stone walls, will not be the last unless we take them here. Long have the armed forces of Imperial Felchah dealt with the pirates and scavengers on the fringe islands, but with renewed support, I want to put our main military focus here and now on the targeting and elimination of these foes. Here today is Supreme Admiral Shae -- I'm sure you know him well -- to speak on the current situation with the northwestern seas."

Shae: "Thank you, Hegemon Crane. The IFN in the northwestern sectors have been dealing with a predicament of sorts, regarding known terrorist factions and pirate groups. For one, we are not dealing with a small enemy. Most of these are either remnant Minorian forces or limping-along Subwayhead ships.
The latter is simple, since our orbital guns can eliminate them as soon as we identify them hostile, but the former is the main issue here. As you all are well aware, esteemed members of the high council, Minorians still have a fairly competent remnant hidden the atolls and reefs to our north. They have many leaders, and are just as efficient with hiding their tracks as their predecessors. Along with this, they use raised and repaired shipping vessels sunk at the reefs for their secondary warships, and we've had trouble catching them before they got to international waters, or across another water-border. Per the Treaty of Vrelens twenty-five years ago, Imperial Felchan ships are not to pursue targets into Sarder Natian waters, as they have a navy gifted to them to fight their own battles. Whether this new development in terrorist actions will prompt a rescinding or rewriting of the treaty is left to question, but the IFN acknowledges the fact that, if unattended, Sarder Nat, Cascadia, and most coastal nations stand at risk of terror strikes from Minorian forces and those funded by them -- as the terrorists here are presumed to be. Mr. Crane recognises the sensitivity of the details of proposing a continental operation, so from here will be a closed session of the Miagsregh. Thank you."

Talks behind closed doors at the Miagsregh campus are still going on and will be for the next two days, with three times the normal guards assigned there normally. Intelligence Director Yumaiy Kora has denied a full statement with FNC, but mentioned that the talks are going "well, and representatives from other nations are participating in a relaxed fashion" as well that "we should expect good results". Whether his claims are validated are, as well, left to question, but with information that United States Navy warships are departing from Pearl Harbour and Bremerton heading towards Alkmon, we can assume a public announcement will be made shortly.

Today, Geronimo Foreign Affairs has invited leaders and large figures to the Geronimo Royal wedding between Queen Samantha Krovelex, and James Crutchfeld, which will be held August 10th, at the Fawkxark Royal Halls. With this, a request for an increase of security has been made for the safety of all guests.

Oliver Ashman, a well known Geronimo businessman, has sent a proposition to other wealthy entrepreneurs and business owners in establishing a region wide basketball league, with requests for teams from nation in the Alkmon. A quote from Ashman;
"I think, with establishing of a regional basketball league, can lead to better relations within nations. Along with the possibility of other sports being added to regional leagues. I believe investing into something like this, can be a very good economic, and bond-building choice."

Geronimo Armed Forces have arrested the main suspect after an ongoing stake-out following a string of serial like murders in the town of Havard. Alfred Vae, GAF Chief of Forensics provided this information;
"The lead suspect in our investigation of recent murders in Havard, has been detained and a search warrant has been issued for his house, and surrounding land. He was detained after DNA samples found his fingerprints on one victim's body, and through Geronimo Citizen Databases, we located his residence and arrested him under the suspicion of murder, his first court appearance is July 29th."
