I live again haha
Elcric Kcalb I don't doubt that!
Urcea You heard the man :P Welcome to stash a puppet here anyway though!
Somehow I`m managing time to control the border
Looks like a Dingo ate our baby (Yallak) again, EK?
Urcea and Elcric Kcalb
It's one of those situations where you learn not to grow too attached to the baby.
XD
Fear not, i'll always get spat back out again :D
It appears a dingo, like a dog, will eat what it puked up...
I for one welcome dread lord Yallak back from the (oft-visited) grave

Wow, I lived to see the day Aschenhyrst went CTE
Oh, I'm sure it's happened before. The occasional CTE is practically a Tyrrhenian tradition at this point.
Heard you missed me? I'm back, lol

It`s about the 5th time in nearly 19 years. Every once in a while the old man gets buried in work and sleep becomes the greater priority. Odd thing is 4 or 5 years ago I talked about RP`ing an apocalyptic event that would end my nation to give me a proper death rather than just fading into obscurity, like oh so many others, but maybe made one or two posts and walked away from that idea. I think I finally decided on semi-retirement, i`m around if needed but I no longer have the free time I once did to waste several hours a week here. I still enjoy the friendships i`ve made here that some of have bled over to RL in some way; I still communicate with Lasley for example, our RL physical similarities (we`re both well over 6', you know "Normal Sized" :P) and age difference has provided a surrogate father/son relationship, not to mention his interest in English History and the continuing roles I discover my ancestors played in it. Yallak`s interest in military firearms (in spite of being in a place where a functioning one is prohibited) and my working knowledge of the same (through actual posession of the same) has been another source of bonding and amusement for me over the years. Not to metion the tales of yesteryear I bore all of you with about things someone could once do without having daylight piped to them for the rest of their life and my whimsical way of describing things in the very rural vernacular I have.
Rest assured lads, if its a long CTE that I haven`t said anything about then I have quit sucking air.
Elcric Kcalb and Yallak
That last line is less reassuring than you might think :P
Anyway, I understand. My NS time is borderline nothing these day, much sadness.
Say hi to Lasley for me, we haven't spoken in a while.
And in case you didnt know already about how picky I am with naming things, the region activity log now demonstrates clearly.
Anyone have the original .psd file (or whichever format it is) for the map? Gotta update it and show off how exclusive we are.
I've got the originals, but there's a tagging thing and I fubar'd it, so when i get the chance i'll redo it. Well not quite original, buts its the 2014 version that was hosted on our Tyrr web forum.
Map fixed, sort of
I think I was RP`ing a takeover of Saxe-Glunder-Eisenbach at one time but thanks to my wonderful prior internet provider, they shut down my email server (notifying me by email after the fact) and of course my offsite forum account was linked to that email. So I don`t think I can even access it to verify. It was part of a plan I`d drawn up with Lasley to build a small Sudkreis Confederation including his city-state and endorsing his modern Hanseatic league or Trade Federation also operating in the Sudkreis. All this is ancient history at his point, at least 10 years ago, and with the stagnation I will accept the territorial changes as defined by the map as canon.
Took a little snooze again Lads and time got away from me, I`m back. I probably should come up with a list of Passwords that I`ll PM to whats left of us and set dates for changes. Should any of us fall to the wayside, the keys will be under the flower pot by the back door.
Fanboy is requesting to come back
Let 'em in!
Hell yeah. I'm having a 'The Patriot' moment:
Just the three of us?
John Raskin did come by earlier. He looked around, then he left.
He would've made four.
Four would have been better.
I resent him the PW. Hopefully he`ll respond soon.
Funny thing about your Patriot reference Yal.... in the final scene at Yorktown where Cornwallis is absolutely disgusted he must surrender to the colonial rabble, the look of distain in his face. It`s probably because in real life my 5th great grandfather was there as a young Captain in the Virginia Militia.
"Those Damned Aschen"
Fun poking aside. I will be developing a list of new passwords for next year and a schedule to implement them. I`ll keep it simple and based off the regions history.
