Once again, Republic of La Boca makes it!

Fdryden wrote:How would a nation prove that it’s WA nation is in another region? I believe this policy poses A large security threat to our region. While good intentioned, this would open us up for invasion. you come from a military background, so you must have a plan for proof of citizenship, right?

That is simple. We ask the nation to submit it's WA nation in the Citizenship form. After that we confirm it by contacting the region where they are located. Remember that we will only have dual citizenship for nations in the regions which are very close to us.
Also there is no security threat to our region. To pose a threat, they must be WA nations.

Fdryden, I have some questions regarding the Ethics Commissioner
1.The ethics commissioner should have the ability to trigger a confidence vote of any member of the executive.
Any member of the Democratic Assembly (which is practically everybody in the region) can trigger a confidence vote. There is no need for a special position to do that.
2.The ethics commissioner should also have the ability to hand down case by case punishments to any member of the executive as they see fit.
The Supreme Court gives the verdict and our Founder can hand down the punishment.
3.The ethics commissioner, like any other official, should also have the ability to be replaced by a simple majority of the region. This is the only position permanent residence will also have voting rights on, as I believe everyone should have input on such a crucial post.
You say that an Ethics Commissioner can enforce the removal of a member of the executive. Then who will enforce the removal of the Ethics Commissioner himself if he is voted out?

Latiouthel

We have an update now with 38 percent of the vote in here are the results so far:
Fdryden 52%
Clovena 48%

If he h is voted out, it works like any other executive member who is voted out by the democratic assembly.

And how is that? Removed by the President? The Supreme Court? How exactly?

The president

Fdryden wrote:The president

But isn't the President a part of the executive? What if he is impeached?

Clovena wrote:But isn't the President a part of the executive? What if he is impeached?

If he is impeached and the ethics commissioner is then also removed, and move down the chain of succession to the vice president. Then to the speaker.

But my question is that who enforces the removal of the President?

You say that the Ethics Commissioner enforces the removal of members of the executive. I asked who will enforce the removal of the Ethics Commissioner. You said the President. But isn't he a part of the executive too? Who will enforce his removal? The Ethics Commissioner again? This turning into a chain now.

The ethics commissioners removal is enforced by the President, the presidents removal, if triggered by them, enforced by the ethics commissioner.

So you mean that if the President is removed, then the Ethics Commissioner will also resign?

Projection: After a Long night The Ohino Department of Elections has projected the following.

Clovena has won Ohino's Vote in the Election for WAD Delegate, President. Final Vote Results will come soon

Clovena wrote:So you mean that if the President is removed, then the Ethics Commissioner will also resign?

No, that’s not what I said at all. My dictation screwed that up.
Basically, in a circumstance with the Ethics commissioner calling for the removal of the president, and that being approved by the house, they will enforce it. likewise, if the house removes the ethics commissioner, then like any other executive posts, the president reinforces their removal. I think I have laid this out much clearer now.

Now that clears it up.

But won't it be better to give this responsibility to the Founder? In many regions, the Founder does this job.
