That's what succeed means, yes. The person who succeeds Trump is the person who comes after Trump. Trump can't come after Trump because he is Trump.

The regional governmemt of Altay informs you about the change to our embassy policy:

1. An embassy is perceived as a sign of alliance between Altay and a region which has an embassy in Altay. By establishing an embassy in Altay, a region agrees to a non-agression pact, regarding raiding, defending and interregional politics, between it and Altay. This alliance may be ended at any point by simply abolishing the embassy.

2. An embassy can be established with any region, as long as:

•the region allows for at least minimal freedom of Embassy posting

•a citizen of Altay has a puppet/main nation in the region

•the region is active (on average max. 8 hours between RMB posts)

3. If a region does not meet one or more of the criteria mentioned in the 1st clause, the Founder of Altay can give a special permission to construct embassies.

Technically, doesn't a consecutive term count as a successive one?

It's a successive term but not a successive president. When someone asks you who Obama's successor is, you don't say Obama just because he had a second term.

I can see DeSantis and Nunes having pretty good chances as of now but of course who knows in 2024..

Ethnic nations

Florida legalized ex-felon voting in 2018, and I don't see many felons voting Republican. As for Nunes, California gets bluer by the year, and Nunes only won by 5% in 2018, down from 35% in 2016.

Anyone want to rate my country's policies? I'm quite happy with them.

Today is the Army day in Altay!
Enjoy the commemorative postcard.

It's beautiful; I love it.

Thanks! I really appreciate it.

Permanent Marriage + No Adultery? I imagine marriage is a life sentence.

Prudism? A nation-wide uniform system sounds lovely. So much for authoritarian states as a negative if you're happy with that.

No Contraception and Maternity Leave actually makes sense.

No Video Games is rather ironic. Unless, of course, this website doesn't really count.

As for No Immigration and No Emmigration, you seem to fit the ideals of this region quite well.

If you're going to live in my country, better think thrice before uttering the words "till death do we part".

True Chinese Federation wrote:So much for authoritarian states as a negative

Authoritarianism is definitely a positive, and it looks like you feel the same way based on your own nation's policies. By the way, heterosexuality and polygamy is a strange duo of policies to have together.

True Chinese Federation wrote:No Contraception and Maternity Leave actually makes sense.

I would have preferred to ban women from the workplace, but I wasn't given that option.

True Chinese Federation wrote:No Video Games is rather ironic. Unless, of course, this website doesn't really count.

I didn't actually want to ban video games, but the other option was to sponsor "e-sports" tournaments, and I certainly wouldn't do that.

I'm actually perfectly fine with emigration, but immigration and emigration came as a bundle package.

Thanks for the review, I enjoyed reading through it.

Somehow, legalizing slavery for dissidents reduced my ideological radicality by 5.4% and my authoritarianism by 11.6%.

To be fair, having slavery means that they aren't subject to the laws of the rest of your nationstate, they could have less laws, and due to them likely being less happy and having repetitive tasks, they aren't exactly being anarchist, along with there probably locally owned.
That was jumbled, but hopefully you get it, I can't stand to not correct things!

Ethnic nations

You're right, that was a bit jumbled, so I'm not sure what you mean in some parts.

Byzantium 1 wrote:To be fair, having slavery means that they aren't subject to the laws of the rest of your nationstate

I'm creating labor camps for political prisoners. You can bet they're still subject to my laws. This isn't Confederate-style private slavery.

Byzantium 1 wrote:due to them likely being less happy and having repetitive tasks, they aren't exactly being anarchist

Less anarchy=more authority, no? Why would my authoritarianism go down by that much?

When I see the law/policy, I assumed it was standard slavery, and not political campes, the game however doesn't interprit that way, so unfortunatly it happens, because this game could maybe use a bigger programing staff.

And when I said anarchist, i meant radical, because slavery doesn't exactly make an entire group radical when you take basically everything, depending on the type. Are you doing just forced labor for their crimes? or did you litterally just remove them from society?

Seems I missed your query earlier, it's been a few months.
All is well in the Union, no news is generally good news. How are things on your end?
