I couldn't agree with your comments more, Juskalherria and Jey. I have sent two letters to the moderators with the response being most displeasing. Belligerent, indeed. So I have contacted Mr. Barry himself. Hopefully, he can straighten this mess out.
You know, it wouldn't have been a big deal if we were dealt with at the time of the letter, but because of the time that has passed, I'd say this is just plain mean. You know, I've had several negative experiences with people in this game; it makes me wonder why I bother coming back.
Saying that, there was the suggestion of "Nations United" for a region name in the forum thread that Jey started. Still, I'd say let's hang on until at least 1/23/11 to really make decisions to see if I get a response from Mr. Barry. Feel free to contact him yourself as well.
