I mean this is a valley of peace, so RP wise you can solve this problem in a lot of ways instead of a military invasion, and if all else fails I support a Kung fu showdown at the jade palace.

Is this actually where THE Master Oogway resides?

New Question of the Day?

In Memory of Dragon Ball’s Akira Toriyama

Do you watch anime? And if so, which one is your favorite?

I grew up watching the original dragonball, and dragonball Z, and it was my favorite as a kid. I had a lot of good memories watching it, and talking about it with my friends. It was a sweet part of many of our childhoods.

My personal favorite is HunterXHunter, and Lately Made in Abyss, but Dragonball has a special place in my heart especially kid goku; he felt like a real good friend for me as a child, and I appreciate all the passion that went into a kids show. The man is a legend, he surely won't be forgotten.

I only started watching anime somewhat recently, but High School Ouran Host Club is probably my top favorite.

I love anime. Dragon Ball has always been one of if not my favorite series, and Toriyama's death hit me hard. RIP.

these days i find myself more into manga than anime, my favorite manga series are Kaiji, Shaman King (a series that has inspired some of the lore of Gongiyga) and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure--but i love a million others and picking definite favorites is difficult. I love all kinds of anime and manga. Probably in my top 3 artforms as a whole (manga/comics, music, and something else idk)

Why are so many people CTEing?

What is the general political preferences of the youth in your IC nation?

Youth in Shawrmastan typically live a very laidback (privileged and productive) life, the government provides them innovative services for their well-being. Which means they’re quite satisfied (no rebellion) and instead look to religion to fulfil themselves spiritually.

So overall, moderately conservative, capitalist with a fine sprinkle of backup socialism.
Albeit voter apathy is pretty high.

It’s because we’ve finally converted back to a governorship so this is expected because by relinquishing our status as a frontier naturally we don’t receive spawns but rather have to go to the daily recruitment methods as the alternative to gaining new nations. Personally speaking, however, the number of WA Members in a region is a good metric to use for the current state of a region (though not always the universal measure).

New Question of the Day

What’s your opinion on the sentiment of the UN’s non-interventionist approach in regard to global conflicts?

I don't know
I forgot U.N. could do that.

I only feel that Myanmar and Haiti could be helped to restore their democracy. Bangladesh deserves to not be sink into the Water and not being forced to give it's natural gas to near countries.

Haiti would need more help, I wonder, because after UN retreat, Haiti fell apart, last time.

I would like a non war way to help Myanmar ( and Bangladesh), and I think it would need more effort from all countries nearby and from far away in order to achieve peaceful solution.

Edit: U.N. seems to help people to have and to produce food, having acess to healthcare, education, place to live, etc. It does have special departments to care about childrem, woman, refugees. They do not make it only in dire situations like war and disasters, but also in peace times. They also seem to help people in vulnerable situation.

In short, they have intervention lines.

The UN is practically just a fancy competition where people speak and debate. That’s it.

In conflicts, it does exactly that; speak with no action.

Also it’s obviously a Western-run institute, and it enacts their agendas. Countless cases.

I think that the Organization of American States is the appropriate international body to intervene in Haiti. The OAS intervened in the adjacent Dominican Republic in the past via the Inter-American Peace Force. The same thing should be done with Haiti. Eather that, or compel the French to aid their former colony, since they planted the original seeds from which the current anarchy has grown.

We need a way for more people to join...

I could not have said it better myself. I thought about writing about the same thing but decided against it after writing like two paragraphs, but you said it much clearer than i could have. you're so real for this one

Join in aiding Haiti? I think the Catholic Charities are organizing relief efforts. You could volunteer.

I think that he meant join the region.
We could again convert to into a Frontier, or just launch a major recruitment effort. The recruitment on RMB's is now prohibited, so all that is left is word of mouth to friends, or buying lots of telegraph stamps.

do we really need more nations in here anyway? I don't mind the valley being slightly smaller. I especially like when the RMB is actual discussion instead of like 30 'hi im new i just started' messages in a row. we seem pretty good as is!

I really don't have a preference. Maybe the regional officers could decide, or just run a poll to see what the consensus of the region is.

You don't need stamps to send recruitment telegrams. There are a lot of programs that allow for automated, or semi-automated, recruitment or recruitment telegrams via the NationStates API.

You can also go very old school and just watch the world happenings and when you see a new nation spawn you send them a recruitment telegram.

I don't recommend doing any of this without consulting with the regional government however.

To be fair I like being able to look away and not have 5000 new messages on the RMB. Even if I only lurk on it.
