Breaking News: Mythical creature rumored to have returned in Odinburgh
The mythical painted mountain serpent has rumored to have returned last night as a family was camping in the Hel Canyon area and found their bodies along the river. The only survivor was their 2 year old son and we've contacted the baby's grandparents. We are not sure why the creature of myth avoided the baby. The painted mountain serpent is a poisonous snake bigger than the green anaconda that is 45 feet long.

Prime Minister Sasha Taragino Announces controversial Plan to Become Closer with the Vienna Pact
-ROMANIC CITY, ITALIAN IMPERUIM, Today Prime Minister Sasha Taragino announced that she wished to form closer ties with the Vienna Pact. This has become very controversial with citizens. Some support putting the bad blood in the past to work together with the Vienna Pact, while others support Forming closer ties to rebuild both the Italian Imperium and the Nations that were affected within the Vienna Pact, While On the opposite side their are citizens who completely oppose the move and are calling for the country to form close ties with nations such as Staider, over anger at nations such as the Evergreen republic and others over their role in destroying the economy and destroying many live. Citizens have taken to the streets to protest this. What little police their is are their to make sure the protest don't turn to riots.

Evergreen Republic to Deploy 25K RAF Special Forces to Jersey, Romanic Imperium
Following mass protests in Romanic Imperium due to the PM's announcement that the nation will seek closer ties with the Vienna Pact, the Dux has authorized up to 25,000 RAF special forces to arrive in Jersey, near the Evergreen exclave of Qiaxalan, to assist PM Sasha Taragino's efforts to maintain security. The troops will take up positions in the former Jersey Air Field, formerly maintained by RAF forces during the Second Romanic War.
The Evergreen Republic said they offered to send troops to 
Romanic Imperium following concerns that the nation would once again plunge into chaos. "These forces will help to maintain security in Western Romanic and will assist in the construction of highways connecting Jersey to the Evergreen Republic to bolster the city's rebuilding efforts and increase humanitarian supplies. The Dux said the forces will work closely with the Romanic PM and will remain under control of 
New Bradfordsburg. They are not to have any contact with troops from 
Staidear, according to the Evergreen Department of Defense.

Just out of curiosity, would there be support to breaking apart large areas of land that are owned by not very active nations? This si a very tentative idea, but I kinda think it's unfair that some nations that don't do very much have such large landmasses.

Nationale Republik to send 50,000 Strategic Forces to Romanic Imperium.
As protests ravage Romanic Imperium it has been reported that Chancellor Acwulf Schulz has approved the sending of 50,000 Strategic Forces personnel to Romanic Imperium, specifically Romanic City, to assist the Romanic Government and allied personnel. “Peace and security are our mission, nothing more,” Schulz assured. He also expressed his hope that this gesture is accepted. Wachsam, Salzburg and Shoggoth’s Rest will be providing the needed assistance to maintain peace and security inside the embattled country.

ROMANIC CITY, ITALIAN IMPERIUM- With the news of Evergreen and Nationale Republik soldiers bound for The country protests have grown in size and strength, outside the Prime Minister's office a large crowd of Anti-Vienna pact and Pro-Communist protesters have gathered. Some protesters have been sighted carrying weapons. The Military has been called in and are keeping watch on the crowds, despite some protesters carrying weapons their have not been arrests due to the fact that to arrest a person with a weapon for no reason would be a violation of the constitution. The possibility of a riot is growing......

A speech made in Parliament today, where a member of the left-wing Hatzburg National Workers’ Party slammed 
New Nationale Einheit has made headlines across Hatzburg. An extract of the speech is available below.

STAIDEAR TO DEPLOY PEACEKEEPING FORCES TO ROMANIC COASTAL CITIES
The Central Military Commission has come to a deal with the Romanic government to deploy a contingent of 25,000 peacekeepers to coastal territories. Their mission will be to provide humanitarian aid, prevent excessive unrest, and ensure ER deployments do not attempt to take advantage of any situations that arise.

Many of the communists that once fled to the Evergreen Republic seem to have made their way back to Romanic in some capacity or another. They were granted asylum at the border at the end of the last war.
