The mechanicus

LOCATION: RED STAR SYSTEM - SEGMENTUM SOLAR
DATE: EARTH YEAR 2075 - EARTH MONTH DECEMBER
FLEET CONCERNED: SECOND EXPLORATOR FLEET

The void war was coming to a close, and the forces of the Adeptus Mechanicus had crushed their enemies, crippling their fleets while they were distracted, while the weapons of the Machine God blew their ships into space dust. The forces of the Skitarii, launched from the Destroyers that had allowed them to board the ships of the traitors under the guidance of the Omnissiah and the blessed data of the Auspex, which allowed them to detect and target enemy power supplies, and search for STC parts of other such technological relics. However, none of these STCs or archaeotech relics were found on board, with the Chaos ships having been stripped clean of any non-corrupted data many years ago. However Chaos scrapcode tried to interfere with the blessed data of the Machine God's transmissions between Skitarii and their Techpriest masters onboard their ships, but nevertheless, victory was assured at this point. Once the Skitarii boarders found nothing of use or stripped down the crews of the ships, they would charge the reactors to the point of detonation, the Chaos crewmen onboard being no match for the steel tide of the Sktiarii, who had already led a major effort to neutralize leadership and break enemy chokepoints with Vanguard forces. The forces on the ships would evacuate themselves and their machines, who would be transported out from the Chaos ships via transport as they shook themselves apart, the forces of the explosions taking place within the hull crippling the vessels and causing major damage to their structures before those structures would inevitably collapse. Sometimes the ships would destroy themselves before all units could make it off the ships, but most of the larger vehicles were evacuated due to their proximity to the cargobay, and much of the Skitarii survived, their war-cohorts escaping the destruction of the vessels as they travelled back to their own destroyers. Any losses made could be easily replaced by the fleet once they could return to the Forge World, although many of the material losses could be regained through the Goliath Class Forge Ships, which had production outputs to match entire Hive Worlds when amassed in large enough numbers, and could consume star systems of resources if needed. However, these ships had fulfilled their purpose in rebuilding the losses of the Skitarii well, and soon enough, vehicles and weapons were in the excess once more, for the STCs of many vehicles and weapons were extremely easy to replicate, especially vehicles like the Dunecrawler, which had been made by the millions, although potentially billions by the current time throughout the history of the Mechanicum and Adeptus Mechanicus. The Light Cruisers which made up the higher part of the fleet allowed their escort fighters to dock, and their weapons to cool and reload, before heading towards the Achainian fleet, hailing them in the process, calling out "The Machine God's inventions have served us well, we are blessed by the Omnissiah before these cursed abominations of heresy. We head to purge the planet of all traitors and hereteks. Our fleets converge." The war in the void was over, and the forces of the Omnissiah had a large victory over their enemies, although it would've been even more catastrophic for the traitors had the Ark Mechanicus showed up, for ships of that type have the potential to eliminate an entire fleet's worth of ships.

The battling for the Blackstone Fortresses closer to the planet was going well for the forces of the anti-Chaos coalition, and once the 2nd Explorator Fleet had moved in to engage their targets alongside the Achainians, the battle was already over, macrocannon fire cut through the dark void like a knife through hot butter, and the lances melted the Chaos escort force which was already battered by the Achainian weapons coming from nearby, yet also a long distance, considering void conflict however, long distance engagements were normal. The Skitarii forces already steeled by their conflict onboard the other Chaos voidcraft were now preparing to board their transport craft to land onboard the impenetrable fortresses and defeat the enemy there. Any techpriests sent alongside the force were to be told NOT to perform any kind of research on Xenotech that may be on board the station, for the mechanism of the Xeno is a abhorrent ruin of the True Path of machinery laid out by the Machine God. Using Omnispex and other sensors would be sufficient, the Adeptus Mechanicus of the 41st Millennium conformed to what the Imperium said about the Blackstone Fortresses, although we know them to be Xenotech and thus heretical. Once the Skitarii had also boarded alongside the Achainians, they would come as a steel tide behind Onager Dunecrawlers and Vanguard forces to crush the heretical line. Skitarii Rangers and Sicarian Ruststalkers and Infiltrators would engage in their classical tactic of severing the heads of enemy forces, with Rangers using their long range prowess to target and annihilate frontline leadership, and Sicarians moving around the station quickly and lethally, silencing any enemies that would get in their ways. Forces of the Space Marines legions would be forced to look on as the lightning of a properly executed Skitarii strike pushed aside the enemy and cut them up, splitting up a once cohesive force into multiple smaller ones, herded by Vanguards who were cutting through the traitor lines and causing even further splits while the Rangers caused chaos (against Chaos) by eliminating enemy leadership and crippling their ability to fight back against the onslaught of anti-traitor forces currently in combat against the enemy. Dataflows streamed in Cant Mechanicus as information was sent back and forth between the battlefield and the command, and the forces of the Omnissiah annihilated their enemies as the holy language of the Machine God spread their message amongst the heretic traitors on their hour of death, and also to the Achainian force nearby, to teach them of the power and glory of the Machine God and the Omnissiah, who lead the Adeptus Mechanicus against their enemies in the hereteks and lead them to achieve comprehension to elevate themselves above those who are just organic machines.
