Overview
The Cabrera-Bretodeau FB2 was an early Corindi transonic fighter-bomber manufactured by the newly consolidated Cabrera-Bretodeau corporation between 1952 and 1956. The FB2 had a simple general arrangement, being one of the first Corindi jet aircraft to be specifically developed to fly attack missions. From the outset of the design process, it was designed to allow for good support for the installation of electronic warfare and weapons systems. The aircraft could be armed with a total of four 25 mm cannon, as well as wing pylons for various calibers of rockets and assorted bombs as were deemed necessary. During its long operational life, the FB2 also served as an electronic warfare platform and target-tug aircraft.
