The Imperial Giant Stirs

Inquisitive forces have mobilized across the Empire, taking control of Imperial Mines and refineries, causing production of steel and oil to both increase by 36%. Most civilian factories have been converted into militant ones, producing arms and artillery shells for any coming conflict. Recruitment centers across the nation are overwhelmed with those loyal to the Empire, this marks the second major recruitment surge since the tensions of 1880. Emperor Francis VI has convened the Congress of Province, a gathering of all provincial governors. Some speculate this meeting was to prepare the provincial defenses, while also inciting an infrastructure surge.

In other news, the largest cargo ships of the Empire have been mobilized to the northern seas and the Imperial Corridor. These ships were spotted being escorted by fleets of armed Imperial Naval Vessels, while carrying large steel fortress-like structures. Little is known about what they are doing or about what these structures are. The following is a statement from Emperor Francis VI:

"Tensions across the globe are high, as they should be. But let me assure those that wish to undermine either my position or the global position of the Empire, The Motherland does not stand alone. We stand with allies, and with Mars himself. Let this be a warning to all, be very wary, and make the right decisions. If you want your people to be safe, I recommend you make careful, thought out, and wise decisions. The sun will never set on the Antarcticaon Empire."
