Region: The Confederacy of Free Nations

Yiddish nederland wrote:What is the political climate like in your nation? In Yiddland there is some tension between the traditionalist Jews and Progressive Jews and in more rural places tension between the Jewish majority and the gentile (usually folk-christian.) Minority. But overall, Yiddland is a very, Progressive, liberal place. Also the many political parties can never really agree on anything.

Nurem is very liberal and progressive, very left-wing in social and economic issues. Politics is predominantly dominated by people from the western part of the nation, however which is a lot more secular and European in outlook and appearance. The further and more distant you get from the capital and western regions, the more detached people feel from government. They also get a bit annoyed because with how politics and culture is dominated by westerners, they feel unrepresented, or that everybody believes all Norsk are like that. They also sometimes feel looked down upon by the westerners.
