The morning sun spilled through the hospital windows. When Death arrived, the swirling portal that heralded his entrance dissipated as quickly as it appeared, leaving him standing in the sterile white of the hospital hallway. The door before him twisted faintly at its edges, responding to his presence, but when he stepped inside, the sight of Lena stopped him cold.

She lay in the bed, her small frame bruised and cut, her face turned stubbornly toward the wall. Her expression was blank but betrayed a deep well of pain. She heard the door open but didn’t turn to greet him. Instead, she simply muttered:

“Go away.”

Death blinked, his calm mask faltering. “But—”

“Go!” she snapped, her voice sharp, shaking with anger. Finally, she turned her head, her eyes blazing as she glared at him. “You were there, weren’t you? Last night! You watched it happen. You let that man—the one I called my father—kill them! The two people who actually cared for me! And you—” her voice cracked, “—I thought you cared too. But no. You must have stood there, just waiting for my death. Like it’s all some kind of game to you!”

Death didn’t reply. He stayed rooted in place, his hand absently drifting to his pocket. Slowly, he pulled out a cigarette, lit it, and took a long, silent drag. The smoke curled in the air between them as his glasses caught the light, hiding the expression in his eyes.

“You served no purpose,” Lena spat. “You lied. You didn’t protect me. You failed.”

Her words cut deeper than she could know. Death didn’t flinch, didn’t defend himself. He simply turned, pushing off the wall where he’d been leaning. His footsteps echoed as he walked out of the room, his coat trailing behind him. He didn’t look back.

At 9:56, Death appeared at the doorstep of John Hammerman’s house. The air around him crackled faintly as his frustration, regret, and fury simmered beneath his calm facade. This wasn’t routine. This wasn’t work. This was something more.

Hammerman had just gotten up to grab a drink from the fridge when Death materialized behind him. The man stumbled slightly, his hand brushing against Death’s unseen form.

“What the hell?” Hammerman muttered, looking around.

Death’s foot slammed into the man’s chest, sending him sprawling to the floor. He landed with a thud, blinking in confusion. “Who’s there?” he barked, scrambling to his feet.

Death made himself visible then, his form shifting as his hair spiked into jagged white streaks and his eyes burned crimson. The room seemed to darken around him.

“What the f###?” Hammerman gasped, stumbling backward, his panic mounting as he tried to process what he was seeing.

Death didn’t wait for him to catch his breath. With a sharp kick, he sent the man flying through the window. Glass shattered around him as he tumbled onto the lawn outside, groaning in pain. He tried to push himself up, but Death was already standing over him, his presence looming and suffocating.

“Does this remind you,” Death growled, his voice low and seething, “of the glass shards you imbedded in them?”

Hammerman froze, his mind racing to connect the dots. Before he could speak, Death vanished again, only to reappear behind him. The man screamed as he looked at his right arm—or rather, where it had been. Blood dripped onto the grass, and his severed arm hung limply from Death’s jaws.

Death spat the arm out, his crimson eyes narrowing. “It’s damn depressing,” he muttered, his voice detached, almost tired. Then, he was airborne, twisting sideways as he drove his knee into the side of Hammerman’s head crushing the mans skull. The force sent the man tumbling across the yard, but Death wasn’t done.

A bone-white mask with jagged teeth snapped into place over Death’s face, covering his mouth and nose. It gave him a more monstrous appearance, one that matched the terrifying energy emanating from him. Death blurred forward, his movements unnaturally fast, as he unleashed a relentless assault of kicks. One sent Hammerman flying into the air, another higher still, until the man was 40 feet above the ground.

Death’s aura flared red around his feet as he followed, rising effortlessly. His crazed, glowing eyes locked onto his prey as he delivered a dropkick, slamming Hammerman back to earth with a thunderous crash. The ground cratered beneath the impact, dust and debris flying in all directions.

Death landed softly a few feet away, the mask peeling away from his face and disintegrating into the air. He didn’t look at the broken man left groaning in the dirt. Without a word, he turned and walked away, leaving Hammerman to his pain and the weight of his sins.

REGRET is what he would later feel.

The hospital room was quiet, save for the faint hum of machinery monitoring Lena’s condition. Death sat in the chair beside her bed, silent and still, his crimson eyes dull and contemplative. Lena turned away from him, her face still streaked with the remnants of her tears. She had barely spoken to him since the incident, and the tension between them hung heavy in the air.

“Why are you still here?” Lena finally asked.

Death sighed, leaning forward with his elbows resting on his knees. “Because I owe you something, Lena. Something I can’t ignore.”

She didn’t respond, keeping her gaze fixed on the wall. He continued, his voice softer this time. “Hammerman won’t hurt anyone again. He’s alive—but just barely. He’ll face justice for what he did. The authorities have him now.”

Lena turned to look at him, her eyes narrowing. “And my foster parents? You didn’t protect them either. What good are you if you just... watch people die?”

Death reached into his coat pocket and withdrew something faintly glowing. Two tiny orbs of light, softly pulsating, floated above his palm. Lena’s breath hitched as she recognized them—her foster parents’ souls. She had seen those lights before, but never thought she’d see the people she cared about again.

“I couldn’t save them,” Death admitted, his voice heavy with regret. “But I can give you a chance to say goodbye.”

The orbs hovered briefly, then swirled together, reforming into the spectral shapes of her foster parents. Transparent and ethereal, they smiled warmly at Lena, who immediately burst into tears. “Mom... Dad...” she whispered, reaching out.

They couldn’t touch her, but their voices were clear and comforting. They spoke gently, reassuring her, urging her to forgive herself and move forward. For the first time since the tragedy, Lena felt a glimmer of peace.

When the souls faded, Lena turned back to Death. Her anger had cooled. “Thank you,” she said quietly. “But why? You didn’t have to do that.”

“I did,” Death replied. “Because you were right. I failed you. And I’ll probably fail again. But I’m trying.” He stood, brushing his coat off as if preparing to leave. “That’s what matters, isn’t it? Trying.”

Before Lena could respond, Death hesitated, his expression darkening. “But there’s something you need to know. I broke a rule, Lena. A big one. The Soul Society—they govern my existence. They enforce the balance between life and death. Returning your foster parents’ souls... it wasn’t my decision to make.”

Lena tilted her head, confused. “So, what does that mean?”

“It means,” Death said, his voice grave, “they’ll come after me. To punish me. Maybe worse.”

Lena sat up, her brow furrowing. “Then I’m coming with you.”

Death blinked, startled. “No. You’re not. This isn’t your fight.”

“It is now,” Lena insisted. “You said I could be your successor, didn’t you? If that’s true, then I need to understand this world you’ve dragged me into. I need to know what you’re up against.”

Death shook his head, half-exasperated and half-amused. “You’re stubborn. I’ll give you that.”

“Then it’s settled,” Lena said, crossing her arms. “You’re not leaving me behind.”

After a long pause, Death sighed, a small smirk tugging at the corner of his lips. “Fine. But you’d better be ready, kid. The Soul Society doesn’t play nice.”

He extended a hand, and Lena hesitated for only a moment before taking it. With a flick of his wrist, he opened a swirling portal, emerald light spilling into the room.

“Let’s go,” Death said, stepping through the portal.

As they disappeared into the glowing void, the hospital room fell silent once more. This was just the beginning of something far larger than either of them could predict. The Soul Society would come, and when they did, Death and Lena would face them together.

As they stepped further into the odd, vibrant world, Lena couldn’t help but marvel at the magenta sky above and the bustling towns below. The place seemed alive, yet otherworldly. People—some looking entirely human, others adorned with features like horns, glowing eyes, or even translucent bodies—moved about as though this was just an ordinary day. Death’s transformation caught her attention, his hair shifting to a stark white, his entire presence more striking and imposing.

“Why’d you transform?” Lena asked.

“To blend in. It’s part of my professional identity,” Death replied, his tone casual as though this was something everyone did. He reached out, and the two foster parent souls appeared, swirling together into a single, glowing form. Then, to Lena’s shock, Death did something that seemed impossible—he reached into himself, his chest shimmering as though reality itself wavered, and pulled out a red orb.

“This,” Death said, holding the glowing sphere aloft, “is a soul I absorbed. When someone’s irredeemable—violent, dangerous, corrupt—I take their soul and make it part of me. That’s how I gain power, how I transform. Watch closely, kiddo. You’ll do this too, starting with your foster parents.”

He pressed the orb in his hand, consolidating it into a smaller, denser form before pushing it into his chest. His body rippled for a moment, his aura glowing faintly brighter. “Simple and easy,” he said, brushing his hands off as if it were no big deal. “For you, though, it’s different. Listening to souls crying out might bring some peace. Your foster parents might even give you advice. That’s the bonus.”

Lena’s eyes widened. “You want me to... take in my foster parents’ souls?”

“They’re willing, and it’ll help you grow stronger. Trust me. You’re not taking away who they were. You’re carrying them with you.”

Uneasy but willing to try, Lena nodded. She stepped forward, reaching out to the combined soul of her foster parents. At first, when she tried to absorb it, the soul bounced off her like a rubber ball. She furrowed her brow, focusing harder. Death stood to the side, arms crossed, watching with quiet patience.

“Feel it, don’t force it,” Death instructed. “They’re part of you, Lena. Let them in.”

This time, when Lena extended her hand, the soul flowed into her. For a brief second, the magenta world shattered, leaving her floating in a void. The air around her filled with light and the faint sounds of voices, familiar and comforting. The diamond shapes that adorned Death’s form appeared around her too, but they glowed a soft white-yellow, contrasting with his fiery red. Her pink hair shimmered, fading into a more natural blonde hue as a warmth filled her chest.

Lena blinked as the magenta world reformed around her, and she felt... different. Stronger. Her foster parents’ voices still echoed faintly in her mind, whispering words of love and guidance. She touched her chest, where the warmth lingered, and looked to Death, who was smirking faintly.

“You’ve got potential, kid,” Death said. “But keep in mind—this is just the beginning. You’ll need a lot of souls to sustain that kind of power, or—” He paused, his smirk growing slightly wider. “—one really strong soul.”

Lena gave him a skeptical look. “Are you saying I’m going to have to... what? Absorb some kind of super-soul?”

“Maybe,” Death said with a shrug. “Or maybe you’ll surprise me and find another way. You’re already doing better than most would on their first try.”

Lena looked at her hands, flexing her fingers as if testing her newfound strength. “This feels... weird. But also... right. Like they’re still with me.”

“They are,” Death said, his tone softening for the first time. “And they always will be. That’s the real power of what we do. It’s not about the transformations or the strength. It’s about carrying the ones who matter.”

Lena nodded, a small smile forming on her lips. For the first time since the tragedy, she felt like she wasn’t alone. And as the two of them prepared to face whatever the Soul Society had in store, she felt a growing determination to prove she was more than just Death’s apprentice.

As Death and Lena made their way through the vibrant, bustling streets of this strange realm, children played nearby, their laughter cutting through the air. Guards clad in dark armor patrolled the area, their spears glinting ominously under the magenta sky. Death glanced at the guards and muttered, "Lay low. We don’t need trouble right now."

Lena nodded, following closely behind. Just as they passed a group of children, one of them misjudged a kick, sending a ball flying directly into the side of a guard’s helmet. The loud clang echoed through the street, and the guard stopped abruptly, his face twisting with anger.

“Who threw that?!” the guard barked, his voice like gravel. The children froze, fear written all over their faces. The youngest, a boy no older than eight, shakily raised his hand.

“I-I didn’t mean to,” the boy stammered.

“Didn’t mean to?!” The guard stormed over, towering over the child. “You think this is a game?! Do you know what happens to people who assault guards?!”

The boy’s lip quivered as the guard reached for him. Before Death could stop her, Lena stepped forward.

“That’s enough,” she said firmly.

The guard turned his glare to her. “Stay out of this, outsider.”

Lena clenched her fists. “He’s just a kid. You don’t need to scare him like that.”

The guard’s sneer deepened. “Oh? And what’s a brat like you going to do about it?”

In a flash, Lena darted forward, twisting her body into a whirlwind kick aimed straight for the guard’s head. The guard, quicker than he looked, raised his spear and blocked her attack with a loud clang.

“Bold,” the guard snarled, shoving her back. “But foolish.” He lunged, his spear aimed directly at her. Lena braced herself, but before the attack could land, Death was suddenly there.

Death’s foot connected with the guard’s face, sending him sprawling to the ground. Before the second guard could react, Death spun and drove a devastating punch into his liver. The man crumpled with a groan, his spear slipping from his grasp as he fell.

The street fell silent, save for the faint clang of the guards’ weapons hitting the ground. Death stood over them, his glasses reflecting the light. He straightened his coat, turning to Lena, his voice calm but firm.

“What part of ‘lay low’ didn’t you understand?” he asked.

Lena crossed her arms, defiant. “He was going to hurt the kid.”

Death sighed, running a hand through his hair. “I get it, but this isn’t the time to be a hero. These guards aren’t like the people in your world. They don’t just yell—they kill.”

The boy and the other children stared in awe, but Death waved them off. “Go home, all of you. Don’t get caught up in this.”

The children scattered, leaving Death and Lena alone in the street with the unconscious guards. Death glanced at the two fallen figures, then back at Lena.

“Next time,” he said, his tone softening slightly, “let me handle it. You’ve got guts, but you’re not ready for what this place can throw at you.”

Lena frowned but nodded. “Fine. But you can’t expect me to just stand by and do nothing.”

Death smirked faintly. “Fair enough. But at least give me a heads-up next time, so I can make it look cool.”

As Death and Lena prepared to leave, the sound of synchronized footsteps echoed through the street. Ten more guards stormed in, their armor clinking as they encircled the duo. Their spears glinted with an eerie, otherworldly energy.

“Here we go again,” Death muttered. In an instant, he vanished, reappearing behind one of the guards. With a fluid motion, he grabbed the man’s face and slammed it into the ground with such force that the stone cracked beneath him, leaving the guard unconscious.

Meanwhile, Lena transformed. Her hair shimmered with the soft blonde hue from before, her movements fluid and swift. She leaped toward one of the guards, her momentum carrying her above the ground as her foot connected with the guard’s stomach. The sheer force of her kick caused a shockwave to ripple outward, blasting the man through the air and into the wall of a nearby house. The structure groaned from the impact as debris scattered.

“Alright! I did it!” Lena exclaimed with a triumphant grin.

Her celebration was short-lived. Another guard stepped in and slapped her across the face, sending her staggering. Before the guard could follow up, Death was there. His hand shot out, grabbing the man’s wrist with a bone-crunching sound. The guard let out a howl of pain, but Death silenced it with a sharp punch to the back. The man collapsed like a ragdoll.

The remaining guards hesitated for a moment before lunging. Death stepped forward calmly, his aura darkening as his hair rose even more spikily, glowing faintly with white energy.

The first guard thrust his spear, but Death sidestepped with ease. His hand moved like a whip, striking the man’s neck in a precise motion. The guard’s body went limp, dropping to the ground.

The next two guards charged simultaneously. Death crouched, sweeping his leg in a low arc. The move toppled both men, and before they could recover, he delivered a crushing downward kick to each of their helmets, knocking them unconscious.

Three guards rushed him from behind, but Death leapt into the air with incredible speed. His figure blurred as he twisted mid-flight, delivering a spinning kick that sent all three sprawling to the ground. Their spears clattered uselessly on the cobblestones.

The final two guards hesitated, clearly shaken. One raised his spear in a last-ditch effort, but Death was faster. He lunged, his fist crackling with red energy as he punched the spear, snapping it in half. He then grabbed the guard by the collar and hurled him into his companion. The two collided with a resounding crash, crumpling in a heap.

Dust settled around them as Death straightened his coat, his hair returning to its usual form. He turned to Lena, who was rubbing her cheek where she had been slapped.

“You okay?” he asked.

She nodded, a bit sheepishly. “Yeah… thanks.”

Death smirked. “You’re improving. Just… celebrate after the fight’s over next time.”

Lena huffed but managed a small smile. “Noted.”

“Let’s move before reinforcements show up,” Death said, glancing at the growing crowd of onlookers. Without another word, the two vanished into the shadows, leaving the guards groaning in the street.

The Rj805serian KGB and RIA issued a firm statement doubling down on their long-standing belief that the redundancy of numerous intelligence agencies serves only to muddle operations and dilute effectiveness.

The КГБ (Komitet Gosudarstvennoy Bezopasnosti):
As the cornerstone of counterintelligence within Rj805sere, the KGB emphasized its capability to handle all internal threats, ensuring no infiltration or subversion jeopardizes national stability. “Why rely on a fragmented network of competing agencies when one unified body can operate with precision and clarity?” a senior KGB officer remarked.

The РИА (Rj805serian Intelligence Agency):
Responsible for foreign intelligence, the RIA asserted that their streamlined structure is more than sufficient to address international espionage, surveillance, and diplomacy. “Having a single agency focused on global matters eliminates inefficiency and ensures a clear chain of command,” stated an RIA spokesperson.

Both agencies argued that nations with multiple intelligence bodies, such as Furyast, are bogged down by bureaucratic hurdles, inter-agency rivalries, and leaks. By contrast, Rj805sere’s centralized approach embodies discipline, operational secrecy, and cost efficiency, delivering superior results without the chaos of overlapping jurisdictions.

Their conclusion: Rj805sere doesn't need a dozen acronyms to protect its interests when two agencies—unified and uncompromising—can handle the task with unparalleled expertise.

The government of Rj805sere accepts Arcomenia's investment and proposes the formation of a trade bloc to ensure secure trade and mutual economic growth. Given the significance of this partnership, parliament suggests that the establishment of diplomatic relations be prioritized to solidify cooperation. This initiative also acknowledges the reunification of three-fourths of Rj805sere which is in desire Rj805sere is known more democratically then reactionary.

Rj805sere proposes that the trade bloc encompass all sectors of trade, including agriculture, technology, energy, manufacturing, and services, to maximize mutual economic benefits. Additionally, Rj805sere is open and highly encourages forming a military alliance with Arcomenia.

As a further suggestion, Rj805sere recommends expanding the trade bloc to include more nations, fostering a wider economic network and stronger geopolitical ties. It is up to Arcomenia, but Rj805sere prefers them to be not in terrible relation.

The KPA's revolt highlights internal tensions within Rj805sere as the Communist faction opposes the government's transition to a mixed economy. This dissent has spilled into the streets, with communist and socialist citizens staging widespread protests, demanding a stronger commitment to their ideology. The government's challenge lies in addressing these grievances while maintaining stability in the mixed system.

Behind the scenes, the KGB's covert operations aim to destabilize the New World colonies and sway their allegiances through bribery and sabotage. This strategy seeks to strengthen the KGB's influence and potentially secure allies.

Status of the Colonies in the New World:
New Rj805seria: Remains neutral, carefully navigating the turbulent political landscape.

Sarcabia: Also neutral, though its position may shift depending on unfolding events and external pressures.

Clacavia: Aligns with the 5th Reich, presenting a potential challenge to the KGB's operations and Rj805serean unity.

This fragmented political environment risks further instability if the government cannot reconcile the mixed economy with the KPA's demands. The KGB’s efforts, if exposed, could exacerbate these tensions or provoke an international backlash.

We believe this can deepen our diplomatic relations and help establish a future free and democratic Rj805sere in all it's past territory. Arcomenia would be interested in deepening economic relations with Rj805sere, but some requirements and conditions need to be met to proceed.

1. Technology Sharing:

2. Trade Bloc & Shared Currency:
Rj805sere fully supports the establishment of a shared Economic Bloc, emphasizing the SPA's recommendation to explore the potential for a shared currency. While not a priority, this idea could enhance trade efficiency and foster unity among member nations.

3. Military Alliance:
Rj805sere understands and respects Arcomenia's stance on avoiding military alliances. However, Rj805sere deeply values Arcomenia’s willingness to assist in the event of foreign aggression.

4. Parliamentary Representation:
The SPA proposes that nations at peace with Rj805sere, including Arcomenia and Josora, consider participation in Rj805sere's Parliament by putting forward their own political party or representatives. This would allow greater involvement in decision-making, fostering transparency and collaboration.

5. Josora's Inclusion:
