15,000 Crowns Golden Lilies encrusted with diamonds were offered as gifts to the leaders as they arrived.
3 million balloons were released.
As every members of the ruling families gathered in Lemon City International Airport, a zeppelin landed. It was be the mean of transportation for the first part of the day - an aerial view of Lemon City.
The Zeppelin landed near the Imperial Palace. The ruling families were expected inside the Museum for the first look at the exhibition prepared for opening on the 1st of June: Fabergé Eggs, paintings and sculptures, inside 7 m tall rooms.
As the leaders finish visit the museum, the 1st eating break was issued in the Amber Room. Similar to the IRL russian version, this room is completely made out of amber.
As they finish up eating, HRH Emperor Theodore I invited them across the street of the Imperial Palace to the National Opera to see the Ballet Royal de la Nuit. It was performed between 6pm and 6am.
The Hall is embellished in gold and various stones of different colours, mirrors and marble statues.
The Extravagant Court Spectacle had 45 entrees, 3 ballets within a ballet and 120 costumes changes. It featured mythological goddesses Venus and Diana and other fantastic creatures. The Emperor played as Apollo.
The 2nd day, before the ball, the guests received porcelain made tea sets with gold and sapphires in a porcelain made room. Then they proceeded to start visiting the Orangery, before stopping in front of a glass made palace - the ballroom.
As they entered, they saw thousands of crystal made flowers as they shine due to the _helios_.
As the clocks showed 6am once again, HRH Emperor Theodore I thanked everyone for their participation and offersed everyone a last gift: a krystal ball, which has inside a krystal flower, that will shine forever in different colours due to a small _helios_. The ball sits on a golden musical box, encrusted with pearls and rubys.
As a follow-up gift, HRH Emperor Theodore I sent each guest a smaller version of the Amber Room - only 2 sq ms, but very valuable and estimated at 25 million Crowns each.
Krystalveil spent 216,160,000 million Crowns on gifts alone (27,020,000 per nation). The total cost of this celebration was 600 million Crowns.
Krystalveil invites everyone to Diamondveil City, but not for the city itself, but the mountain near it. Or inside the mountain.
A marble Palais is built at the bottom of the former Volcano, gems adoring the relief.
Inside the Palais, the rooms have a combination between white and coloured marble, gems and silver. At the end of the "Front Rooms", the guests are expected into a 2nd Amber Room, this one being 2 times the one in the Imperial Palace and estimated at 2 billion Crowns.
A golden door leads to a 5 meter wide and 10 meter tall corridor, built inside the mountain in a gothic architecture. The walls have the same krysal flowers as seen before in Lemon City.
The gallery is 10 kms in length and displays statues and paintings. At the end of this is a golden door that leads to the cone of the vulcano.
The whole interior has been cleaned and the walls have been adorned with marble, amber and gold, statues and sculptures, gems, diamonds and krystals, that shine - the room is priceless.
Above everything, at about 30 kms (all the walls up to this point have the same design as below), there is a glass dome, that let's the sun enter the mountain.
The opening ceremony took place among various leaders and important people.
The new tour let the leaders roam free inside the mountain and the galleries.
HRH Emperor Theodore I waited his guests with a small statue of himself made out of marble, with a golden mask on its face and sapphires where the eyes should be.
When the leaders left, they received a Shell - that opens up to let a pearl fly 5 cm into the air, then a song starts to play as holographic figures start dancing around the pearl.

How do I become a Citizen? / What is the difference between WA and Non-WA membership?
All 10000 residents in the WA are citizens of 10000 Islands. Citizens are eligible to vote and run in various elections and hold certain government positions, where as non-WA members are not able to. Learn more about citizenship and 10000 Islands government in the regional government guide.
What is TITO? How do I join TITO?
The Ten-thousand Islands Treaty Organization or TITO is 10000 Islands' defender military. You can learn more about joining TITO here.
Does 10000 Islands have a map? How can I get added to the map?
Yes, 10000 Islands does have a map. You can view the map in this post or on the forum [url=https://10000islands.proboards.com/thread/37700/map-10000-islands]here.
To be added to the map, you need to register a forum account and have a minimum of ten posts over a period of one month.
You also must be a Citizen (WA resident) of 10000 Islands, with a national population of at least 250 Million.

What are Houses? / How do I join a House? / How do I found a House?
Houses are simply groups of nations recruited by the House founder and other House members. They're small communities within the larger forum community.
Recruited nations typically join the House of the nation that recruited them. If you've come across the region by some method other than an invitation telegram, then you should choose which House you wish to join yourself. To actually join a House, just post in the House's thread saying you want to join or send a message to the House's founder.
These are the requirements for founding a House:
1) Have a total of 6 months, consecutive or non-consecutive, in which the applicant has sent out a minimum of 500 TGs per month through the Accelerator.
2) Asking for the approval of the Minister of Immigration.
3) The Minister of Immigration will then bring the matter before the Council of Nine for a vote.
4) A majority vote in the Co9 will formally establish the rights of that nation to start their own House. Nations that do not get a majority vote in the Co9 the first time around will have to wait 30 days before submitting another House request.

What is the legislative process of this region? / How can I get onto the Council?
The Council of Nine is the legislative body of the Islands. Here legislation is written, passed, revised, and repealed. There is also a Senate Lobby, where you can bring matters to the attention of the Council.
There are 3 appointed, and 5 elected positions in the Council (the other is held by our Chief Executive). Elections occur every odd numbered month. Senators serve a 4-month term and the Delegate serves a 6-month term.
What is recruiting? How can I become a recruiter?
Recruiting is sending invitations to other nations. We use something called the Accelerator for ease of recruiting. Read here for more info.
What is a buddy / How can I get a buddy?
Buddies are volunteer nations who help new players learn about the NationStates game and the 10000 Islands region. After moving to 10000 Islands, you should receive a telegram from a Buddy and you are welcome to ask them questions!
What are endorsements? How do I get endorsements?
In order that Delegate transitions are more easily achieved, we limit endorsements to 1/2 the total of the sitting Delegate. Endorsement trading (aka "endo tarting") is OK up to this limit, but if you are over this limit at the time of Delegate transition, once every 6 months, you will be asked to shed your endorsements to get to this limit - or failing that, be temporarily booted from the region (which will cost you all of your endorsements). So mind this limit please.

The RMB (or Regional Message Board) is the common property of everyone in 10000 Islands. When posting on it, please observe these rules:
