1.I won't buy anything except for this, this year. Since I have only 600 mil left . All the other reforms will take place under 6 years.(America will sending advisors for 6 years) Also, I haven't increased my budget in a rp which is my fault and I am sorry for not doing it. But it's the 25/26 budget currently and the reason I missed making the budget is because I am working on an election first. Then I'll make budget addressing my economy but university has been hectic on me lately. (I promise to make a clear cut budget ) Also the recent increase of remittance (primary source for income for Bangladesh) is booming and solely holding the economy together. So I believe since an Economist is the head of state and the people are sending money to Bangladesh like crazy . I must have enough to slowly increase my military budget.
2. You have a good insight of Bangladesh despite being an outsider. My plan was to become self-sufficient in various factors one at a time. We have a rumour here that the Indian military and detective agency RAW used to influence Bangladesh armed forces (could be true) . So my plan is to slowly change the structure of my armed forces and modernize it to fight against India or Burma later down the line. That's why I am trying to buy PATRIOTS . It will in turn destroy India's former presence (since the new structure won't have Indian influence and it will be hand trained by the US meaning it will be modernized) . That's basically the plan.
3.About public opinion, though it might seem that PATRIOTS will be unpopular in Bangladesh at a first glance. But to be honest, Bangladesh's people think that the previous government was a blatant Indian puppet and is willing to do anything to "protect" itself against India . (India even tried to claim Bangladeshi Hindus as their citizens which created an uproar and have taken many other bad diplomatic steps recently).
You can definitely make a rp out of India threatening or accusing Bangladesh of destabilising the region ( I agree).
BNP (a major party) has funded terrorism in India (seven sisters) during it's reign from 2001-2006 . Currently the public opinion is swayed by BNP and Jamaat (islamic political party) . Jamaat is also anti-india. They helped the Pakistani commit genoc*** in Bangladesh and excused themselves by saying India made Bangladesh a puppet after the war. So yeah two main parties are anti-india. The students leaders also hate India because of the flooding and bad comments about Hindus being oppressed.
Since all major parties of Bangladesh don't like India and the general public hates Awami League and it's deals with India. I can safely say they'll accept the PATRIOTS.
Only Awami League supporting people or non-politically aware people will raise question about this. Since they are either anti-war or pro-india.
4. MNC means multinational corporations right? I don't know clearly but if it is then you are right that I'll take a small hit but this is because I want to diversify my economy.
