I have no idea what that is lol, but all I know is that In-N-Out has some of best fries ever

With all due respect, hell nah. Maybe I went on a bad day, in Oxnard, CA, but them fries were floppy and dry

Steak-N-Shake is a local Indiana chain, but I'm pretty sure there's some around the lower midwest

Ah, your first mistake was going to Oxnard lol. No but seriously I have no idea how you got such bad fries lol, the ones I go to are cripy and delicious! (And you have to add salt on the fries yourself)

I'll give it another try when I go back to the West Coast. Also is Oxnard like a meme? We just stopped by on our way from la to sf, but I feel like I've heard it being trashed on online

I can compliment the West Coast on Korean food in LA (some here in Indiana, but nowhere near the quality), Del Taco, and everything, especially the Chinese in San Francisco.

Nah, but us Californians are very intolerant to neighboring cities lol.

Oh yeah, Chinese food here is very good, I have actually been meaning to go to china town to buy some food.

I absolutely loved the Bay Area, my parents lived there for a while, going there made me wish I was born in an alternate universe where they stayed.

I had some outstanding dim sum in South San Francisco at a place called Grand Palace, and then later a good one in Chinatown. Both were substantially better than anything I've had in Indy

I missed the west coast east coast beef but we all know philly cheesesteaks are supreme

I won't argue with that, but if you ever find yourself in Indiana, try a pork tenderloin sandwich. Pretty similar to wiener schnitzel, but with an American flair. It's absolutely the "national dish" of Indiana, and you find it everywhere here

My mom is a Sephardic Jew from the US and my dad is an Ashkenazi from Israel

Sephardic are the Spanish-speaking Jewish people who are the descendants of victims from the Spanish inquisition, and mainly went to North Africa, the middle east, and the Balkans. Ashkenazis are the predominant Europeans in the US.
