I actually watched more cartoons before school as a kid than I did on Saturdays. X-Men and Sailor Moon, a good little variety lol.

In the weekends my parents had a hard time prying me away from the TV until the cartoons are over. Even after if there were shows with conflicting schedules. The VCR was my best friend. Watch one and record the other. Too bad there are times when more than two shows were in conflict. I only had one VCR after all.
Evenings where it was at for me, I'm old enough to have watched Toonami while it was strong. Thanks to DBZ I began looking for more anime to watch. So glad streaming services popped up. Stopped me from downloading like music from Napster.

Hello Anime. I've been in Nationstates and I think also this region for so many years now (at least 7 for NS), on and off cos I seem to forget to keep my nation alive every so often, but I don't think in all the years I've been here I've ever said hi. So Hi from me.
Kingdom is prob my personal favorite right now, I wish they would start animating the manga again, stopping at 2 seasons is a shame.
Would it be possible to make a new map of Anime?
A lot of nations didn't choose their spot, it could be a fun thing to revisit...

Ah, a proper regional map has always been my dream, but has always had limited support. With nations rising and falling, it's hard to keep it up to date. I'm happy to re-do it like I did before. There is the question of whether to make a fictional one, use a global map, or use one of Japan. Personally, I prefer a map of Japan, though in terms of size it won't be exactly accurate to our populations/land size. I guess I could update it regularly, perhaps even have a correspondence of time, like 1 month = 1 year. What y'all think?
That sounds like a great idea. I agree with using a map of Japan as well.
I prefer fictional maps. And Anime as a planet with other regions their own planets.
If we did a Japan map wouldn't everyone want to be located Tokyo? Probably right on top of Akihabara.

If we're doing Japan, I'd like the Kuril Islands. Not technically Japan, actually a part of Russia, but they're right off Hokkaido...
So I'm going to do an experiment and make a map of Japan and surrounding region, but instead of it being the true landforms, I'll use other islands/landmasses from around the world and have it end up looking relatively similar. So for example, there'll still be a Hokkaido, Honshu, Shikoku and Kyushu, but they'll look different to normal. I'm also thinking of turning the Korean peninsula into Florida. I'll provide a link to it on imgur once done and the region can provide feedback.
