The term Messianic Jew is really socially practical because for some reason the Jewish community would still consider you as a true Jew and the liberals will see you as a minority which they automatically deem positive; although you're basically theologically a Christian.
Don't worry, Christians always have this phase of apathy (Even Solomon in Ecclesiastes). Just think of all the good things God did in the past week and all the lovely people you can interact with and provide them a little service.
