They did exist they simply lacked the modern classification granted to them by later historians.

*This is true, but Spicy Wind remains legal.*

The 409th triannual Zachlandiash senate meeting, October 20th, Khujand

*The senate comes into session*

First minister: Order! Order! The senate convenes today in the triannual meeting! First on the agenda, our searches for Talant Ergeshov have been futile, and we are becoming desperate for a new way to find him.

Senator: How do you know you will find him!? We have no guarantee!

Other Senator: We can't go on with this investigation!

First minister: We have a way to solve this!

Nationalist Senator: This is just goning to be a which hunt! How will we

First minister: Don't worry! I got a telegram earlier today from the Nogodia Czar, as they have sent an agent to help track him down. He arrived yesterday Gentlemen, meet Agent Viktor!

*Agent Viktor walks into the Senate, The First minister comes down to shake his hand.*

Viktor: Greetings.

First minister: Thank you. Have you been briefed on the situation yet?

Viktor: Yes. My sympathies to the families of the afflicted.

First minister: I will escort you to the police station where the evidence is being kept. Recess for six hours!

One hour later...

Viktor: Is this all the evidence?

Lieutenant in Chief: Yes. What we know so far is that Ergeshov organized a National political rally in Bishkek and called for his "final solution". People where so moved that they tried his "final solution", and I think you know the rest.

Viktor: I do. I will begin investigating. Keep me updated on what has happened so far.

Tsar Pytor Wrangel has never stated that, it was fake news.

- - - MPs Approve the king's budget - Parliament now dissolved - - -

Last night, MPs voted by a margin of 650-0 to approve the kings proposed budget, and the king has now dissolved parliament, citing it as little more than an "annoyance".

The Kings Speech to the recently convoked Estates-General, 23 October 1899.

I understand that the crisis we now face is of an extraordinary exception. Brutes from the east threaten our Indian holdings, our Dominion of Rio grows ever more restless and the very Union of our great European realms is threatened by persons beholden to frivolous malice. Idle chatter has resolved little in regards to these gargantuan issues that plague the very soul of the realm. It is now that I turn to the Estates to begin the assessment and discussion of these matters. Should bickering and petty factionalism ensue, you are cognisant in the consequences.

- - - Breaking News - - - Mathorn Votes to Leave the World Assembly - - -

This morning, a political earthquake has erupted across the nation, as Mathornians voted, in the biggest democratic exercise in the nation's history, to leave the institution of the World Assembly. It is a huge victory for the Prime Minister - who many in his own party do not like because of his stance on the World Assembly. 33,577,342 voted in the referendum in total, where 19,541,212 votes were cast in favour of leave, and 14,036, 130 votes were cast in favour of remain - a majority for leave of over 5.5 million votes. This equates to a 58.2%/41.8% split of the vote, in favour of leaving the World Assembly.

This emboldens the Prime Minister against potential allies within his party, such as Lewis Adams, a long standing supporter of the World Assembly. The PM will announce the next steps later on this afternoon, after a meeting of the Cabinet, at Glass House (Much like number 10 downing street).

- - - Prime Minister Rackham makes a speech at a podium outside Glass House - - -

"Yesterday, the Mathornian people made a clear choice to leave the institution of the World Assembly. As the leader of the government that promised that referendum, and backed the winning side, I believe it is a responsibility incumbent upon me and this government to implement the will of the Mathornian People. We will begin work straight away, with a vote in Parliament on weather or not to honour the people's vote and what the people wish, later on this afternoon."

- - - Mathornian Ambassador to the World Assembly - Lewis Knox - Resigns from government and the Conservative Party - - -

Lewis Knox, a staunch political enemy of Rackham, and MP for Wold, in Southern Mathorn, has resigned from the Conservative Party, and thus the government, over the result of the World Assembly referendum. This announcement reduces the government's majority in parliament to just 8 seats (votes), and triggers a by-election in the Constituency of Wold, which will be held next Wednesday - Adams will run as an independent in this election.
