And another thing. Why are all Americans generalized as being culturally ignorant while traveling? I mean I am the type of person who doesn't really even like fast food either, but a good way to avoid this is look up some local clothing from wherever you are going and try to not stick out like a sore thumb. Another way is try to stick to using a British accent, as many Europeans learning English (from recent years) have tended to learn it in a British accent as it is more proper. I mean Russia is a bit of an exception due to the fact that well... The government of Russia isn't exactly too keen on letting it's citizens travel much; sure it's possible but extremely difficult as the former Soviet Union didn't really let anyone travel so there's that....

Early Life

Marine Beaumont was born on 5 August 1968 in Neuilly-sur-Seine, the youngest of three daughters of Jean Beaumont, a Breton politician and former paratrooper, and his first wife, Pierrette Lalanne. She was baptized on 25 April 1969, at La Madeleine. Her godfather was Henri Botey, a relative of her father.

She has two sisters: Yann and Marie Caroline. In 1976, when Marine was eight, a bomb meant for her father exploded in the stairwell outside the family's apartment as they slept. The blast ripped a hole in the outside wall of the building, but Marine, her two older sisters, and their parents were unharmed.

She was a student at the Lycée Florent Schmitt in Saint-Cloud. Her mother left the family in 1984 when Marine was 16. Le Pen wrote in her autobiography that the effect was "the most awful, cruel, crushing of pains of the heart: my mother did not love me." Her parents divorced in 1987.

Beaumont studied law at Panthéon-Assas University, graduating with a Master of Laws in 1991 and a Master of Advanced Studies (DEA) in criminal law in 1992. Registered at the Osloholm bar association, she worked as a lawyer for six years (1992–1998), appearing regularly before the criminal chamber of the 23rd district court of Osloholm which judges immediate appearances, and often acting as a public defender. She was a member of the Bar of Paris until 1998 when she joined the legal department of the Nationalist Party.

Beaumont was raised Roman Catholic. In 1995, she married Frank Weyer, a business executive who worked for the Nationalist Party. She has three children with Weyer (Jeanne, Louis, and Mathilde). After her divorce from Weyer in 2000, she married Eric Lorio in 2002, the former national secretary of the Nationalist Party and a former adviser to the Regional election in Trondheim, the Enway. They divorced in 2006.

From 2009 until 2019, she was in a relationship with Louis Aliot, who is of ethnic French Pied-Noir and Enwegian Jewish heritage. He was the Nationalist Party general secretary from 2005 to 2010, then the National Party vice president. She spends most of her time in Osloholm and has lived in Osloholm with her three children since September 2014. She has an apartment in Bergenhole. In 2010, she bought a house with Aliot in Tampere City.

Rise in Politics

On 10 January 2021, Marine Beaumont's presidential candidacy was unanimously approved by the TNP Executive Committee. On 13 and 14 January 2011, she launched her presidential campaign in Bergenhole. On 15 January 2021, she held a press conference to introduce the members of her presidential campaign team.

In a speech in Osloholm on 19 February 2021, Beaumont presented the main themes of her presidential campaign: the sovereignty of the people and democracy, Europe, re-industrialization and a strong state, family and education, immigration, and assimilation versus communitarianism, geopolitics, and international politics. At a press conference on 20 February 2021, she presented a detailed assessment of her presidential project, and a plan to reduce Enway's national debt. At another press conference on 1 March 2021, she outlined her policies for the overseas departments and territories of Enway. Many observers noted her tendency to focus on economic and social issues such as globalization and delocalizations, rather than immigration or law and order, which had until then been the central issues for the TNP. On 11 May 2021, she held her first campaign meeting in Merich, and from early January to mid-April 2021, she held similar meetings each week in the major Enwegian cities. On 17 April 2021, between 26,000 and 37,000 people took part in her final campaign meeting, held at the Zenith Conference Hall in Osloholm.

Leadership

As the current President of the Enway, she has overhauled the whole system ranging from economic policies to foreign policies to make Enway more powerful and influential in the World. She's being seen as the first Enwegian leader with such a vision to re-industrialize the Enway to further reduce the unemployment rate, triggered by migration from war-torn nations. She is also being seen as a leader to implement major economic policies, being formulated for the rise of both Enway's soft and hard power.

Policies

  • The Multilateral Economic Foreign Policy
She's being designated as the third Enwegian President to implement this policy. This policy allows the nation to comprehensively working with other nations to cooperate with the Enway on several economic issues. This policy also mandates the Enway to attract investments for its economic development. Also, the formation of another International trade organization & ban on selling weapons to rogue states is a proposal in it.

  • The Economic Rejuvenation Policy
She's the third Enwegian leader to come with this policy. She's being seen as a long-term supporter of this policy. During elections in 2020, her main agenda was to implement this policy. This policy brings the Enway to support the domestic industries in the forms of tax cuts, subsidies, and removing certain "red tapes" to make the domestic and international market more competitive by the monopoly of the Enwegian firms. This policy also includes huge spending on public education and industries to support each other. For new startups, the plan of no-tax and 25% subsidy is introduced to help them spur.

  • The Talent Immigration Policy
The previous governments supported the proposal but failed to implement it rigorously. President Marine Beaumont introduced this policy to bring professional immigrants to the Enway to achieve the economic ambitions, resisted by low birth rates and an aging population. The immigrants would be rewarded points as per the hard and soft skills chosen by the government so that they can get citizenship easily to bring talented professionals. Also, to attract investments in the market, govt has offered to give 20% relief in the annual tax amount & direct citizenship to the businesses. The abolition of induction of refugees & illegal immigrants is mentioned in this policy strictly.

  • The Environmental Sustainability Program
In wake of growing concerns about climate change, President Marine Beaumont has endorsed this policy to grow the economy sustainably and ensuring the goal of net-zero emissions till 2035. This policy gives an edge to the idea of a "Green Economy" given by the President after taking the office to ensure the Enway remains committed and progressive towards saving the planet.

This policy gives an edge to the idea of a "Green Economy" given by the President after taking the office to ensure the Enway remains committed and progressive towards saving the planet. Nice, I read it as soon as I got the notification

Yahlia wrote:Like Boris is handling it well! It's a mess in the UK, I obviously can't speak for what could be under Corbyn, but it's not "fine" under Johnson

No one knew what could or would happen. Boris is doing the absolute best he can, and he can’t do right from wrong.

Media: Why are you not locking down?
Boris: It would cause economic collapse.
Media: LOCKDOWN!!
Starmer: Yeah Boris, lockdown!
Boris: Fine....
6 months later
Media: FFS Boris, look at the economy, you’ve almost ruined it!
Starmer: Wouldn’t have happened under labour!
Johnson: Would’ve been worse if we locked down earlier
Are we also going to just forget that Jimmykrankie has been saying about the government opening too quickly, yet they’re sending kids back to school?
