The Pacific is genuinely authoritarian, from what I understand. It's not just a matter of themeing.

And it's not unique to NationStates either. Modern authoritarians often bury their authoritarianism in irony. You can't tell someone who's joking about authoritarianism from an authoritarian, and that's the point.

And besides the politics of it, in the game, they're a danger to our international security. My vote is For.
