finish the (unfortunately) unfinished recruitment telegram, and get the RP up and running.

On another note, I'd like to ask all of you guys if we should improve our citizenship system. The only change I'm thinking of is creating a forum page for it, since relying on Immobilia's google survey really isn't the best method of doing things. I wanted to change it so that citizenship could be a more integral part of things, but as it stands, there really isn't much else I want to change about it (being that it grants nations access to the politics of the region, while leaving citizenship alone still allows for nations to roleplay in it). The biggest thing is probably solidifying it in the constitution, as nothing in the constitution mentions it nor states exactly what citizenship does. In addition, my cabinet and I can discuss if we want to change the questions or not. Again, since it's going to be gameplay-related (at least, that's what I think it should be), the questions shouldn't be a heavy selection process, but rather just more of a more in-depth background check with maybe a few requirements or something like that.

Also, I'm also planning that "Welcome to the FoA" overhaul, but, uh, I need to check which parts I need to overhaul in specific. This is probably the hardest one, unless you are willing to update it.

in other news, immobilia has hacked my computer and is coming for my family

this sounds like a joke but since he's kinda blackmailing me, it really isnt oh god oh fuc hes here h

I meant irl. Will you go to uni, will you look for work, or will you just relax for now ?

I can update it, once I'm free from exams, so not before the middle of next month.

The Federation of Portamia speaks Portamian, and the religion commonly worshipped here is Karspii.

Karspii is a polytheistic religion that has been worshipped along the coast of the Tiski River, a largely Portamia-centered religion. Its precise origins have been lost to time, but it is believed to be a combination of various pagan beliefs within the modern day borders. Some argue that it is the oldest religion in the world, but the many drastic shifts in Karspii as a whole has sparked frequent debate over this claim.

The core deity of Karspii is Puurayaana, said to have developed in a star for thousands of years, and upon his emergence from it created the universe with a colossal shockwave. Karspii belief states that Puurayaana observed the world's creation by the Two Divine Friends, which were two beings attached to his left and right arm. They were Arkizry and Samil-Ked. Arkizry and Samil-Ked trained for hundreds of years in an event known as The Great Destruction, which was the creation of many worlds that each got destroyed when their imperfections and imbalances were brought to light by Puurayaana. Upon achieving what Puurayaana would deem 'perfection', he set forth men made of water to sacrifice themselves on the world's empty river banks to bestow the planet with life. The River Tiski is special in the sense that at the end of Puurayaana's life, he dissolved into it, leaving Arkizry and Samil-Ked to observe and guide all life.

Karspii has a core set of eight principles created by Arkizry and Samil-Ked. Followers are expected to follow known as the Two Lights. The name "Two Lights" does not relate to the number of principles that needs to be followed but the two "Desired Outcomes" that the principles aim to achieve, which are:

• "Those of an undying appetite to provide for all living things will be rewarded with the highest of praise."
• "Those with a ravenous hunger shall be granted a meal, for a full stomach is a full heart"

Upon achieving the two Desired Outcomes, Arkizry and Samil-Ked is said to bestow unseen strength to one's family and will provide food for them for the next two generations.

The eight principles translated from Old Virinic are:

• "Do not deny others of well-meaning"
• "Do not deny others of a meal"
• "Harm only those who harm others"
• "Assist with community construction"
• "Do not deny the flow of any river through obstruction"
• "Respect those who seek to do no harm"
• "Do not steal"
• "Prosper"

It is tradition that each household normally has something with these rules carved onto them. Poorer households with barely any land may have etched these rules into a piece of furniture or had it tattooed onto them, whilst farmers, nobles and other landowners would place a large, flat slab of stone into the ground with the principles carved onto them (similar to a standing stone).

Every year, many Karspiin from all around the world migrate back to their homeland in order to participate on Tiskitat, a Karspii holiday. People gather and carve trout ornaments out of birch wood, which is believed to increase animal fertility. Birch saplings are then ceremoniously planted in open plots of land. This tradition is to preserve the supply of birch wood for the carving of trout ornaments for future generations, and throughout Portamia there are "open lands" owned by each province's respective government reserved for these festivities. After this, a large party is held.

A minority sect of Karspii known as Kaspian Karspii that focuses on Yrl Kaspia, the first Yrl of Portamia and common subject of folklore. A commonly told story in Portamia refers to his ability to jump up any hill effortlessly, and it is said that repeating this action increased the fertility of the land around the hill, some even claiming the instantaneous blooming of flowers in winter. Kaspian Karspii holds a small religious majority in the Pultician province of Droyang, but followers of Kaspian Karspii in other provinces have declined over the years in favour of atheism or a lighter variant of lay Karspii.

Karspii still survives to this day, although somewhat reformed. Portamia is a secular country, but elements of Karspii show up in day to day life all around Portamia. Many non-religious people partake in events like Tiskitat whilst respecting the history and activities of the sacred day.

New nation, that speaks some seemingly non-Indo-European language?
I like that! Original, and it makes my job a lot easier

Hey, look at our regional map and tell me where would you like to be located

Also guys (Administration), we have to update our regional map link in the Regional Message Board. Minister of Lore used to be able to do that, but for some reason that power was taken from me, so some of you have to do it instead
