The "Council of Six" have decided to allow the government to establish a national language and recognized secondary languages. Governor Rosenberg stated that she would leave the discussion of what the official language should be to the next Governor. Roughly 85% of Guyellens speak more than one language, with English being their secondary tongue.

Election News:

In a surprising twist of events, Democratic Representative Billy Chastain won the election by less than .1% of the popular vote. As of now, the government is undergoing transition to Mr. Chastain's governing body, which will assume total control on 01 August 2019. In regards to the federal language, he has stated that he will champion a system where there are two primary federal languages.

A few minutes after the rebel leader signed the document in which the Republican Movement was now recognized by the Socialist Republic of Furstia as the legitimate government of West Africa, the orders to proceed with the second phase of Operation "Scorpion" were relayed to all personnel of the Furstian People's Armed Forces deployed in the neighboring nation.

Half an hour later, in some cases facing only minimal or no resistance, the personnel of the Furstian People's Army had seized TV & Radio stations, administrative buildings and entry checkpoints throughout the cities of Abidjan, Accra, Cotonou, Ouagadougou, Yamoussoukro and Lomé.
Other troops had to be persuaded to surrender after being completely surrounded by the Furstian People's Army, like the garrisons guarding the entrances of labor camps, or the Royal Guards in the Palace.

At Yamoussoukro, the CTAM Force and the troops from the 10th Mount Brigade surrounded the compound where King Ffumbe was hiding, trying to shelter himself and those around him from the inevitable collapse of the West African monarchy.

As the Furstian soldiers pointed their guns at the building and Mi-24 helicopters flew above, warnings being broadcasted in the Igbo language could be heard from loudspeakers.

"Mr. Ffumbe Ngige. Order your followers to surrender and lay down their arms. You are surrounded. Abidjan is now under control of the Republican Movement. The Furstian People's Army has pledged to support the new movement of the masses of West Africa. This conflict has come to its end."

As the last king of West Africa contemplated his choices, Mrs. Aysi Amaechi was being transported to the capital of her country by the Naval Aviation of the Furstian People's Navy. The republican revolution had triumphed.

Defiance of a Demon

King Ffumbe, only reigning for a few weeks, had yet to truly experience being king. He merely took over the war his brother took over from their mother. Hearing the calls from outside, he refused in his mind to give in. He had to give the loyalists one last stand. He couldn't let the Republican Movement win so easily. A few moments later, the remaining guards were ordered to open fire on the Furstian soldiers. This was his final stand. He must uphold his family name against all those who oppose it.

Soon after the first rounds had been fired by the men still loyal to the young King, a number of different voices across all radios were transmitting the same message.

"Fuego, Fuego", "Abran fuego", "Fuego a discreción".
(Fire, Fire), (Open fire), (Fire at will).

The enemy was surrounded, outnumbered, and found itself under overlapping fields of fire. But it was Ffumbe's choice to have his men die in that way. Some of his guards fell to the ground, struck by hails of 7.62mm bullets, while the Furstians had only to regret a few wounded men.

"Alto al fuego"
(Hold your fire)
An order finally echoed throughout the radios and immediately, all rifles and machine guns stopped shooting.

"Escuadrón 'Chikra'. Chikra-1, 2 y 3, fuego de ametralladora sobre el objetivo." soon ordered the colonel who was in charge of the operation.
('Chikra' squad. Chikra-1, 2 and 3, machine gun fire over the target.)

"Esquadrón 'Chikra', recibido. Chikra-1, 2 y 3, abriendo fuego contra el objectivo."
('Chikra' squad, copy that. Chikra-1, 2 and 3, firing at the target.)

3 Mi-24s fired their 12.7mm guns at the building. After 20 seconds, they stopped.

Those who hadn't fell yet were probably hiding wherever they could, in fear. Once again, a warning was launched through loudspeakers.

"To anyone that remains in the building, surrender immediately. This is your last chance."

Young soldiers, some who chose to duck and hide and not to shoot looked at each other. They nodded, left their weapons, and walked out with their hands up.

"Estamos desarmados! No queremos hacer daño." called out Private First Class, Nubia Ojukwu. "We wish to be taken peacefully." she continued. All 11 soldiers left stood out front, each one with their hands up.

Infiny wrote:Ever since Infiny's economic boost between the 1970s and early 2000s, migrants have considered Infiny an attractive place. Aside from the wealth and the proximity for many of the less fortunate in the world, Infiny has long embraced migrants, citing ideas that migration is not only a right but that it also contributes to the Infinian culture and economy. With a population density little over 72 people per square kilometer, populist cries that Infiny is getting full are barely legitimate. People in nations like Mozambique, Zambia, Malawi and the Congo head to Infiny to find a better life for themselves and their loved ones. Infiny's historical canon claims that it has conquered much of Africa, but in reality, much of Africa has conquered Infiny. Truly, borders and migration are a funny thing indeed.

Recent weeks have seen an increase in migration across the Ruvuma river, which marks most of the border between Tanzania and Mozambique. The cause of this increase is vague; no specific disasters in Mozambique have been reported, yet the numbers are being estimated to be around 11.000 migrants last month. The governors of Zapano and Jezior, the two states largely responsible for processing migration, have called for federal help in documenting these migrants and giving them proper assistance towards their life in the Imperial Federation. The Sobiraniya in Mogadishu now has to decide how to handle the refugees.

Mogadishu, Council of Representatives. July 2nd. 1.04 PM.

Speaker Karosas: ORDER! ORDER! THE CHAIR RECOGNIZES THE REPRESENTATIVE FROM THE IMPERIAL STATE OF MIZIMA, MS. NAKAYA AME.

Representative Ame, MZ (USP): Mr. Speaker. Representatives of the Infinian States. I find it utterly disturbing that the gentlemen from Jezior suggests temporarily halting entry for migrants to give the administration time to establish proper facilities. It is not the migrants' fault that the Imperial Federation is shockingly unprepared for their large numbers. The states of Jezior and Zapano are well aware of their geographic location and the socioeconomic environment interact. The Sobiraniya must take its responsibility and take the duty of integrating migrants into the Infinian system from the border states. It is obvious that the state governments of the aforementioned states have failed to adequately respond to, or prepare for, the current crisis.

Representative Samata, JZ (FR): I object, there is no need to delegate yet more powers to the Federal government and continue the ever-increasing federal stranglehold on its sovereign states. I agree, however, that the Federal government has failed to adequately delegate resources to our states, which in turn created the situation in which we are now. If Mogadishu takes its responsibility, they would allow the state governments of Jezior and Zapano direct control over managing the Mozambiqan migrants, without the meddling of the Federal Governments and states whose verdict, at this point, is trivial. We must smooth out this bureaucratic nightmare -

Representative Savitsky, GA (PNP): Smooth out this bureaucratic nightmare?! By compromising on our federal system? We are a-

Speaker Karosas: ORDER! The Chair recognizes the Representative from Jezior, Mr. Zyanon Samata.

Representative Samata, JZ (FR): I move that the Federal Government delegate the authority on proper care of Mozambiqan, Malawian, and Zambian migrants to the states tasked with that responsibility, being the states of Jezior and Zapano. This foremostly includes the right of the states to construct the necessary facilities, as well as oversee the proper care of the migrants inside of them, without jurisdiction being primarily in the hands of the national Sobiraniya or the Prime Minister's administration. Naturally, the quality of these facilities must adhere to the established standards and regulations.

Mogadishu, Council of Representatives, July 21st. 2.15 PM.

Speaker Karosas: Order! WE SHALL HAVE ORDER! This council shall now vote on the resolution proposed by Representative Samata of Jezior.

Representative Tarasava, JZ (USP): Mr. Speaker, I object to this vote. We cannot delegate such authority to the federal subjects of the Imperial Federation that the nation itself will eventually disintegrate. If we hold a vote on this matter, and god forbid, the vote will pass, we are paving the way for ever-increasingly ease in opportunity for treason against the Imperial Federation, simply because the central government will not have the power to keep its states in line! Since such an event would clearly directly derive from the legislation proposed by the gentlemen, I hold that we would directly violate the constitution.

Representative Kebire, HA (KI): We cannot hold a vote on a matter of which it is undecided whether or not it is constitutional. If we are to hold a vote on the matter at all, I propose this council first clarifies whether it is constitutional to delegate such authority to the federal states.

Speaker Karosas: I believe you are well aware, Mr. Kebire, that it would be thoroughly unconstitutional for this house to vote on the constitutionality of delegating authority. In our constitution we have a separation of powers, it would thus be for the courts to decide whether something is constitutional or not.

Representative Samata, JZ (FR): Mr. Speaker, again we come with the bureaucratic rambles. This nation needs action, my dear colleagues. If we were to send a vague case to the court, it could take too long for them to respond, and the response that we will receive will be one of no clarity at all, as the court can’t base itself on any concise case! We have a crisis on our hand, our southern border is overrun! The Federal government has simply proven itself incompetent in managing this crisis, leaving too many refugees stranded and without care. This is no resolution on whether you are in favor of or against migration. This is in itself a motion of humanity, as it wishes for decisive action to bring solutions to these people! It is inevitable that this case will reach the court, as this council seems to be divided between itself as to whether or not this resolution is legal. But, as it will certainly reach the Supreme Court, let us at least offer a concise case, so that we can work with a clear ruling.

Speaker Karosas: This house shall not vote on the constitutionality of the resolution, for that is for the Supreme Constitutional Court to decide. Shall the resolutions of this house be found violating the constitution, it is for the court to strike it down, or it could be met with an executive veto. We will now have a vote on the resolution proposed by Representative Samata of Jezior.

As the representatives vote, it becomes clear that it would become a tight vote. The resolution receives unanimous support from the representatives of the liberal Filash Rivoy, the conservative Madaxi, and the centrist Aliyasiya and the right-wing Maret Centrisixayu. The green Poko y Natura opposes the resolution fiercely, while the social-democratic Uniya ye Socialixa y Progressivixa and the pragmatist Cisarya Partiya are divided.

Speaker Karosas: With 290 yeas, 263 nays and 7 abstentions, this council passes the resolution put forward by representative Samata. Unless there are any objections, the motion carries, and a motion to reconsider is laid on the table. That is all.

After hearing the soldier and informing command, new orders were transmitted to the troops. The helicopter squadron would patrol the skies and the rest of the 10th Mount Brigade would go door to door, trying to find any vehicle convoys or groups of people that might seek to escape the city. MQ-1 UAVs would help in that task too. With that many eyes everywhere, any attempts would be thwarted.

Furstian commandos soon secured the building. Inside, Ffumbe Ngige's corpse lay on the floor, with a deep wound in the chest. Former Queen Nkurma was hiding in a sickly condition. Not only was she scared due to the situation she just had found herself in, attacked by Furstian troops. She also grieved losing another relative in such a tragic way.

After they found her, a soldier spoke to her in the Yoruba language.

"You are under the custody of the Furstian People's Army. West Africa is now a Republic. You will be taken to a safe place where you will receive proper care and medical attention."

New Government in Western afrika

The civil conflict in the neighboring country is on its last stages of conclusion, as a new government has seized power, on behalf of the West African People.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, via its official social media profiles, has released a formal statement in which the Socialist Republic of Furstia acknowledges and recognizes the new government in West Africa. As well, the photo of a treaty signed by the Comrade Minister Dorrego and President Amaechi has been circulating among the front pages of the state newspaper, reiterating Furstia's position.

Comrade President Rafael Ilario has released a personal statement, in which he details that he is "eager to work side-by-side with [his] West African counterpart, for the continued betterment of Africa."

Comrade Minister Umbué has also congratulated the People of West Africa for their victory, while praising as well, the limited but crucial role of the Furstian People's Armed Forces in the outcome of the conflict.

Government scrapes through first stage of reform, second to be introduced soon
Issues within the coalition have arisen with the standardisation program with the Student Coalition splintering and fracturing as the novice students that has formed this party had fallen into disrepair as they failed to come to any form of agreement. Luckily for the Liberal Coaliton members of the Student Coalition joined the two other Liberal parties and assistance from the Workers party made it so the Standardisation was approved. Due to this, the government is ruling with 96 seats instead of the 104 seats that they started with, making it minority government. According to government sources and statements there are discussions with the Metropolitan Alliance and the United Workers Front. Consul Giles has stated that both parties are willing to support the government in a vote of no confidence however, so there doesn't seem to be any imminent risk of another election. Consul Giles has also revealed the focus of the next stage of reforms, with liberal policies such as the creation of a Welfare state throughout the country instead of those in poverty reliant on City assistance and charity work, something which was a cornerstone of the NLC and SDP manifestos. Questions on how far the Welfare program will go and how it will be funded remain, and will be major parts of any inclusion of the MA or UWF.

Official Presidency Established

With Aysi Amaechi being the interim president of West Africa, her job is to build up the nation as much as she can while she remains in power. Announced just yesterday, elections will be held for the First President of West Africa, under the newly established Constitution of West Africa of 2019. In the constitution, things are outlined for the president. They are: the president must uphold the constitution and the rights of the citizens of West Africa, the president is set to a four year term with a max of two consecutive terms, and a max of four total terms, the president is given the ability to propose a movement to war to the Congress of West Africa, and the president is not allowed to disband any department.

Currently running for the position are:

President: Enitan Madaki
Vice President: Abebe Obi

President: Arkamun Bello
Vice President: Anon Okonkwo

President: Kibwe Ekwensi
Vice President: Babatunde Madaki

President: Zuri Akinyemi
Vice President: Akwasi Falana

Enitan is from the newly formed Republican Party, formed out of the ideals of the now disbanded Republican Movement. Arkamun does not affiliate himself with any party. Kibwe associates himself with the Citizen's Party, which bases it's ideals on traditional ways, but also modern ways to help improve the life of people in West Africa. Zuri associates herself with the West Party, based on West Africa-first ideals.

Each candidate will be voted a few weeks. Whichever candidate wins will become the First President of West Africa. Also, elections will be held in all 197 divisions of West Africa to fill both the Senate and House of Representatives. The Senate will house 2 candidates from each division. The HRWA will house a set number of representatives from each division based on its population.

The Department of Foreign Affairs has also been established under Amaechi. Embassy requests and new passports should be out in a month to three months.

After the garrison surrenders in the Mayors palace, the attackers cheer in the streets waving their guns and firing in the air. A man in a generals attire wearing sunglasses steps onto a balcony and looks down at his men, he takes in the view and then raises his hands, as he does so various officers scream at their men for silence and eventually the celebration ends. He takes off his glasses and looks at a camera broadcasting the moment.

General: My name is General Akanni Adeyemi. I used to serve the crown in Western Afrika before they were murdered by liars and traitors. I sought refugee status for me and my men but were denied by the corrupt government of the Tuareg Confederation. So we hade to take our survival into our own hands.

He looks to his men

We cannot go back for we will be killed for our loyalty, we cannot stay where we are now or we will face attack, the only way to survival is forward! We will take Ouargla the capital of this ‘nation’, topple the government and found our own that is not held up by oil barons holding all the power.

He looks to the camera

Tribes of the Tuareg I know your history, this nation was founded on the basis of the tribes ruling together for each other’s, however in our era it is the tribes serving the oil barons, stripping your power and respect. It’s time to change that and wether you join me or not it will change.

The Messaoudi tribe has already joined me, they are the ones who started the attack at dawn. They are surely the tribe with the most respect as they are so far the only ones who have broken the chains of their oppression.

This is not an invasion, this is a liberation join me or not but do not get in our way.
