World Factbook Entry

Welcome to Groovy, fittingly the grooviest region in all of NationStates! Groovy was founded on 6 August 2018 by 60s Music and is a safe haven for anything and everything having to do with 1960s and early 1970s music and popular culture (although posting stuff from the 1980s is fine too, as a lot of the best music comes from then too). It's time to dig out your bell bottoms and your tie-dye T-shirts, take those psychedelic records off the shelf, and PARTY!

Please be sure to endorse 60s Music if you are a WA member, and peace out!

Right now I'm listening to "Piano Man", by Billy Joel.

Oh, it changed. Now its "Rich Girl" by Hall and Oates.

70s pop fan?

Almost all 60s, 70s, 80s, I love (except for early rap of course)

So yes!

Me too, though I feel the 70s were the weakest of those decades. I love new wave, early 80s hard rock, mid-late 60s psychedelic pop, and a bunch of other stuff spanning over 40 years end to end. One of my very favourite 60s songs is "Summer in the City" (1966) by the Lovin' Spoonful.

Hey, who knows how we can get some more members in this region? It's seriously just about the most dead region there is.

What's your alt account? Just curious.

The Rings of Gold Casino.

Thats a nation based off of one of my favorite books, and this one off of a song.

So from the looks of it, you've known about me and this region since before you even created 99 Red Balloons. Cool! Would you like me to revive one of my old puppets and move it into there with you?
