Start the countdown to April 21st.

Tamils wrote:"Arrest them. Arrest them all" sounds extremely fascist. You seem to be more aligned with the third Reich than a democracy. Understanding the history of the people of Catalan would help you better empathize with their situation than calling them, terrorists. Hopefully, you are more open-minded to the situation in the future.

I know the Spanish and their History better than most of you. Who do you think you are, to presume what I know or do not know ?

Wouldn't you arrest people who commit crimes against the state and the Constitution ? Like the people who promoted the secession of Catalonia a couple of years ago ?
What kind of a country do you live in ?

Those insurgents, aka "protesters", in reality, are lucky. The authorities are very tolerant with them.
You say I seem to be more aligned with the third Reich. You couldn't be more wrong. I respect other opinions, of course. I just don't have the patience for ignorance, stupidity and outright insult.

I do not have the patience for fascists like you too.

You may or may have not heard of Franco (Dictator of Spain from 1936-1975). Before he died, he appointed Juan Carlos as King of Spain to be his heir. Juan Carlos had a son, Felipe, who is now King of Spain and recently a Catalan Rapper was arrested for insulting the Spanish monarchy and allegedly glorifying “terrorism” in his music. Do you agree with the following statement...

Spain is still carrying on its dictatorship but in a different way to like Franco did.

Franco was savage !!!

I know loads about Franco due to a 4 part documentary I watched on his life...

Indusse, Gadhavi, and Pattin

I know loads about Spain and Spanish History because I am in privileged position. I am Portuguese. The capital city of my country is the second oldest city in Europe, after Athens, Greece.
We were around long before the Spaniards did. My country is 350 years more ancient than Spain, while some countries in the world are not even 350 years old yet.
So, when I talk about Spain, I know what I'm saying.

Special thanks to HRR for quoting the message so that I could see it. Well, I never felt I did anything wrong. Could you please say what I did wrong? Is it the dissolution of the organisation?

Why did you suppress my comment? I did not be disrespectful like the other person. That is the definition of fascism.

I
If any section of the population is being oppressed by the government, they are not insurgents, they are victims of fascism.

We are trying our best to avoid discussions on that topic.

Not exactly- things like stuff which call for separation of a state from country is secessionism, and secessionists aren't entertained. Fascism is an ideology, and what you're speaking about is authoritarianism. Plus, Catalonia is Spain's internal matter, what will we Indians get by debating on it anyway

If the reason for secession is a democratic resolution by a group of people, then it should not be a problem. Moreover, International law and the UN does recognize people the right to self-determination to choose their sovereignty.

Don't tell me about UN laws. They are more of a charter. Countries may or may not abide by it. Secondly, if things like that happen, I'm pretty sure the Earth will be divided into a million pieces. Let the countries do whatever they want given any country doesn't infringe their sovereignty.

There is nothing called as international law.
There are treaties and charters.
It's upto individual nations to do what they deem fit

Those treaties and charters are for individual human beings too. The right to self-determination applies to any group of people who want to leave a country. Once again all that matters is if the cause is Democratic to that group of people, if they want to secede, it is the right of that people.

Insulting someone during discussion is personal attack. We encourage healthy discussions on the RMB and not political debates.
