KAISERREICH is an enthusiastic, proud, and a rapidly developing region spanning years on Nationstates as the greatest Empire in our NS-World. Initially based on the Germanic-style motifs, the Empire eventually evolved into a community with its own unique identity through all the trials and tribulations. The Empire further rejects the promulgation of the problematic parts of German history in favor of our fair but just regional monarcho-meritocracy. This comes with the intent to protect our civilized outlook as the Light of Civilization on NS. Having an emphasis on roleplay and community building, our region is centered around its people, education, arts, labor, military traditions, and praise of our Kaiser which allows for the most active and enthusiastic persons to freely rise through the ranks of our hierarchy.

Despite the "Serious" tag and the pursuit of excellence, KAISERREICH is a welcoming, charitable, and personable community. We respect everyone's desire for free self-expression within the bounds of reason and the varying law codices. Our developing region welcomes everybody and offers a vast array of activities and opportunities for would be residents in the advancement of our region. The Empire is one of the only few regions that utilizes an extremely developed bureaucratic system, which allows for it to expand and grow even in times of conflict.

⚑ Region|

KAISERREICH (officially the Empire of KAISERREICH; commonly Kaiserreich, KR) is an enormous monarchist region, founded on 25 June 2015. The region, led by longtime Kaiser Scansinia, which is frequently associated with its militaristic tradition and history as a raiding region that carries over from our old predecessor region. It is also known for its large regional government and apparatus, that utilizes a vast regional administration of ministries, departments, and companies that further the overall infrastructure of the Empire. These divisions of administration range from maintaining records, foreign affairs, defense, arts, recreation, economics, justice, education, and personal enterprises. These combined with our parliament (Reichstag) are major factors into how the Empire continues to stand the test of time going on for years in strength, loyalty, power, and devotion.

✒ Short History|


KAISERREICH was founded by Kaiser Scansinia in 2015 as a homeland for the Reichswehr, a military organization that had failed to find a stable home on the expanses of the NationStates. The ancestors of the Eternal Volk created older Kingdoms, but after many pre-dynastic wars the remnants of these people were led by Kaiser Scansinia in a great Exodus where they were persecuted by many ancient enemies. Over the next few years, the Empire formed and thus KR's Empire would expand as dozens of regions were seized as protectorates, while a series of controversial figures would rise and fall, with many memorable personalities who dramatically changed the region forever. Only a few individuals from the early days of the region still remain active within KR today, but the region still holds a variety of unique institutions and activities, often rooted in these past experiences. The zeal from the people of KR comes from a determination that derives from the past as they strive to never be conquered nor oppressed as their ancestors were in distant ages.

Due to the region's patriotic spirit combined with a general confusion around the regional name and government, KAISERREICH became associated with national socialism and fascism in the eyes of some outsiders. In 2018, a punitive liberation (SC Resolution #245) was passed by the WA Security Council predicated on those beliefs, pushing KR into the public eye and compromising the region's long-term security. This looming danger spurred interest in further drastically changing the nature of the region and deeply reforming its system. Which pushed for the united spirit of the populace to strive ever onwards, making the Empire even greater.

The Empire's history is full of varying shifts from far-left to traditional tendencies among its Nobility and Citizenry. These manifested in various Republican to more Aristocratic forms of governances. These combined with other internal and external threats led to various schisms, conflicts, and wars. Though the strength of the Empire has always overcame these trials and tribulations with united resolve. In recent times, a Democratic system of governance gave way to a more traditional Meritocratic system in the conclusion of the Fourth Codexical Convention, thus marking the beginning of the Modern Period of KAISERREICHER History.

Appendix on the Historical Question:

The history of the Empire of KAISERREICH is extremely rich because of the frequent turbulent events the region has passed through. The amount of the past happenings is so immense that the current regional history works are extremely spread out and considered to be sacred, heavily protected, and cautiously researched by the employees and imperial nobles of especially high competence.
This attitude was caused largely by the numerous attacks on the Kaiserreicher regional identity, manifested in, but not limited to: sabotage of the Imperial government, sabotage of the Imperial reputation, and threatening of its populace - everything via direct or indirect means. Thus, it is the duty of all citizens to safe guard our Imperial traditions and legacy as we march ever forward towards a new tomorrow.


☛ Newcomer's Guide and Useful Links|

Thanks to our active recruitment programs, our region attracts many newcomer nations from all over NationStates. If you just founded your nation and preferred KAISERREICH above any other region, this guide is for you.

Firstly, every newcomer nation intending to remain in the region without having their Telegrams spammed with recruitment telegrams must fix their Telegram Preferences by putting the "Recruitment" setting to "Block All".

Secondly, every NationStates newcomer must familiarize themselves with the Rules of NationStates and Imperial Laws of KAISERREICH. Don't forget to be civilized and polite even in a heated discussion no matter how passionate you are on a topic. Unless you want to receive problems in form of the increased attention from the Imperial Government and the Site Moderators.

Thirdly, to have a comfortable gameplay and interaction, every single newcomer must familiarize themselves with the guides specifically related to the NationStates: a comprehensive NationStates Guide by Amerion and detailed NationStates Guide by DACOROMANIA.

⍈ Getting Involved|

The simplest way of getting involved in our region is posting on our Regional Message Board, shortened to RMB for simplicity. In our region, there is a rule that prohibits posting more than 2 (two, zwei, deux, dos, два) posts in a row, so we advise editing your posts in crucial cases or to just wait till you can post again - or just wait for or ask somebody active via TG (Telegram) to break the combo for you.

Each new face is welcomed warmly on the board by both posters and the government officials in the separate welcome posts, where links to informational factbooks are provided. All questions regarding the game, the region, or some other topic will be answered promptly.

To become a part of the region officially and fully, one is advised to join the LinkImperial Discord server and get a job in the Empire, most frequent of which are listed in the Imperial Services. Upon getting at least one, you will be granted a title of Laborer, and then you will be put into the Imperial Registry, allowing for access to most of our regional activities, such as roleplaying, party memberships, participation in contests, etc.

After seven (7) days of employment and activity, a Laborer will be eligible to take the Citizenship Exam from the Ministry of the Interior. Citizenship provides full protection by the Empire and full rights provided by the Codices, plus it gives more abilities into entertainment and career paths. A Citizen is an entrusted member of the region, which those devoted and active enough have a significant chance to get noticed by our government officials who can propose their candidatures of nobility to the Kaiser to join the Reichstag or be elected to Imperial Tribune. Any and all Citizens may put their name into the candidature for Imperial Tribune during our elections so long as they maintain their legal, activity, and labor requirements in the varying law Codices. A Citizen may work in almost all positions, and may even request to form their own Company that can function within the bounds of Nationstates Gameplay.



☄ Regional Culture and Roleplay|

KAISERREICH continues improving in the art of regional roleplaying, and the sharpening and mastering the skills of content creation/moderation. Our region is known for the presence of developed systems such as multi-purpose Regional Message Board (RMB) roleplaying - of Character, Alt-Historical, Historical, Modern-Days, Sci-Fi, Post-Apocalypse, NationStates genres, as well as the mixes of such genres. These group Role-Play activities also expand into other gaming medias for broader entertainment experiences.

The Imperial Minister of Culture for the Empire, pays close attention and makes efforts in support of the regional Roleplay and other Entertainment activities.

There are also newspapers that enlighten the population. Such as the Kaiserreicher Allgemeine and Der Reichsabend, that both aim to educate the population from a variety of viewpoints.

All newcomers are welcome and encouraged to participate in roleplaying and work on improving it further, remaining in this field is one of the most labor-needing areas because of the constantly extending labor front. Everybody interested in culture-creation, from beginner comic artist and memologists to prominent writers, are always welcome in KAISERREICH.


☂ Rules and Guidelines|

KAISERREICH was initially founded on the values of civilization and overall orderliness, so it would be strange of us to not have any kind of rules protecting the region and its community from barbaric phenomena of bigotry and griefing.

After incidents of sabotage, vandalism, and unrest our Imperial Police forces are always on high alert and shall detain offenders quickly to be judged by our Imperial Supreme Court. Major offenders shall suffer greater consequences and face the highest measure of social security - that is, banishment.

In short, the main rules of staying in KAISERREICH safely are:
1. Be respectful and tolerant towards others.
2. Say no to fascism and other degeneration.
3. Remain civil and never violate the NS rules.

It is highly advised to examine the full list of Site Rules and Regional Laws.
Remember - ignorance of the law shall not liberate one from responsibility.

- "So, there is nobility. What does it give? How do I join?"
⠀ Nobility allows for greater influence and higher candidature selection for Imperial Offices, a seat in the Reichstag, and being allowed to forge Families/Clans. One can become a noble after being an active Citizen and passing the nobility exam if they are nominated by a Noble, Citizen, or chosen directly by the Kaiser.

- "KAISERREICH? Was this region based around the Hearts of Iron mod?"
⠀ No, but this mod has influenced our region heavily. The region encompasses many aspects from the earlier years of events in our Nationstates's experience which present themselves with the unique institutions we have in the Empire.

- "KAISERREICH? Is this region fascist?"
⠀ The Empire stands resolutely against fascism. Every single fascist trying to enter this region will be banned.

- "Community building? Is there an official or at least unique region-made ideology or religion here?"
⠀ Our region is known for its adherence to our ancestral religion - Vedulism, which continues to be quite influential over the years even in other regions. As for politics there are varying ideologies from conservative, liberal, monarchist, and social democratic.

- "Why is there so much structure and bureaucratic tendencies?"
⠀ This region has stretched over many years and with it the development of exams, waiting periods, job requirements, etc. to ensure that each new individual has an understanding of the Empire before being shoved into positions of power. These checks and balances ensure that proper accountability and general devotion to the region is maintained for those willing to stay for a prolonged period of time instead of only a few weeks or months.

Types of magic

Description

Elemental

This magic employs the elements of the Earth; wind, fire, water, Earth, thunder, light, darkness, and ice.

Defensive

This magic focuses on the protection of the user/target. It can be used to protect anything dead or alive, moving or stationary, friend or foe.

Medical

This magic maintains the well being of your soldiers. This can be used to heal wounded soldiers on the battlefield or cure disease.

phycological

This magic messes with the minds of targeted individuals. It can change an entire army's personality.

Mechanical

This magic manipulates machinery to your advantage. This will allow you to use the machine as you need.

Types of potions

Description

Explosive

When used, this will cause the affected area to explode. As simple as that.

Buff

This will give buffs to the individual affected and give them an edge in battle.

Atomic

This will allow for the restructuring of atoms to make anything you desire.

Chemical

This is a much better and effective way to deploy chemical warfare.

Poison potions secrete lethal toxins that inflict excruciating pain and suffering upon their victims, causing paralysis, convulsions, and ultimately death. Nerve gas potions disrupt the nervous system, inducing paralysis and respiratory failure in those exposed to their noxious fumes. Blinding potions emit clouds of caustic smoke that sear the eyes and lungs of their targets, rendering them incapacitated and vulnerable to attack. Hallucinogenic potions induce terrifying visions and delusions in those who ingest them, plunging them into a nightmarish realm of madness and despair. Finally, incapacitating potions release clouds of soporific gas that induce unconsciousness in those exposed to their effects, leaving them helpless and at the mercy of their enemies. Through the use of these nefarious elixirs, alchemists unleash the horrors of chemical warfare upon the battlefield, leaving devastation and despair in their wake.
