honestly, when i'm on road trips the scenery is the best part. i get to see all sorts of cool new places from the window and i can think about what goes on without actually knowing. and it's all so different it's a lot of fun

Hello, Karma. I'm new here. My nation is Cantors Paradise. It is a puppet of a nation that has been in NationStates for a long time, and which is stuck in a dying region. I'm a scout looking for a better one. Specifically, I'm looking for a region that is fun, one that has a vibrant and amusing RMB, and that does not force me onto Discord. I think this could be that region (or maybe not). Warnings in advance: I am very uninterested in the WA, or in traditional roleplay.

You can taco bout it all you want, but I've been in the WA in the past. It is boring and unpleasant (to me). If you feel differently, you certainly should enjoy it!
I'm "stuck" because there is no point in leaving until I find someplace better. Then I won't be stuck any more. Unless it dies before I find anything better, in which case I'll be stuck in The Rejected Realms, which I don't look on as an improvement.

Fine, but not very Cangstery. ("Mr. Cangsta" makes me think of a kangaroo gone bad, which is a very poor description of either myself or this nation.)

Uh... Well that's a funny attitude to have I guess. Will you answer if it's one of the leaders of the region you're currently in, asking you about it? Cause that'd be nice.
(Not that refusing to answer someone we have listed as an RMB mod and who is our current Delegate is the greatest but oh well)

You say your main nation is old, you even know to call this one a puppet, and the way you talk about the old region leads one to think it was at least somewhat active once.
All those answers lead one to think you've been on NS for at least a hot minute or two. Taking all that into account your very defensive/mysterious stance and refusal to disclose what region you hail from raise some alarms... And I'm assuming you'd give a very similar response if you were asked about what your main nation is... This all without even touching on your slightly rude attitude.

Spooky. :o I like your flag, Cantor, so sparkly. :) One time I spent 2 weeks in The Rejected Realms and hung out on their RMB after I got banned from my home region. It wasn't so bad, tbh. Their RMB is low key pretty active and they're nice over there. The only thing is you're constantly dealing with new people in the region being like I DID NOTHING WRONG, IVE BEEN UNJUSTLY BANNED!! And that's annoying. Feeling like you have to shift away from home can be totally disorienting. But I think trying out new places is a great idea. :) I hope you find something you love! The right community can make all the difference in the world. Most of our activity here does really go to Discord, but we stay pretty active on the RMB too and we have a few RMB-exclusive people. ^-^ Maybe you guys can keep each other company. Anyway, good luck on your regional journeys!

Oh jeez San Francisco. Funnily enough, the smelliest thing I’ve ever smelled was in San Fran. I was at a beach and there was this one bathroom that I was going to go to and all I had to do was get one whiff and look at it and I was legging it back to the ocean to wash my eyes and nose out. I’ll spare everyone the details, we’ll just say it wasn’t very well maintained, but some people didn’t seem to care
I do not mean to be rude, but I see no reason to reveal everything about myself at this time. If this disqualifies me from staying here to find out whether I'd like to be here more permanently, I hope the residents will let me know, and I will leave. Some bits of information that I will give you, however. I have been playing NationStates for 12 years. I am not a raider, and I have a strong dislike of the whole raiding business. I loved life in my current region. Then the founder wiped out the region for unknown reasons. It has since been refounded, but it is a shadow of itself, and the new founder seems to have very little interest in it. All that made the old version of the region so much fun has been destroyed.
I note that there was no reason, if I was here for nefarious purposes, for me to introduce myself. I certainly could have impersonated an innocent newbie, or even hidden in the shadows to see if anyone noticed me. Further, I have told no lies, though I don't suppose there is any way for you to verify that. I ask that you treat this nation as you would any newcomer, and allow me my present anonymity.
