A New FutureIt is with great excitement that we announce a new chapter in the story of Laraniem. However, this time the story takes place in a different setting.
As many of you may be aware, our regional relationship with our friends over at Alcris is very strong. With the recent drop in activity we have faced in Laraniem, we have decided it is best to let Laraniem rest in peace, as we shift ourselves over to Alcris in a merger. This is a very exciting moment! Not only will we still have everything we love about Laraniem, but also be able to make new friends and create exciting new opportunities for all of us, as we explore a new side to NationStates. And, according to some sources, they have cake too...

✪ If you're a resident of Laraniem, simply move your nation over to Alcris, and 
join the Discord.
✪ Foreign Ambassadors/embassy friends, please let us know if you have any questions, and/or would like to continue relations with us in Alcris. The Discord Server is also open to anyone wanting to say hi.
For the time being, we'll let the region of Laraniem sleep. While we strongly encourage nations to move to our new home in Alcris, no nations will be removed from the region. A password, however, will be put in place, to ensure the protection of the region in the case of vulnerability. The regional Discord shall also face a similar situation, with all channels closed for discussion, leaving the server as an archive of our great times in the region.
All operations will be moved to Alcris.
An entry permit will be available for entry into Laraniem, for special situations and circumstances.

Laraniem was a small community, occupying the outer reaches of Nationstates. Small and tightly-knit, Laraniem rarely exceeded 20 nations, but still boasted a well-developed regional government and significant activities for its citizenry to participate in. After continuous activity years ago, Laraniem merged into Alcris around a year and a half ago, as per the time of writing. I wish its former residents all the best in future.
