Since cancer are living cells that are growing out of control, Can Cancer get cancer?

Cancer already gets cancer: cancer cells compete among each other to devour the resources in a body.

What if we tried to put cancer in its own environment? Would it evolve into something?

Cancer can't get food by itself, but if we put it on a host that could sustain the cells and give it a few hundred million years, it might become something. Or not. It could just stay as cells on the host forever, because why evolve when what you're doing is perfectly fine?

I mean you never know. What if it evolves into like a massive matter eating monster or a cuddly friendly space starfish from like stellaris? I just find it interesting.
