So I realize this is a bit early but I’ll go ahead and post this anyway. It’s only been 9 months since I first came to this region and I didn’t realize how involved I would be. This will also be the first time I actually finish an official term.

When I first started getting into government stuff, my goal was always to help the region grow and became a major part of the NS community. Of course, in the former region I was in that didn’t work out the way I wanted. However, due to Karteria’s I think it’s safe to say we’ve left a mark on NationStates as a whole.

Speaking of which, I want to thank him for giving me the chance to serve as his SFA. At the time, he told me that I was picked due to my prior experience, though admittedly I didn’t quite feel like I was the right candidate. Still, I did what I did and I hope to everyone here I was an effective Secretary.

To Funky Goats, fortunately I’m not leaving much on your plate but I hope you and Celestiam are able to come up with some ideas to get us more involved with the community.

Well, this could very well be my last official message as SFA so thanks everyone for the opportunity and maybe now I can finally get some rest.

Most sincere congratulations to President-elect New sistonia and President-Pro-Tempore-elect Ventus Prime for their victory. As a believer of collaboration between branches of Government, I look forward to working with the two of you!

I'll also tip my hat to Gallaton, Central Birdland, and The Anarchist Communist, the latter of which I shall thank for their service over the past three months. Though the office is not for you this time, I hope you will start/keep being active in the Assembly and its Committees.

News from New Sistonia

First and foremost, congratulations to everyone who ran for the GA Presidency. Gallaton had me worried there.

To those who voted for me, thank you for placing your trust in me. I have big plans for the office of the GA President, lets just hope that they're legal (kidding...or am I?).

For those who did not vote for me, I simply hope that I can prove to you that I am a President that is worth having.

Specifically, for a few people:

Gallaton, while the NWI-Conifer merger has been (relatively) recent, I am very glad to see the support that you received during this election. I sincerely hope that in the future, you are able to hold this office and make the NWI a better place for us all. Until then, I'll be watching out for you come the next election ;)

The anarchist communist, thank you for allowing me to be your running mate and for serving under you as President Pro Temp. It gave me a lot of insight into the job of the GA Presidency. Check your DMs...

Celestiam, thank you for your kind words. I look forward to working with you and the rest of your cabinet in the upcoming term.

Karteria, thank you for the endorsement. Your words were far too kind. You will be missed as Secretary-General, but I have a feeling that the office will be in good hands.

And last but not least, Ventus Prime. Thank you for running with me. I know that together we can make the General Assembly better! We shall rule the galaxy both in RP and the region.

----------

As always, if you have any questions, ideas, comments, or rude suggestions for me, I will respond within 24 hours to a telegram and within 3 for a Discord DM. If you ever need me, please reach out and contact me.

The Very Best,

Lysithea was sitting in her office when the communicator on her desk went off. “Madame Chancellor, Director Krennic is here to see you.”

Lysithea inwardly groaned. He was the last person she wanted to talk to today, but she also knew if she kept ignoring him, he would keep coming every single day. “Very well, let him in.”

Director Krennic was the kind of man who had to make his presence known, and the white cape he wore as he came in did exactly that. “Chancellor,” he said, bowing slightly. “I apologize for the sudden meeting.”

Doubtful, Lysithea thought to herself. “Director. I assume this isn’t going to be some simple visit.”

Krennic’s eyes went hard but his smile remained. “Of course, straight to the point. Then you know why I’m here.”

“I told you already Director, I do not believe a space station-”

“Stardust is more than a simple space station. It has the capability of annihilating an entire enemy fleet in one shot!”

“So that’s it, you want us to be able to annihilate thousands of people in the blink of an eye.”

“We don’t know what the Kunkengans have in terms of firepower!” Krennic’s smile was gone, instead he was standing there, his face flushed as he bared his teeth. “If anything, this would be a deterrent.”

“If anything, it’s asking to be destroyed,” Lysithea replied. Now it was her turn to smile. “I’ve looked at the blueprints Director. The station has many weak points, large enough for a fighter pilot to exploit. Believe me I would know.” Krennic was silent so she continued. “As for the amount of money it would cost, such large sums would be better off in other projects.”

“Such as the one with New sistonia?” Lysithea must’ve looked surprised for Krennic suddenly grinned. “Oh yes, word has already gotten out about that little side project. Kind of surprised you would go with them of all nations, considering the previous war your predecessor-”

“You better watch your time,” Lysithea snapped, suddenly getting to her feet. The guards behind Krennic had stiffened their posture, meaning he would be wise to choose his next words wisely.

“Of course Chancellor, forgive me,” Krennic said softly.

“Since you’re here and you’re aware of what is going on, I have a new design you and your team can tackle,” Lysithea said, pushing a small disc forward that was labeled “Bellator.” “I think this will garner your satisfaction.”

Krennic took the disc, looking at it for a moment before bowing and then leaving the office. Lysithea then sighed as she sat back in her chair. “Always a pleasure Orson...” she muttered.

A few moments later, her door opened again and this time Minister Wilmhar came in. “I’m guessing by Director Krennic’s scowling and almost snapping at me that he was just here.”

“You guess correctly,” Lysithea said stonily. She looked to her guards. “Leave us.” The guards slowly left the office without question.

Wilmhar looked confused as he sat down opposite her. “Something going on?”

“Yes and no.” Lysithea got up and went over to his seat before delicately laying in his lap.

“Really, here? You’re not the least bit concerned-?”

“Shut up,” Lysithea said, laying her head on his shoulder. “Just give me this for five minutes...” Wilmhar decided to oblige. “Krennic knew about the GA project.”

“How? The only people that knew about this beforehand were-”

“You, Raphtalia, and I,” Lysithea answered. “I’m not suspecting either of you but someone found out and talked.”

“Is it really that big of a deal?”

“No, but I don’t like it when he of all people has information to that.”

“I can tell you really don’t like that guy.”

“Oh it’s not that I don’t like him...I hate his guts.”

Patrolling magma troopers wade through a lava flow on the outskirts of Steel City, the central steel foundry on Sor. Overhead a small ship streaks across the polluted amber sky, landing quietly on an abandoned air strip.

After turning off the ship's engines the pilot turned his attention to a small computer screen on the central console. Hovering its hand over the computer's keyboard its fingers began stretching out and splitting apart into hundreds of individual digits. In a flurry they began dancing across the keys, navigating through hidden networks into the employee registry for Steel City's foundry. The pilot scrolled through the employees until he found his cover identity, Richard Stewman. In two quick taps he changed Stewman's classification on the registry from "ON LEAVE [MEDICAL]" to "RE-INTEGRATED."

The pilot exited his ship, quickly placed a small explosive in the engine's air intake, and began making his way towards the glimmering lights of Steel City in the distance. He paused briefly and looked at his right breast pocket with the same flash of awareness of someone that realized they forgot their keys. In an instant, a small name patch began growing out of the space, first shining in brilliant chrome and slowly turning into a fabric pattern with the name "STEWMAN" printed in dark teal coloring.

All nine members of the Surveyors Council have convened for a meeting in their chambers somewhere underneath the Royal Imperial Army HQ on Salsol.

As usual, all but Moff Larx and Grand Moff Redd are calling in via hologram. In preparation for war they are all dressed in their respective fatigues and battle armor.

"The WASP Unit?" asked Moff Black, removing his resting arm from the infantry helmet on the table. "What the hell is that?"

"They're something one of those crazy researchers whipped up on World's End. I remember asking them to come up with some sort of infiltration unit back during the rebel conflict. Too bad they finished the program once the war was over..." answered Moff Kraven, arms crossed over his menacing HORNET armor.

"I get that, but what are they exactly?" replied Moff Black.

"Some kind of machine, or a collection of machines I think. I don't really remember too well..." answered Moff Kraven, his voice giving away near the end.

"So what exactly are we talking about here?" chimmed in Moff Maxum as she dusted the front of her white starfighter jumpsuit. "What kind of machine?"

"I- I dont really remember what they were. Commander Zev explained it to me once when I went to see them a few years back..." answered Moff Kraven.

"It was a whole load of science nonsense. He called them 'nanomorphs' or something. A bunch of tiny nanomachines that were able to replicate whatever they wanted. They can make themselves look like almost anything, that crazy bastard Zev had them turning into chairs, desks, lamps. Hell, he even had one tear off a piece of itself and turn it into a wrist watch while it played chess with me disguised as myself."

"Are they stable?" asked Moff Pox.

"Yeah they are. Zev had them all programmed with these inhibitor controls to keep em from making complete use of their AI. But even with that they have a weird way of going about their mission parameters sometimes..." answered Moff Kraven.

"What do you mean?" asked Moff Jaxx

"They don't cut corners. You know how our droids all have those three basic bedrock rules programed in them to keep em from killing or harming any humans directly or indirectly? We'll these things don't have any of that, they're rutheless. They'll steamroll an orphanage to get to their targets, then go back to kill the witnesses to cover their tracks.

"Jesus." whispered Moff Black

"Zev also pointed out that they work more efficiently together, but extended exposure to each other can make them unstable. He said they have a 'weird' way of communicating with each other that transcends his programing. I don't know about it all, but it gives me the creeps." continued Moff Kraven.

"Whoa, if its enough to make the head of the Hornets turn white they must be quite the unit." sneered Moff Larx, his officers uniform neatly pressed but still giving away a few noticeable liquor stains.

"You dont know the half of it Larx." snapped Moff Kraven.

"Why didn't any of us know about this? Some of us are frankly getting sick and tiered of being left of the loop." clamored Moff Jaxx.

"Settle down. Moff Kraven informed me of the units creation during the rebel conflict, but considering we never made use of them I felt their secrecy was something that was in all of our best interest." came the flat reply from Grand Moff Redd. "Now you're probably wondering why we convened a meeting to discuss these units, I'm sure you're all busy with your own preparations at the moment."

The surveyors nodded in agreement.

"Well." said Grand Moff Redd, adjusting his tie, "It's because we've dispatched six of them undercover to strategic points on Sor, Wilo, Jet, Hostis, Keratos, and Arellium."

Moff's Pox, Julius, and Wiler stood up in outrage and began yelling on top of each other about how it was insane to have these killer robots on the planets they surveyed without their consent.

"The decision was made after we received tips of Ventuan espionage on our war production efforts." said Grand Moff Redd, ignoring the irritated prattling of the other Surveyors. "Our intel has given us a name and photo of one of the spies, although we are unsure where she may be sticking her nose in at the moment. That's why we cast such a wide net."

He pulled up a display of the spy in question for all of the Surveyors to see. "Sinon Asada. Soldier turned mercenary and likely embedded somewhere in our colonies as we speak. She is the WASP's quarry.

"This is an outrage!" exclaimed Moff Wiler "How the hell are we supposed to know they aren't already killing our colonists or our troops right now?"

"Their locations and logical processes are monitored by Commander Zev and transmitted to me every couple hours or so. I've made that data available to all of you if you just update your central computers." answered Moff Kraven. "We'd know if they killed anybody."

Somewhere on the busy streets of Arellium's financial district a Royal Police Milita cruiser pulls up beside a young couples speeder. The officer steps to their door and conducts a routine traffic stop, but before he lets the couple go he leans into their window and pulls out a holodisk displaying a photo of Sinon Asada. "Have you seen this woman" the officer asks in a chillingly clear voice.

RPM officer Benny Rush's dead body stood straight up in his apartment, folded into a thick carpet and stowed away in a broom closet.

On a snowed in research facility somewhere on the planet Hostis a group of scientists sit around for lunch and talk about their respective projects. "I was actually expecting to meet up with one of my old appretinces today, she was flying in from out of the system" one scientist explains as he lays down a photograph of Sinon "Have any of you seen her around here?"

Dr. Fritz Leiter's dead body lay somewhere in the frozen tundra, buried under several feet of snow that will never melt.

A group of young cadets run along the shores of a beach somewhere on Keratos. Their commanding officer watches them from a far off guard tower. Turning towards the setting sun he picks up a transmitter and switches it to the base-wide frequency. "Alert! This is the central command warning system for Base 12-09." the CO begins, his voice perfectly mimicking the electronic female voice of the real warning system. "We have reports of a deserter and per regulation the base will be placed under immediate lockdown. Please return to your barracks now for headcount and sorting into search parties." In the distance the running cadets begin scrambling back towards the base.

Drill Sergeant Kelsey Lebow's dead body was slowly sliding down a trash chute, making its way towards a incinerator a few feet below.

Streams of cargo ships fly in and out of the traders depots that litter the lower orbit of the merchant's colony Jet. Most of them end up taking a pit stop at the orbiting space cantina "The Bouncing Betty", a favorite destination for teamsters in the area. A surly cargo ship pilot wanders in the cantina and places his blaster at the door, per the rules. "Archie!" the bar patrons exclaim as he enters. Waving the cheers away with a smile he grabs a seat at the bar. "Just pulled a non stop shuttle run through the Tyker Pass and my ass is as sore as ever! Say I was supposed to be meeting this one broad here, bitch owes me a couple favors." he slides a photo of Sinon to the patrons.

Archie Spezyk's dead body was drifting slowly into the black expanse of space, lightyears away from the closest planet.

Two miners blast through age old rock formations as huge mining droids drill towards a reflective black ore somewhere on the planet Wilo. "This is one of the biggest deposits I've seen in a while Davis!" one of the miners yells over the noise of the mech suits drilling. "I can't hear you." the other miner yells back. "I said, this is one of the biggest deposits I've seen in a whi-" before he could finish his sentence a massive stalactite drops from the ceiling and lands directly on the miners head, splitting it apart. "HOLY HELL!" cried out the other miner as he quickly radios the droids to stop drilling. He rushes over the other miners body and blanches as he notices no blood pooling and no open wounds. Only a sickening reflective metal sheen where the skin broke open. The miner's split head was now slowly forming back together, pushing the stalactite out. "What- Orville, what the hell is going on..." the other miner asked, knowing full well that what he was talking to was certainly not Orville. The miners mouth puckered open and shut like a fish as his head slowly came back together and then closed as he laid still. "O-rville?" asked the other miner "We need to get you to a doctor..." he adds, reaching out to grab the stalactite. "I feel fine, help me up" calls out the miner, extending his hand out slowly. "I feel fine."

Orville Christensen's dead body lay beside his partner Davis McKesson's, somewhere deep inside a cave that would never be explored again.

2148 was right around the corner. For this special party, Ariana had rented out an entire hotel for this event. Leaders from all over the world arrived to the party, sipping wine and eating the various foods being served. The hotel was built to overlook the Atlantic ocean, where boats floated in the waters to prep for the fireworks show.

Ariana couldn't help but be a little disappointed that some allies couldn’t show. But never the less, she was happy with the turnout.

As the time reached midnight, Ariana decided to get everyone’s attention. She wanted them to have a chance to speak their mind about the diplomatic relations between our nations.

She dinged her glass, which prompted everyone to turn to her. The music stopped, the conversations stopped, and everyone focused on her

“Hello everyone. First I’d like to thank you for coming to the party. It means a lot you managed to make it. As you know, i wanted to invite you here in order to strengthen our relations. Ever since the late Chancellor Shadow’s death, I’ve been thinking about how important it is to make friends, and appreciate those who are close to you. And you’re all close to me. So i wanted to host this to show my appreciation. Would anyone like to say any words?”

Somewhat awkwardly, whether it was from the wine or just nerves, Lysithea decided to stand up first. “First of all Madame President, I just want to thank you for inviting us here tonight. My predecessor would’ve loved to have been here as well and honestly I would’ve preferred him to do the talking while I take care of the drinking.”

She paused as many people chuckled. “Unfortunately, while this is a time to be merry, there is a lot on my mind. It’s one thing to fight a war, it’s another to fight one with an enemy you know nothing about. I’ve made it clear that I won’t drag anyone into this conflict unwillingly but I can assure you, if we don’t stand up, then who will? Because if somehow we lost this fight and Kunkenga continues what they’re doing now, all of Earth- no, all of the galaxy will be at risk. So I ask all of you here tonight, what will you do to help prevent a tragedy like on Szel?” She then took a swig from her glass before promptly sitting down.

Sinon was almost holding her breath as she did passed by the planet’s defense force. Their presence alone told her that this planet was of major importance. As she entered the planet’s atmosphere, she was able to spot Steel City and decided to land a few klicks outside the city’s outskirts.

The area was covered by flowing magma, though the area she landed on seemed stable. As soon as she opened her canopy, she could feel the heat brush against her, along with the smell of sulphur. The air quality was pretty bad but she had an oxygen mask just in case.

She scanned the area with her electrobinoculars. There didn’t seem to be any mining areas nearby so she had two choices: either recon the entire area for a mining facility or go into the city and look for a mining transport. As risky as it was, the latter was really her only option.

Fortunately, her attire was heat resistant, though she could feel her body already starting to sweat. She put on a faded cloak that shielded her face. Couldn’t be too careful.

She made her way towards the city, her side arm concealed at her waist. She would have to keep moving and keep an eye out for any patrols.

King Nicola caressed his mustaches. Chancellor Furlan knew that that was a great hint of him thinking intensively.
"I think our nation has been quiet for a little too long on this matter. We share a border along the Alps with Kunkenga  and we can't ignore his attacks to our allies anymore. If help is needed we'll gladly send it.".
The King paused and glared at Furlan: "Chancellor?"
The Chancellor stopped eating the delicious salmon tartar and ricomposed nervously.
"Yes Your Majesty?" He said with the mouth probably still full of tartar.
The King sighed.
"Show them our plans for an eventual preemptive attack and the project we have worked on during this period of neutrality. We're all allies in this meeting."

Chancellor Furlan took out an olographic projector and displayed a map of the north italian-kunkengan border along the Alps. The mountains where covered in detailed military formations and strategic arrows. The chancellor showed the next slide. Thousands of bunkers where being built among all the Alpine terrestrial borders of the NIU along with advanced defense technology.

The King pointed at the olographic image.
"This will be a new Maginot line. Albeit hopefully this time will work against a german" he smirked. "We are ready to use the invasion plan if it will be deemed necessary. I invite all of our allies to prepare for a new war as well. Nationalist german empire seems to have returned to a peaceful life but this new nation has potential to be a new NGE. We should stay prepared. Even on space colonies."

Lysithea nodded in agreement. “Your Majesty, if your colonies are in need of extra protection, you need but ask. Our fleets are prepared to depart at a moment’s notice. And that goes for anyone here.”

My final State of the Region Address.

S T A T E O F T H E R E G I O N A D D R E S S

For a long time, I had difficulty imagining this day would ever come. In the midst of policymaking, administration, and diplomacy, I had not pondered the end of my term. But, however slowly, I began to wonder about the end and relish in the time I have spent as Secretary-General. I shall utilize the final day of my term to address our growth as a region, my efforts in that vein, some long-warranted expressions of gratitude, my future plans, and the future of our community.

I was inaugurated on July 1st, 2019, nearly a year after I first became a citizen. It began with a bang; I banned one of our most toxic members, an event I do not cherish in memory. This individual cared more about themselves than others wherever they participated, a value leading to the heinous acts. I also later banned a similar individual for election fraud, in which they used the accounts of other citizens to gain an electoral advantage. It is highly unfortunate that individuals within our community sought to act in such ways, but they luckily do not represent the rest of us or our values. It is promising that these incidents, while noteworthy, were few and far between.

The region came of age when I was Secretary-General, mainly outside of my influence. Despite roleplaying remaining a critical activity, we were no longer solely dedicated to fictional writing, and our culture has become diverse and beautiful. Unlike my era, some new players immigrated primarily for government and lawmaking, such as Twelve titans, Reno sheriffs department, Celestiam, and PotaTown. Our laws now stand the test of time, with marvelously crafted statutes and Constitutional Amendments. New awards and distinctions were created to honor those who gave great service to the community. Discord stations, individual channels managed by a single citizen, contribute fascinating creativity. New public channels, such as #hall-of-art and #bits-bytes-beats-beets, developed new strands of culture. The Roleplay Committee, founded by The Honorable New United Carolinas, has grown our roleplay’s world-building and increased citizen participation in community functions. Unlike the beginning of my term, we are not ‘coming of age’ any longer. We know exactly who we are: a group of friends dedicated to creativity, inclusiveness, and diversity of thought and expression. How we go about that expression has never been more rich.

Throughout my two terms in office, I have committed my share of mistakes. In my private capacity, I founded the Progressive Party and championed the formation of other parties in pursuit of political activism. Instead, I feel responsible for spawning new toxicity and division amongst our ranks, as well as providing an incentive for the election fraud that occurred in the fall of 2019. This effort was not the proper direction for our region. Yet, if I can claim anything, I learned from my errors and accepted the consequences of my decisions. In December, I disbanded the Progressive Party, leading the other two parties to follow suit. Despite the fraternity of the Progressives and our electoral victories, I do not regret my decision to put the region over party and others over self-interest. The shared sentiments of my political compatriots when discussing the decision was a testament to the region at-large.

During our coming of age, I learned other significant lessons. Embassies rose and fell, leading me to believe that we should maintain caution regarding with whom we align. Regions that I thought shared our values instead resorted to poaching recruits or harboring misconduct. Interregional unions that I thought had the best of intentions devolved into toxicity. I realized throughout the relations we sought and the negotiations we conducted that many regions and organizations do not share our same sense of inclusiveness and understanding of diversity. We ought to manage our foreign affairs better than I have in the past.

Before I conclude my term, I must individually thank my Secretaries, the people who stood by me, helped the region, and helped me be a better citizen and governor. I will also thank the Founder, who I interacted with frequently in my endeavors.

Luraqau:
I am sorry that your time as Secretary of Internal Affairs ended as it did. However, during your time in government, you contributed to the stability of the region when it needed you the most. Thank you for dealing with my requests and putting in your best effort.

Kronshtadt:
While your time as Secretary of Administration was short, I appreciate your work that has been done for the region and your contributions to the roleplay, which cannot be overstated. In retrospect, perhaps SA was not the best position for you, but I appreciate your willingness to assist regardless.

Ventus Prime:
You were an unexpected success story. Our Secretary of Foreign Affairs position has included not-so-glamorous servants, but you are easily among the best. You were proactive, supportive, cognizant of your tasks, and trustworthy. I only hope the Department continues your newfound legacy.

The sakura nippon:
It is certain that Secretary of Defense and Information was not the most exciting position. Nonetheless, you were extensively reliable in your tasks. I always knew that you would be available whenever I needed you, and you showed an effective ability for investigation. All I could ask for was someone who is responsive, and that you were. I am proud to confer you the rare First Class Government Award for dealing with me for a full year.

Achipel:
I have no doubt clashed with you before on policy making and legislation. Nevertheless, the stability you provide for the region merely by being involved as Founder, as well as the dedication above and beyond what can be expected, is commendable. I could not have been as effective without your fortitude.

Cymiopolis:
I still remember when we were both Secretaries under Volirum. You have always been dedicated to whatever was required of you, whether it was foreign affairs, mapmaking, or cultural events. Despite your obvious love for roleplay, what you have is rare: the ability to be effective at whatever you set your mind to. The region, and especially I, are incredibly lucky to have you as a Secretary.

New united carolinas:
You feel like my protégé in many ways. Somehow, you spent 5 months in my Department of Administration as the government’s first employee. Afterwards, you became my second Secretary of Administration, leading the Department in every way I could have hoped. After all this time, you still remain as energized as ever, leading both the DA and the Roleplay Committee to new heights. I am proud and incredibly grateful to call you Secretary, and I know you will succeed with whatever you choose to do in your future.

So then, what is my future? I am sure at least a couple of you care to know. Despite my ability to later run again for Secretary-General, I have no intention to be this region’s head of government ever again. The New West Indies is home to many aspiring citizens who want to participate in government and contribute to the community. It is their time to shine now. In a similar vein, I do not want to become a Secretary again. It is time for me to push towards a new path in the judiciary. As soon as possible, I would like to be the second Region’s Attorney, hoping to continue Celestiam’s legacy of poise and prose. It is a position I have been looking forward to for a long time. I also hope to keep working hard on the wiki, adding dozens of new pages on citizens, topics, and events.

What about our future? The newly-elected Celestiam will not only continue in my footsteps as Secretary-General, but will far exceed whatever I was able to accomplish. He will bring the New West Indies to heights it has never seen before, and I can only hope that I helped pave the way.

In the long-term, I am not sure what it has in store for us, but if I may request anything, it will be as follows. Never give into toxicity. Racism, bigotry, doxxing, or any other kind of hatred and gastly inappropriate behavior have no place in this community. That is easy for me to say, but what does that mean for you? It obviously means that moderators should promote positive conduct and suppress misconduct, as is their constant duty. But each citizen also has an individual responsibility; if you want the New West Indies to continue to be a fun and inclusive place for all, you must maintain good character and encourage others to do so. Report misbehavior, call it out when you see it, and suggest how people can be better. Our community is in each and every one of you, and its success or failure depends on what kind of person you decide to be.

Most of all, support each other. Love each other. With selflessness in hand – plus a little luck – we will flourish to the ends of NationStates.

*BREAKING NEWS*

ST-LAMBROS | Lambrinia, Cymiopolis

The "Guyana cell" of the LLF has announced that a hostage, the Lambrinian Minister of Finances, has been executed. He was strangled and then stuffed in the trunk of a car and abandoned in the bush near New Corinth Airport, over 300 km from St-Lambros. A communique to police advising that Pavlos Papadopoulos has been executed refers to him derisively as the "minister of financial ruin".

In another communique issued by the "Liberation cell" holding Portinabican diplomat Albrecht Núñez, his kidnappers declare that they are suspending indefinitely the death sentence against him, but they will not release him until their demands are met, and that he will be executed if the "fascist police" discover them and attempt to intervene. The demands they make are:
1) The publication of the LLF manifesto.
2) The release of 23 "political prisoners".
3) An airplane to take them to either Luraqau or Joshenia (both countries that they feel a strong connection to because of their struggle against colonialism and imperialism).
4) A "voluntary tax" of 500,000 dollars to be loaded aboard the plane prior to departure.
5) The name of the informer who had sold out the LLF activists earlier in the year.

“But to answer your question, yes we are certainly willing to sell, if you’re willing to buy. Normally we charge our customers full price but with you I’m sure I can convince them to give you a discount. Consider it a way to start our wonderful friendship.”

Kiyomi was rather surprised that the technology they were utilizing to build the spacecraft had some more complex technology used into it than in other spacecrafts, she scratched her head and shrugged.

Kiyomi: "I guess that's why we are having a bit of a struggle in developing it," she says with a giggle, "I would be interested in buying spacecrafts but I'll have to ask for price numbers, I don't want to go over budget since I spent too many Yens on dresses than on food," she says.

Ventus Prime wrote:The ship that came down was different from the one she saw the last one. It was a J-Type 327 Starship, the same one Chancellor Shadow used for his own vacations. Once it landed, both Lysithea and Raphtalia stepped out and made their way to the Palace.

As she was watching television one of her servants entered the room quickly and bowed, they then took her bags and explained the situation.

Servant: "Your Heavenly Majesty, they have arrived," he said with grey tail shifting from one side to another. Kiyomi got off the seiza and has grabbed her bag and left the Palace. As soon as the Palace doors opened Kiyomi stood next to the servant as they saw Lysithea and Raphtalia approaching, bowing respectfully.

Kiyomi: "Greetings again Chancellor and Raphtalia, how has the day been?" she asked as she stood back up.

Scherzinger wrote:I was a busy girl. I didn't like socializing with others or getting into typical childhood things because I always thought that they were counter-intuitive to my learning. Competitions were fun, but I did them for approval from my parents. Just so I knew what I was doing was worth the time and was making my parents happy. I uh, share the same fate in a way with you. This bow, here uh, was the last thing my parents gave to me before they were both killed in a car accident. They both died holding each of my hands. It's still rather hard to accept but, Erwin makes things easier." *Momo had an equally difficult time trying to speak as well, as her parents death was still fresh in her mind, and but 2 years old*

"Honestly, I loved my childhood. Even with no friends to speak of I had enough to do to keep me busy. It was only when I really ran out of activities to keep me occupied did I really start to get into my own head and accept the reality of my situation. You beliefs are rather inspirational, and I am glad that we share similar beliefs, although you likely practice your Shinto much more often than I do mine. I am sure that you will find someone, and if not here, im certain there is plenty of people in my country that would love to associate themselves with the likes of yourself my Empress, im sure of it." *She said bowing again*

*Momo listened to Kiyomi speak more, the mention of an offering made her become quite energetic* "Yes! Yes please!" *she said, almost shouting, excitedly.* "I apologize, I did not mean to become so vocal. Forgive me"

Kiyomi: "Ah, your parents gave you something to remember upon, that is lovely," she says faintly to her, "Life throw things down upon us and it is up to us to get back up Momo, certainly no one has had it easy in Japan especially during our period of isolationism and economic stagnation." she says. Kiyomi giggled faintly as Momo became energetic

Kiyomi: "It is okay, I would understand if I were in your shoes, I would be definitely be jumping up and down a bed if there were one." she says as they reached the Kyoto Imperial Palace, the door of the limousine opened and everyone got out of the limousine one by one, "Welcome to my birthplace, the Kyoto Imperial Palace, it holds a special place to me as I was born in the Gardens of this palace, my mother and father wanted to gave birth to me near a shrine so that the kami of this shrine can bless me, I am not sure what blessing I got if I did get any, most of the things that has happened to me were rather miserable events, anyways follow me," she says as she leads the group into the Kyoto Palace.
