“Fighting to a draw is a textbook win.” No? A textbook win is a win. A draw is a win for neither side. Canada maintained its colonial status and the US asserted its independence to the British. Both sides got what they primarily wanted, hence it was a draw.

I never said that the specific people who burned Washington were Canadian I said most people on the British side during the war were Canadian And we won because you attacked us and we fought it of and defend our self and lost no territory so that is a win.
