Fellow Omnites,

Inauguration of the next Government of OmniOne

To usher in the next government of OmniOne, there will be a ceremony celebrating the transfer of power tomorrow (6 June). This will be followed by the actual inauguration where members of the elected cabinet will take their oaths of office on the regional message board, alongside each of their regional addresses to the region.

Likewise, councillors elected to Parliament will take the oath of office tomorrow in the House of Councillors (on Discord), and all councillor-elects are invited to give their own speech in that channel. Fellow Omnites, right now is one of the easiest times to say that Omnione is failing. Between a secession crisis, high profile departures, the crumbling of our alliances, and the common problem of inactivity, it may seem like our region has nowhere to go but down. That is not the case. OmniOne is whole. No matter who seceedes or leaves, that will always be the case. OmniOne will always prevail. Omnione didn’t get where it is today by being any average region. OmniOne is where it is today because of what OmniOne stands for. OmniOne is a region built on the values of personal freedom and democracy. Those who seek to bring us down are not. Those who abandon and denigrate us do not see OmniOne for what it really is. Those who attack our name in the world stage are fundamentally wrong. OmniOne will succeed because OmniOne is built for anyone and everyone. Our strength comes from inclusivity. Crises will come and go but OmniOne will always remain the same. A region always able to grow and improve. A region dedicated to its citizens.

Look how far we’ve already come. We are in the top 200 regions in the NS world out of some twenty six thousand. Our community is so enticing it brings people who denounced the region and left back as alts because they still want to be a part of it. Our government always works to represent the interests of the people unlike many other regions. Because of where OmniOne is now, there is nothing that is not within our capacity. The ability to improve our region and make it better than ever before lies right at our fingertips; we just need to grasp at it.

That is what we are doing right now. We are grasping at a chance for success and I have faith that we will succeed. With new and expanded recruitment practices we will bring OmniOne to population levels never before seen. With new OmniOne Defense Forces advertising we will recruit passionate new members to our defense forces to protect and serve our region. New RP and regional events will foster a sense of community that we have always strived for. New government positions will give eager Omnites the chance to improve our region. A new era starts today. We are breaking down the toxic connections that weaken us and we are building bridges to new allies who share our values. We are changing the way our government is run by including anyone who is willing to act.

The future looks bright and all we need to do now is act. I would like to thank all of you for listening to this speech. I would like to thank Gh0sty and Bluelight for leading this region to what it is today. I would to thank all those fellow Omnites who stood by OmniOne through the toughest of crises and I would like to thank all fellow Omnites for standing by us now. Thank you and may Omnione prevail.
