We as humans still developing and evolving each time, it must have been a simple evolution/gene mutation that protects and strengthen our immune against dangerous viruses/bacterias. We should be proud as humans!
Do you guys know the Martian Tripods? Martians are human-like figure/creature from the planet Mars, the story take place in Earth where currently being invaded by the Martians (Mars people). The Tripods were used by the Martians which is like a cyborg or robot that functions when the signal is received from the mothership, used to kill and extract human to a sort of energy, using our blood and meat as the fertilizer for Earth. They believed our blood is very good for plants (which is a bit controversial).
Luckily, the Martian aliens were found all dead by a ONE SPECIES OF BACTERIA THAT ATTACKS THEIR CELL SYSTEMS! It lives inside human bodies too!
