LASAGNA PART TWO After-Action Report

Summary:
LPT was seized during the midnight update on June 15, 2020 as part of a first-strike initiative authorized by the Ravana Parliament in response to reasonable suspicion that the Lasagna military was preparing a “show of force” to make up for perceived inadequacy during the contentious “Lasagna Affair.” The report will refer to this battle hereafter as “The Action of June 15.”

Target Description:
LPT is a founderless region and suspected puppet dump operated by the Lasagna Armed Forces (LAF or “LAFing Stock,”). It has been the site of several battles between themselves and The Black Hawks including a recent skirmish that occurred within a week before the The Action of June 15. The Lasagnian Defense Minister at the time of writing is believed to have operated a puppet out of this region and the only embassy in progress was to Lasagna.

Description Of Events:
The WAD was captured stealthily over the course of three hours as members slowly piled in to avoid triggering defender detection techniques or native suspicion. These efforts appeared hugely successful and no response has yet materialized. Native pups have left the dump under what we assume to be normal operation indicating that their level of operational intelligence is extremely low. RMBG operators masqueraded as “The SIRius People’s Liberation Front” but proper uniforms were later re-applied and the Ravanian colors run up the early morning of June 16. Ravanian forces have held the region for two consecutive updates at the time of this writing.

Damage Report:
The LPT WFE was scrapped and repainted initially with a brief message by The SIRius People’s Liberation Front and later repainted with proper Ravanian Calling Cards. The Enemy colors were struck and Ravanian flag raised over the site. One post has so far been suppressed. The embassy with Lasagna was aborted three hours from completion a scheduled Embassy Closure with The Black Hawks was halted.

Special Notes:
This Operation was planned and conducted on very short notice. Planning and execution occurred within a single update. This is a testament to the speed, agility and intelligence gathering prowess of the entire Ravanaian armed forces.

The King’s Regiment was key in shoring up Ravanian defenses the night of the June 15th.

LAFers Folly After-Action Report
June 19, 2020

Summary:
The Lasagnian Military (“LAFing Stock”) in conjunction with allied reinforcements from multiple associated regions attempted to capture the WAD of LASAGNA PART TWO (“LPT”) during the noon update on June 19, 2020. They invaded with twenty-two nations from the jump point Launch Pad but jumped from their lofty perch into a pit of razor sharp regional officers who tore the invasion to shreds in seconds. The entire invading force was disbanded and LPT remains occupied territory of Ravana. The action shall be hereafter referred to as “LAFers Folly.”

Target Description:
LPT is a founderless region and former Lasagnian puppet dump currently occupied by the Ravana Armed Forces including paramilitary militia “The Regional Message Board Guards” and “The King’s Regiment.” It was seized as part of a parliament-approved first strike effort during the Action of June 15. It has been the site of several battles between Ravana and Lasagna since the start of the current war including small skirmishes at every minor update.

Description Of Events:
Ravanian soldiers had been on high alert every update since the Action of June 15 under actionable intelligence that the LAFing Stock was determined to attempt a “liberation” of their former puppet dump. Suspicions were confirmed the night of June 18 when an errant puppet jumped a whole update too early from their staging area at the region Launch Pad. The next morning an army was discovered brewing at Launch Pad including half a dozen members of the Lasagnian government. In a second moment of spectacular incompetence a Lasagnian puppet broke operational security and lodged a post to the Launch Pad RMB that asked for information on the liberation target. His commanding officers were unable to take it down in time to avoid detection by Ravanian intelligence agents.

Ravanian Guardsmen and Royal Infantry took up defensive positions around LPT and prepared for a firefight. The LAFing stock slowly gathered upwards of 10 endorsements on their point man The grey isles (also the Lasagnian Minister of Defense) with the help of allied reinforcements. In a third moment of even more spectacularly incompetent unprofessionalism a second LAFer jumped to LPT too early by fifteen minutes. He was allowed to leave without notice in order to fool the Lasagnians into believing the position was unguarded.

The trumpet blared. The LAFing Stock charged. And found LPT as deftly guarded as it had been every night since the Action of June 15. Victory was easily achieved.

Damage Report:
Twenty-two enemy nations were banjected by the righteous hand of Ravana. Dog tags recovered during burial duty identified the following nations among the LAFer dead:

Lasagna After-Action Report
July 8, 2020

Summary:
Lasagna was temporarily seized during the midnight update of July 7-8, 2020 after a prolonged infiltration campaign. Agents secured the WAD long enough to demonstrate the superior skills and might of the Ravana Armed Forces and used their power to impose the Dinnertime Peace Treaty upon the natives of that place, ending the war with a decisive Ravanian victory. This action shall hereafter be referred to as “Lasagnas Last Stand.”

Target Description:
Lasagna is a respectably large region with a population of 53 nations (at time of writing) and a fully formed – if not entirely active – government. It is a member region of The Assembly of Regions and has Defender sympathies. At time of writing it is an enemy of Ravana, having suffered multiple defeats at the hands of our paramilitary divisions but stubbornly maintaining an impudent and impotent war effort. The night of the attack their WAD held a firm twelve endorsements (plus four more from our infiltrators) and their founder was active.

Description Of Events:
Despite the impossibility of a long-term seize-and-capture operation (due to the active founder), High Command believed it would be beneficial to demonstrate the full incompetence of the Lasagna Armed Forces (LAF or “LAFing Stock”) by capturing the WAD of their capital region. The Dinnertime War began when Lasagna threatened to raid Ravana as a “show of force” and would be poetically concluded with a mirrored exercise.

Planning began in the late days of June, shortly after their third attempted Security Council proposal against Ravana bombed. One of Lasagnas citizens had launched a brief recruitment telegram campaign that was seized upon as a means of infiltrating the region. Several disguised puppets piloted by elite Ravanian agents nested within Lasagna and one even attempted to directly infiltrate their government. There was some discussion of using our minor influence to mangle their electoral politics from within, but the natives’ promised parliamentary elections were either delayed or forgotten and our candidates decided it wasn’t worth the effort to wait.

Our point nation, Northsouthlenny, gained a base of native support totaling 8 endorsements and was further bolstered by reinforcements that trickled in throughout the week for another five-six endorsements. Infiltrators were careful to endorse the native WAD, Ile Morice, both to disguise their intent and to artificially inflate the defensive strength of the position thereby lulling the Lasagnians into a false sense of security. Public statements from Lasagnian officials profess they were aware of the puppet infiltrators, but they were either extremely derelict in their duties or must not have been totally convinced of a plot because no action was taken against our agents prior to the Action of July 7.

The night of July 7th, members of The King’s Regiment and the RMBG, in conjunction with several independent contractors, introduced the final agents to the mix and prepared to simultaneously de-endorse the Lasagnian WAD. The plan was executed flawlessly and the Ravanian flag was hoisted over the region.

Damage Report:
The Lasagnian colors were struck and their WFE was erased and repainted with the Ravanian calling card. All dispatches were removed, and the Dinnertime Peace Treaty was pinned for public viewing. A suppression campaign was launched against their RMB and an uncountable number of posts were forcibly truncated. Their embassies with Abydos and Old Zealand were symbolically ordered “closed” (the first for its secession from the Sovereign Imperial Realms, and the second for its atrocious behavior toward distinguished members of the Security Council). The grey isles, the Lasagnian minister of defense and leader of their army, was symbolically and satisfyingly banned.

While Ravana was in control of the regions executive offices we imposed the terms of the Dinnertime Peace Treaty upon them. The puppet government declared the war over and a solid Ravanian victory. Ravanian soldiers paraded over the Lasagna RMB for a full hour before the bugle was sounded and troops were ordered to return to barracks at Ravana. Some stragglers remained behind – no doubt senselessly inebriated from the heady drink of victory.

The raid was quickly detected by native authorities who rushed to warn their founder. There was some speculation among our agents that – after the Lasagnians criticized our founder for taking an “unfair” active role in defense – they would refrain from what they publicly believed was dishonorable behavior, but this was not the case. The founder reversed some of the damage – the WFE remained blank for several hours and many of the suppressed posts remain suppressed – and the LAFing Stock has pledged to hunt down any remaining infiltrators. Their successfulness remains to be seen.
