On a side note: I think the ST2 uniforms are the best uniforms

I finally got around to watching Star Trek IV, good movie

... on a side note there's a surprising amount of profanity for a Trek movie

Next is VI
I refuse to watch V (just bad movie) and I (sluggishly paced from what i heard)

The federation-state of lazy people

Yay. Biggest basket weaving sector in the galaxy... or region... or whatever we are. Weaving baskets is nice because it doesn't take much work.

hey everyone

So what's the latest sci-fi show or movie you saw last? For me, it was a Dr. Who episode.

The federation-state of lazy people

Also, in what is already appearing to be a classic Lazy People move, our country has now just redefined pi to be only 3.2. Saves on having to do unnecessary math.

Some Stargate SG1

heya everyone, again

The federation-state of lazy people

3rd out of 4 is WAY too high a rank for the Lazy People in largest manufacturing in the sector. We should be dead last in everything involving work! (Unless, someone gifted us some robots that do manufacturing for us... Hmm... maybe that's the reason).

Interstellar Dreadnaught Event Horizon, sorry we missed your transmission. Our comm system was down. Again. I managed to jury rig it with some duct tape and copper wire. Everything around here always falls apart. Over.

  • Captain, we have returned to complete our research.

  • We are attempting to contact the more remote stations in preparation for a deep space mission to the lesser known portions of the Galaxy.

  • Since our current mission is primarily scientific exploration, we wish to inquire as to any abnormal or unusual observations made here.

  • Should you have noted anything, we would appreciate a copy of your records, and observation notes, to allow incorporation into our mission parameters.

  • Do you have anything that you wish to share with us?

  • Over.

This is the Conclave. We read you loud and clear, Interstellar Dreadnaught Event Horizon.

A lotta weird stuff happens out here in the Deep. I think we got a ghost or somethin’ down in Hold 4. Stuff’s always gettin’ moved around down there. Seems to move on it’s own. No sensor readings, but I do have some grainy security camera footage, if you’re interested.

‘Bout half a lightyear away there’s a moon with some real spooky ruins. Nothin’ down there but rock and stone, and the occasional artifact. I’ve got pictures and sensor readings of the ruins, if you want ‘em.

  • Thank you Conclave

  • Even insignificant items such as the security footage may be of interest

  • Please transmit your data

  • We shall visit the moon with ruins first

  • Your assistance is greatly appreciated

Sorry about the delayed response; our transmitter blew a couple fuses, and I had to jury rig spares. I’m transmitting the data now. Clear skies, Event Horizon. Nice meetin’ you. If you ever need help, let me know.

The federation-state of lazy people

Sweet! The Federation State of Lazy People has just been ranked in the top 1% of all NS nations for being the most politically apathetic!

The federation-state of lazy people

Also, in a reaction I can't understand, we just voted to include guinea pigs, aardvaarks, eyeballs and other gross things on the menus of Lazy People restaurants, and our Charmlessness percentage went DOWN. We somehow got more charm by having those nasty things on menus! Don't ask me how.

Spare parts? Good question. We will need at ask Prime Minister The united radds about that. They manage our increasingly over-complicated tech and weapons arsenal.

Now that you mention it, you folks wouldn’t happen to have any state of the art custodial equipment?

I’m the space janitor over at The Planet X, and this old busted up mop sure ain’t doing the trick — especially not for the amount of drool I have to mop up from our accountant, Devilish orcs

I think we still have that lot of old cleaning droids. No idea how many work, but there’s enough parts to build at least one functioning droid.

The federation-state of lazy people

We were so lazy, we forgot to check in and solve some issues. But no worries. The Lazy People garnered enough energy to come back to the region! Now it's time for a nap. That was too taxing for us.

The federation-state of lazy people

Checking in again. Our pizza delivery sector is 224th in the world as of today! At the rate we're going, the Lazy People might just get the coveted #1 slot sometime in the next few years!
