The nations of NationStates must make a crucial choice, between Caelapes, a tried-and-tested leader who has experience running the General Assembly, and a pawn of the most infamous raiding region, Trans anarcho-communist lesbian catgirls.
CAELAPES: THE PEOPLE'S CHOICE
Four years ago, the nations of NationStates resoundingly elected Caelapes, a storied nation who has been integral to NationStates for over a decade, as their Secretary General. Under their steadfast leadership, the World Assembly has passed hundreds of resolutions since 2016, and most importantly, maintained a firm policy of no tolerance toward predatory raiding by passing countless condemnations of raiders and commendations of defenders.
Caelapes has not backed down to raiders, no matter how fierce their intimidation tactics. They have always stood as a defender of the common people, and this year, they have a new plan to continue the march of progress: Caelapes will fight to devolve more power from the WA to the regions, give equal nations equal votes and combat the influence of entrenched puppets.

But this year, the World Assembly faces an unprecedented threat to its most defining values of defending independent regions and serious leadership: Trans anarcho-communist lesbian catgirls. They are unabashed supporters of raiding small regions, as members of the infamous The Black Hawks. If we let them win this election, raiders will take control of the very body that was meant to control them.
But not only that: they also lack the ability and seriousness to lead the World Assembly for four years. They have no record of passing resolutions, and their half-hearted platform shows no specific plan for the next four years! But what do you expect from a nation with such a ridiculous name? Clearly, The Black Hawks' candidate is not even serious about leading the WA.

The new Kaiser of Krieg, Kaiser Tanya von Mourhürst ascends the throne. Her first act as ruler is surprisingly to get rid of the vat system and reintroduce natural population growth which the people have forgotten to do. Her reasoning for this is to get more genetic diversity as she says in the past during the first kaiser’s rein, many Kriegers who were not in vat tubes died because the virus didn’t really need to adapt to kill them off when they all share the same DNA, so getting rid of the vats is hoping that Kriegers have more genetic diversity to further deflect the full effectiveness of any biological weapon on them.
Hej is still scarred from the Second Hejian-Krieger war and begins efforts to rebuild as it still needs to repay Kriegan war reparations. The streets of Ishafron are filled with poverty and thecitizens growing resentment of going to war on the first place. There is a whisper on the ice cold planet of the proletariat. The workers shall rise and so they did, plunging themselves into civil war between the Reds and Whites, leading to a Communist Hej. In order to pay off war debts Hej allows Krieg to annex a portion of their planet that produces metal for their tanks in exchange for 80 trillion Jeks in compensation. The now communist nation with extra boom in cash begins spending it to rebuild and get every Hejian above the poverty line.
Ryutochi reaffirms their neutrality and continues trade with both Hej and Krieg promising no military action shall be taken in event of war and nor will they join any sides. They shall remain neutral.
The Kaiser begins a process of reducing the power of religious institutions that have plagued the Kaiserreich in the past. Citing that religion should have no purpose in governmental affairs and should only be affecting the personal lives of individual citizens of the empire. The Kaiser begins to issue and repeal laws to lessen the religious element of the government to create a more stable nation, effectively making it an autocracy.
The Hejian Communist Party begins to correct cognitive dissonance in its population for a more unified nation after the bloody civil war. Purging the military of white Hejian nationals and installing the party directive and loyalty.
Der Krieg begins re-foresting efforts on various continents on its home planet and various other colonies. Opening work for everyone who is a citizen of Krieg or one of their colonists. The pay is set to above average as it aims to incentivize people to be employed in this effort to make Krieg great again after the radiation has disappeared. Efforts by the people are on a system scale as the planting process goes well.
After a successful reconstruction effort, Hej boosts its military funding to compensate for the last war which has left their military in shambles and with barely any experienced officers. As Krieg during the war took no prisoners. Anti Spaceship instillations are implemented along Hej’s asteroid belt and their many moons with several bases to boot.
Ryutochi notices Hej remilitarizing and uses it to justify itself increasing its own military funding in case of Hejian aggression as they’re closer than Krieg. Ryutochi chooses to ignore Krieg for now because they’re just fixing up their colonies and etc.
Hej challenges Ryutochi’s justifications and asks them to meet in a neutral part of space.
Ryutochi agrees as to not harbor hostile relations with its neighbor and to remain neutral.
Ryutochi has agreed to self regulate itself to only have a self defense force for the homeland and its colonies on the notion Hej may continue military growth but cannot position themselves in striking positions to any Ryutochin owned or influenced planets.
Hej stimulates its economy by injecting a few thousand Jeks for everyone to get the system back on track. The state organizes trade with Ryutochi and begins efforts to renegotiate trade deals with Krieg.
Krieg rejects the deal as it isn’t seen as fair to them, why should Krieg be subservient when Hej lost the war? Trade with Hej is ceased as we view their attempts as insulting.
Krieg asks Ryutochi if they can send diplomats to Shuto from Mourhürst to discuss business and trade.
Ryutochi accepts the deal and lowers the import tax on Kriegan goods and gives Krieg an automotive monopoly.
After a days worth of negotiations, Krieg has agreed in turn to lend lease Ryutochi their Lasergehwers, of course an older model and not the new version but by the next 3 months 40,000,000 will be manufactured and sent to Ryutochi.
Casus Belli: Der 64th Fleet was attacked by Hejian starships as the fleet was patrolling the Northern space of 
Der Krieg. Hundreds of Hejian ships were destroyed but at the cost of a few thousand of ours. Krieg demands immediate satisfaction from Hej or there is no other choice but war. To which Hej denied and literally shot the diplomat in mid conversation, provided by hidden cameras on the diplomat’s person.
Hej’s Response:
“We declare that we didn’t attack any Kriegan ships, as we’re still in the reconstruction effort. However the part of space they claim is Krieg’s is actually Hej’s space, not Krieg’s. And if Krieg is trying to frame us as perpetrators of a war, so be it. We have the people on our side and they are willing to die for their motherland. So as you leave us with no choice, there is only war.”

Back on Krieg’s homeplanet they begin reorganizing their military plans and logistics to support the Northern Theater. Krieg and its colonies begin their mass production of weapons of war. Conscription is enforced in its colonies while back on the home planet millions of volunteers answer the call to arms. The famed 226th Fleet of Wegner’s Chosen are sent through the Hejian Jorg asteroid belt, shooting asteroids as they went past to get in position to attack the Hejian colony planet of Soustud.
Simultaneously the Hejian government announces the declaration of war and that Krieg is beginning their imperial expansion towards our lands. Conscription doesn’t even need to be enforced as civilians swell up the ranks of the military in the hundreds of millions. While Krieg appears to be focusing on the industrial heartland of Hej, by aiming for Soustud. We literally move the factories to a different planet named Noustud and begin pumping out war weapons for the populace before they get past the asteroid belt whoch takes about a solid 8 months through normal time to navigate.
Der 226th Fleet of Wegner’s appears in Soustud and takes out any straggling ships that are trying to evacuate it as they begin the battle for Soustud against the Hejian Naval Forces. Keeping the asteroid field open by setting up projectile shields to create a sort of gateway for Kriegan ships.
