New poll in Zentari, come and vote!

page=poll/p=147102

A new addition has been made to the New Mareskov skyline after six months of construction. A reproduction of the famous, and now infamous, New York landmark known as the "Twin Towers". That's right. I am currently rebuilding the World Trade Center. Memorials for the fallen will be built as well.

* I intended to have this posted between the 12th and 14th, but business has forced me to wait. I also do NOT mean or want to offend anyone. I've always had the WTC and the resulting victims of that day in my heart. And since the original plan to rebuild them as they were was never fully accepted, I will take on that challenge.

Hello Everyone! I'm Back!

If you don't remember me, its fine; my last activity was about 235 days ago. But I have resurrected myself and am ready and rearing to go.

I had to take a break for personal reasons and then completely forgot about this, but I'm back now and just waiting for my World Assembly membership conformation to go through. Now its time for me to get to know the region again!

Any news that I should know about that would help me would be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards

Welcome back bud! I think I still remember meeting, but just in case... I'm Aleksi Coltsov, the current Marshal of the Equestrian Union.

I don't want to be mean but in my humble opinion those songs are better in German than their original English counterpart. And I wanted to share them with you all. :)

just checked the motto of your nation, even without knowing russian i am quite sure that it says "glory to horse empire/imperium" XD

quite ideal in your case if i say so myself.

Yep. "Glory to the Equestrian Empire!" ^^;

Edited my [98 Years] banner...added the skyline of my capitol...changed my flag (again).... And I'm brainstorming some ideas for a couple of factbooks.

The Issue
A collection of citizens, civil rights workers, and concerned mothers have signed a petition to stop the manufacturing of the ‘BFG-69’ (AKA ‘the Organ Grinder’), a new rifle planned to be used in the military which works by shredding people’s internal organs.

The Talking Point
Red Cross demand for body bags is rising while sutures go unused.

I am so proud of my nation, we now even brutally kill our enemies in the most horrible ways without having to capture them!

“We won’t have a future unless we improve police numbers and rebuild the military,” says General Sayid Hill. “Oh, it’s all well and good to have your fancy education and your nice cars, until some tinpot dictatorship decides to invade. And don’t pretend like there aren’t any of them in our region. Our number one priority has to be security.”

Me:
*looks out of the window and sees thousands of tanks and millions of fully armed men and women saluting their supreme leader, turns back to look at map of Europe, looks for dictatorships, sees pacifistic wannabe USSR at the opposite end of the continent turns back to general*

what the fu*k is he smoking.....

EDIT:
The Issue
Despite the government of Spanelsko previously stating opposition to religion, national surveys reveal that a significant percentage of the population continues to have religious beliefs.

The Debate
“Let’s be methodical, shall we?” asks Lieutenant Colonel Dolf Ikeman rhetorically, carefully placing a glass vial containing prussic acid onto your desk. “Opposing the state line on religion is just one step away from opposing the state line on ideology or law. Round up these religious dissidents, load them onto a cargo train, and move them to processing camps for... terminal processing.”

Well the democratic experiment really went south quickly i guess. Guess its time to write my own "struggle" (yes i made THAT joke)

EDIT2
The Talking Point
You can say what you like about the genocidal murderers that rule Spanelsko but at least the trains run on time.

New Mareskov, Russkov Soviet
Office of the Leader

Aleksi: Tell me something, General. I have to wonder if we chose the right path. -pulls a chair up and takes a seat at the desk- We are one of the most loved nations in the entire Confederacy due to our compassion, but I fear our military is mocked daily.

General Romanov: It is indeed nice to be loved. And please, Dear Leader, relax yourself. Our military is more than capable of responding to any threat.

Aleksi: -shifts uncomfortably in seat- That may be, but we are too pacifist. Especially with psychotic nutheads like the Great Khan on the other side of Europe. We need to act. Expand our territory.

General Romanov: While I am against such hostility, you do have a point. Shall I inform the rest of the officers?

Aleksi: With the Royal Sisters as my witness, it is time for Russia to act like she should. Yes, assemble the officers. -leans back in chair, puffs on a cigar- We have some planning to do. -spins around, gazes out the window at the national flag fluttering in the breeze- ....... -to self- God forgive us.
