This resolution is letting WA have control over our soldiers! They are essentially using the No NatSov rule to enforce questionable laws unto us especially like the Previous GA Resolutions and the current one being voted on. I implore that all nations that have a cent of honour for the sovereignty of the State over it's military, or at the very least wants to keep control over it, to vote against this Resolution!

Actually, It's not letting the WA have control over our soldiers.

It's making sure we punish soldiers who commit actions against WA laws.

Preface by Jack Gryphon

War is a common theme in history. Several times, man has fueled their bloodshed by rocks and crude spears to assault rifles and tactical nuclear weapons.

One thing, however, always rises above the bloody and gruesome nature of warfare. It is perseverance. Without it, even the most powerful weapon would be utterly useless and incapable to destroy the enemy.

If only all the men and women in this world were strong in the virtue of perseverance. Alas, the morbidity of warfare will fill even the most persevering heart with fear, sadness, and anger.

So I present to you the tools of our mighty nation. These weapons can dramatically alter the geopolitical landscape and leave a lasting effect which diplomacy sometimes lacks. My most favorite thing about these weapons? Unlike a soldier, a weapon has no feelings, for it is an inanimate object. No fear. No pain. No emotion. A remorseless killing machine is the best killing machine, for it is feared for its merciless nature. And also, weapons aren't as wishy-washy as politicians; they get the job done without whining or complaining.

Jack H. Gryphon

Supreme Leader Jack H. Gryphon.

Small Arms
The smallest component of the military. It would be useless without small arms since soldiers wouldn't be able to defend themselves without them.

Assault Rifles

Hannibal Weapon Systems M82

The M82 is a selective-fire bullpup assault rifle that fires 5.56*45mm rounds. It has three firing modes: semiautomatic, three-round burst, and automatic fire. It is quite ubiquitous in the Eastwindian military; it is not only cheap and easy to make, it is also very lightweight (5.5 pounds) and accurate. It has a decent range of 600 to 650 meters.

Development

In 1984, the Eastwindian Army needed a new assault rifle that can replace the already obsolete M16A4 rifle. Three major weapon companies: Hannibal Weapon Systems, Gryphon and Krueger Weapons Corporation l, and Jupiter Security competes for the replacement rifle.

Eventually, Hannibal's chief designer, Sydney Crow, submitted a highly efficient, yet cheap and very versatile design to the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the military. 3 days later, the new assault rifle was dubbed the M82.

Original designs used to depict the M82 a standard rifle, almost like the AK-12. Then, a revised version was created before it was submitted to the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

Operational History

The M82 was first used after the Great Unification War of Eastwinds (1982-1983), and most recently, the ongoing war against terrorism.

Soldiers in the military enjoy using the M82, because of its lightweight material and good accuracy. Their only complaint is that it is very hard to clean the barrel, because it is hard to see inside.

Variants

M82A1: This is the most widespread version of the M82. It has a built in holographic sight and a muzzle brake.

M82SE A modified version of the M82, it has a built-in suppressor and only has two firing modes: semi and three-round burst.

M82 SOPMOD-II
A Special Operations Peculiar MODification version of the M82. Has a shorter barrel and room for many attachments.

Stahl Arms StA-52

The Stahl Arms StA-52 is a bullpup assault rifle used in the Eastwindian military. Similar to the M82, the StA-52 has a larger magazine, carrying 50 rounds instead of 30. It also has a larger type bullet, as it chambers 7.62 NATO rounds. The StA-52's advantage over the M82 is its fire rate. It shoots quicker at a whopping 955 rounds per minute. However, it is very inaccurate at very long ranges because of this.

Development

In 1999, the Eastwindian Arms Committee (EAC) announced that it would be interested to sign a contract for the production of a new standard assault rifle that has the capability of sustained fire and can carry a big magazine.
In July, Stahl Arms submitted its first design to the EAC: the StA-22.

At first, the design was turned down, because not only it was expensive, it was very bulky and inaccurate. It was designed to hold 75 rounds in a drum magazine, and it chambered 5.56 rounds instead of 7.62.

Stahl Arms revised the StA-22, making the magazine smaller, the rifle much lighter and less expensive, and dramatically improved the rifle's accuracy. Thus, the StA-52 was born.

The bright blue sky arcs like a vault over the azure oceans. Salt spray tints the air with it's sharp odor, a flock of birds moving the the sky in playful circles. The one hundred twentieth expeditionary fleet moves through the serene waters, sharp hulls slicing through the waves. There are four Tayami class destroyers, each one long and predatory, a logistics ship trails behind them, long waves emanating from its bulk.

Boots ring out on the steel deck of the lead destroyer, Yaikukaze. A dark haired woman, bearing a long manilla envelope, walks across the deck, long black boots marking each footstep. "Orders from high command captain. The Office of Imperial Affairs has located a new island nation, near our location."

A tall man, wearing a navy blue jacket, and white slacks, turns, facing away from the railing, and beyond it, the endless azure ocean. His dark hair is secured beneath a blue cap, and combat medals line his uniform. Removing his pipe from his teeth, he takes the envelope, remarking; "Well, let's see what corner of the Earth we've been sent to now. Anything has to be better then our last place if station though."

The woman chuckles, as he tears open the envelope, and scans the contents. After briefly perusing the contents, he hands them back to the woman. "Aiko, head to the bridge, it looks like we're headed to Tenkyoku."

Aiko salutes, and marches off down the deck. She moves quickly through the cramped corridors of the destroyer, clambering up several flights of stairs, until she reaches the bridge. A few officers sit at their stations, watching the endless screens and instruments that line the bridge. Panoramic windows wrap around it, showing the sea in every direction. Aiko stands at attention in the center of the room, then states loudly; "Alright, orders from OIFA. A new nation has been discovered, and we've been sent to establish contact, see what kind of nation we are. Our route is to the nation of Tenkyoku."

"The hell is that place?" Asks the navigations officer quietly, after taking a sip from a bottle of beer by his control panel.

"Well, according to the coordinates, an island somewhere by Orientalis." Aiko walks to the helm, tossing the coordinates idly to the navigational officer. Within minutes, the fleet has reoriented, slicing through the seas at thirty knots towards their new destination. The empire was coming to Tenkyoku.

14 FEBRUARY, 2019; PORT-AU-PRINCE, HAITI, NACO

03:00 AM

Eric Young paced down the hallway of his study. His mind was blank, but he couldn't remember what he was making it down there. For one, he was tired. It was three o'clock in the morning. He had no idea what drew his attention. Was it really time for blank mindedness? If he could somehow find a way to remember his reasoning, he would be able to succeed. "It has to be here somewhere!" he screamed. His boss would kill him. His workers would kill him. As the lead Minister of Foreign Affairs, this was his type of job.

He sensed that the files were there somewhere. "Where did they go!" he shouted before sinking to his knees. "Sweetie, what's wrong?" a sweet, tender voice was behind him. He turned around and there was his girlfriend. As a fifteen-year-old, he was the youngest minister of Foreign Affairs in national history and therefore, he had low expectations. His goal was to raise them. However, how could he do so if he lost a simple piece of paper that would invite the leader of the nation, Tenkyoku to the Neo Afro Caribbean Order.

The boy threw his hands up in the air. "I give up!" he screeched, "You hear that God? I. Give. Up!" Eliza, his girlfriend, took his hand. "Eric, stop it! You're tired!" Seeing the stern look on Eliza's face brought him back. She wrapped her slim, chilled, and tan arms around him. Her whitish-blonde hair lit the room. Eric's dark skin shined. His black hair illuminated. She put a hand on his cheek. The hand heated him inside. He sunk into her touch as she forced him to calm down.

"You need something called sleep," she whispered. Eric leaped before shaking his head with a tone of annoyance. "No. Eliza, I can't I have to-" Eliza cut him off. She just shook her head. Eric looked at her. He calmed down immediately. "Look, tomorrow is another day. You will find it in the light. You can't find anything in this dark-as-hell study, Eric," Eric fought no more. He took his girlfriend's hand and walked her to her apartment. Eliza smiled before disappearing inside. Eric went home and followed Eliza's orders. He swiftly changed out of his suit and got into his pajamas. The stress of this meeting has gotten to him and he needs sleep.

10:45 AM

BANG! BANG! BANG! The sound of his apartment door being banged on woke him up. Eric rose to his feet with a slight headache. His sheets were all in a ruffle as were his nightwears. His hair was not messed up at all as he opened the door. Here was Eliza. She lightly pecked Eric's cheek. "Darling, you should find that paper. The paper will help you keep your job." Eliza's orders were simple. Eric acknowledged the orders as he left down the stairs and went across the street to the governmental study.

He walked down the same hallway as he walked through the night before. The dark corridor was now ignited by the lanterns that illuminated all of the corridors. Eric found the area he was looking for the paper in. He grunted. Frantically and swiftly, he moved his way for the paper. He shook open an envelope. Out came 5 papers and 1 packet of 15 papers. He quickly looked through each paper and not finding the invitation in any of the papers.

"This is bad! The President expects me later today!" he shouted, "Damn you, Eric!" he cursed himself. What would the president say? What would President Dapaah say about him if he lost this paper? However, then he saw a cupboard. He opened it and saw two papers. One of which had the words "Sa a se adrese nan Tenkyoku!" (This is Addressed to Tenkyoku) on the front of it. Eric took a giant sigh of relief. President Dapaah would not be disappointed in him this time.

Remembering what his colleague, Kieth Möise, said to him, he panicked but felt diminished at the same time. Möise told him, "You stand for nothing, Young. What will you fall for?" The words made him chill and shrivel up inside. The sadness was on his face, but he remembered that he found the most important document in the history of the NACO. He felt immeasurably pleased that he found it, but he felt horrendously lousy for losing it in the first place. The nerves on his face as he walked back to his apartment as he went home to change was exceedingly nervous.

He opened the door to see that Eliza had already left for her home. He walked into his bedroom to change into his suit and a tie. When that was on, he went and brushed his teeth. He looked back at his apartment once more before getting ready to take his limo, he rehearsed what he would say to the president as he would see him.

14 FEBRUARY, 2019; FREETOWN, SIERRA LEONE, NACO

17:51 PM

President Dapaah sat back in his chair. The stress on his face was great. He knew that he would have to get the letter to invite the delegation of Tenkyoku to come to the nation Dapaah waited and his doors opened. He lit up when he saw Eric waving the note in the air. The president drew a sigh of relief. Eric took a seat. President Dapaah looked at Eric and the rest of the NACO delegation. "Do you have the letter that we are inviting to our nation?"

Eric looked at his fellow Administration Delegates. He saw Kieth. He glared before looking back to the president. Kieth interrupted. "It might be nice! It will be good to get that letter to the Minister of their Foreign Relations. I know Eric Young is here and he would not have this debate. Let me remind you he is NOT secretary of state! If you don't know, now you know Mr. President." Kieth's idea was vague. However, he sat down with a sense of pride. Eric rose up to his feet.

"You must be out of your goddamn mind, Kieth. Mr. President, what we should do is send it to their leader and make a copy to send to the Minister of Foreign Relations. This will be beneficial because we would be able to get a response from both branches. Therefore, our letter will be taken into account from both real important people." Eric sat down. The President nodded at Eric's idea. "Eric's right," he said. Kieth was in a state of shock, but he nodded and left.

"Eric, send the two letters. We need to make our statement and invitation clear," the president said. Eric nodded as he got up to leave. The president paced up and down the room. His hands were behind his back. "If this works, we could strengthen diplomatic relations with another nation. This will be a good idea."

A A SE ADRESE NAN TENKYOKU

From the President's Office

Dear Whom this May Concern,

As ocean rise and empires fall, it only takes diplomatic relations to boost two nations. We invite your leadership delegation to the Neo Afro Caribbean Order to have a summit on the issues of our lands. We also would like to set up an embassy in our capital for your nation and we would like to set up a defense agreement. Alas, these don't have to be agreed to. We are fine if you all-out disagree with us. We would like diplomatic relations and we would like our nations to be friendly in trade, commerce, business, and diplomatic relations.

Your accomodations have also been figured out as well as your itinerary. You will fly your transport to Freetown International Airport and you will stay at the Royal ACO Hotel in downtown Freetown in a suit. This goes for everyone in your delegation. You are allowed to leave at any time and any day.

We hope to see you there,

It was strange for the air itself to be so...fresh. For most of her recent life, Aozora had been acclimated to a perpetual layer of smog smothering every breath. In this new world, however, there had not been time to establish much industrial infrastructure, nor had there been enough time for those nonexistent structures to produce much in the way of pollution. Normally, Aozora hated dealing with reports outside. The wind blew everything away, the ground covered it in dirt, and if she was anywhere near the ocean, whatever pages got scattered by nature’s whims would begin an inevitable journey towards getting as utterly soaked as physically possible. Now, however, being inside the Spire...it was too depressing, too...overwhelming for her to manage. So Aozora had chosen to ensure the harshness of the world.

You speak of nature as some indomitable force. Stop thinking like that. We both know you can overturn it. If you have the will, the determination, the drive, reality itself will obey you. Are you not its Overlady? Oh, of course not. What vacuous appellation have you chosen today? Failed goddess? Fallen warrior? The Self-Traitor? Your own worst enemy? Be quiet! I’m trying to focus here… What can you do to me, yell at me? Like you do at the world? At yourself? At your mistakes? Look at you. Trying to lock up all your best equipment down in the Labyrinth because you’re afraid of your own creations. Trying to suppress your deepest desires. How about this? Instead of yelling at everything, do something about it. Live up to your name again. Move beyond divinity again. Accept what you truly are. Embrace it. Or would you rather return to a cycle of endless misery and despair?

“My goddess!” Aozora’s thoughts were interrupted by a high-pitched voice calling out. She turned around to find a girl in a black kimono. Judging by her height, her unbroken voice and her youthful appearance, she was no older than twelve. Like the vast majority of Tenyokurens, she had felines features- specifically cat ears and a tail. Tenkyoku was full of children, as many of the survivors had been young, the majority of them soldiers. Now, they had been set to the task of re-establishing a presence in this world. In many ways, it was familiar. The gravity felt the same, the laws of physics seemed identical, the fauna and flora seemed similar. But Aozora did not rule this world. She was no longer truly the Supreme Overlady of All Reality. She gazed into the child’s eyes. They were a bright brown. She was, in every way, ordinary. But her mere survival proved she was of extraordinary luck. Aozora gave a nod, indicating for her to continue. The girl handed Aozora a message. “We received this a few moments ago. People have noticed us.”

It had to happen eventually. But...this soon? We haven’t gotten everything set up yet! Aozora took the report. It was some kind of diplomatic inquiry from a nation she’d never heard of. They must have picked up on some of our internal transmissions...at least it’s diplomatic. That gives us a chance. Let’s see… Dear Whom This May Concern? Ahaha! They know of our nation, of our presence, but not of us...come now. Even you must recognise the opportunity here. Use their ignorance. Make them think they see all, when in reality, a blindfold of deception blocks their sight. Shut up! They want us to have a summit...how..unusual. We haven’t even met...it could be a trap. So what if it is? Should they try attack us, they will be met with slaughter. I can’t stand up to an entire army at once! Think rational- never mind. They also want an embassy and a defence agreement...despite knowing nothing about us. So this world has war and is full of idiots. Some things never change, do they? They also want a lot of other alignments. The speak with such…Trepidation? That’s one word for it. But didn’t I tell you to shut up? This is from a President...so, they’re a democracy? Ugh. I don’t have time for this. There are too many preparations to be made. Aozora handed the report back to the young girl. “Tell the Head of Diplomacy to handle this.”

“Umm, my goddess...we don’t have one right now…” But I appointed Kiku just- Then you killed her. Oh...right. I…I did… “Goddess! May I ask a question?” Aozora nodded. “Umm...why are you a neko? Is it your will that all be like that, even yourself?”

“It’s...yes. That’s why. Since we don’t have a head of foreign affairs...congratulations, young disciple. You’re now in charge of diplomatic affairs. I want you to...stuff it, I’ll do it myself.” Aozora grabbed out a pen, and began to write. Her print was messy, but it would do. Would this not be more enjoyable to do on the bleeding back of a traitor? SHUT UP!

To: Eric Young, NACO Minister of Foreign Relations
From: Aozora Chiyumi, Supreme Overlady of All Reality

With regards to your message,

Before I step foot anywhere near your nation, wherever it may be, I require some basic knowledge of its characteristics. Specifically, I demand that you inform us of your ideological values, your government, and the reason you request so many diplomatic agreements despite having had no prior contact with us.

Until these demands are met, there will be no further correspondence between our countries.

Sincerely,
Aozora Chiyumi, Supreme Overlady of All Reality, She Beyond Divinity

Oh, so now you claim divinity. Trying to make an impression, are you? Your threats are empty. If only you embraced your potential once more. But you insist on being a piece of treacherous filth to your own needs. Look at the child you made head of diplomacy. You gave her such a role. You made her worship you as a goddess. You made her totally compliant to your commands, as you did countless other children. And you don’t even know her name. It doesn’t matter. And why should it? It is whatever you say it is. Isn’t that true? Enough! Aozora handed the written reply to the young girl. “What’s your name?”

The girl gasped. She bowed before her Overlady, her goddess, until Aozora gave the gesture for her to rise. “My name is Kyoko.”

Aozora nodded. “Very well, Kyoko. I will inform you of your duties-“ Aozora sighed. Another young one was approaching, this time a boy who had to be around eight years old. He bowed upon arrival, then handed Aozora a note.

“Goddess! We’ve received word that warships have been spotted on the horizon!” Gah! Military forces! Our brigades are still being reorganised. She snatched the note and examined it. Four warships...destroyers...why are they here? What choices do I have...if we attack, whoever owns them will come after us. We can’t afford a war right now...curse it. Curse them all! I’ll kill them! I’ll kill them with my own- Aozora took a deep breath in. Isn’t that refreshing? You should follow through on your threats for a change...what can they do to harm a goddess? Oh, wait, you’re not one. You’re just a failing- SHUT UP! Ok, ok, ok...are they here to conquer us? Or to investigate us? Hmmm...I...have to hope that it’s the latter.

Aozora handed back the note to the young boy, and then handed him her reply to the nation that had messaged her. “Send this to the long-range transmission tower. Kyoko. Come with me. We have a message to deliver to our guests.” The girl nodded, and the two made their way towards another communications tower. The buildings that surrounded them were still under construction, most of them either residential or industrial in nature. Many of the workers were, of course, children. They worked tirelessly, with the utmost devotion, out of their overwhelming indoctrination. In the minds of some, they lacked free will entirely, though elements of such were beginning to manifest now that the hold infrastructure was no longer in place.

When Aozora reached the tower, she raised her communicator. Adjusting the frequency, she readied herself for a broadcast. “Attention unidentified vessels. Identify your origin and intent immediately. If you seek diplomatic contact, we will permit you to land at the nearest port as long as you maintain a direct trajectory and disembark under escort. If this is not your intent, it is advised that you leave immediately.” What can you do about them? Yell at them? You’re hopeless. Until you accept reality, you stand no chance against any enemy attack. They don’t know who I am. They don’t know what I am. Yeah, and neither do you so far. They don’t need to know if all they’re here for is to shoot you to death. The military is small and disorganised. It’s not nonexistent. These soldiers will do their jobs if it comes to it. I just hope that it doesn’t…

“Umm, my goddess. Shouldn’t we purge the heretics immediately?” Kyoko’s voice was innocent as she spoke of committing an act of war. Aozora shook her head.

“Not for the moment. We must ascertain their nature first. Come with me. First day on the job, first diplomatic mission by the looks of it…” If we are lucky...
