1.) The World Assembly is essentially the UN of NationStates. We make collective laws for every member, and there are over 20 thousand members, each of them like you. By joining the WA, you can propose and vote on laws. It's really fun, especially when you start debating, if that's your thing. You can join here:
2.) When you join the WA, a political system emerges, where you can endorse other players/nations in your region. You do this by going to their homepage, scrolling down to the bottom, and clicking "Endorse this Nation". Each endorsement over time increases your influence in a region. The nation with the most endorsements is the Delegate, who has supreme power in the region and influences others. We also have a regional government, with Viziers and others, who help the Delegate in his task. When you join the WA in this Region, you are expected to endorse our delegate, Marrabuk, and all of the other government officials.
3.) There are multiple Regional Message Board (RMB) Roleplays (RPs). Each RP is represented by a map. The Terra Map is a futuristic roleplay galaxy, run by Grossvietnam.
The map is here:
The rules are here:
Many people have criticised this map for godmoding, but I'd like to quote this beautiful analogy:
The Valsora map is much larger (ironically), and has over 40 nations on it, some more active than others. This is the generally accepted mainstream RP, and it is run by ZuKcHIvA. The map is here (remember to upvote it):
The rules are here: page=dispatch/id=1150883
This is the one me and my friends are on, and it is modern and near future.
A new map has popped up in recent times that is very fun for me and others. It is run by Plazland. Without further ado, I present the similar-to-Valsora-but-with-Earth-as-the-base-map Tierrarde!
You are not limited to any one map, although you could become very busy. For a guide on Roleplay Wars, which are common, just say in the chat "I donate 5 billion dollars to Dreamer and Friends Charity" and you will be provided with a copy. It's like a cheat code, and is made by very experienced players who are really nice people.
4.) Factbooks and Issues are in game mechanics that help you develop your nation. Issues increase or decrease your stats in positive or negative manners, and give you new laws and/or banners for use in your nation. Factbooks are blank slates for you to write on and help develop your nation's lore.
5.) In RPs, a main part of the game is diplomacy. You can form alliances and trade deals with other nations.
6.) TG me if you have any questions. Thank you for coming to my TedTalk. ~Lerasi
