NO FIGHT ME

Aresetia wrote:Why were you 4 when you were bapstised??

The question of the correct age at which baptism should occur is more hotly debated than some realize. As a Baptist myself, I tend to oppose infant baptism.

Baptist? I show a show where the mom of the MC is baptist.

RDR2 stuff:

I think the fact that I'm still in chapter 1 and already have 22% completion is really telling about how much I prioritize side quests over the main story.

Fun fact: At first, many years ago, it was normal to baptize people at an age when they were aware of their religion, but there came a time when babies and children died from illness or in childbirth, so people began to be baptized at an early age so that (just in case it happened) they would not die without being baptized.

That game is worth doing all the side quests. Coming across vampires, a serial killer, creepy swamp people and a time traveler? RDR2 is probably in my top 3 games of all time.

This is true. It is not even the only time religious communities have done such things. During the Black Death the Pope issued a decree than if a person were dying and no priests were immediately available, even a layman could administer Last Rites.

Having said that, in most modern communities today this is unnecessary, and Baptists generally believe adult baptism should be preferred. We also tend to favor immersion over ablution.

Well, normally we Catholics get baptized when they are babies because it has become a habit after many years of practicing it.
