The Great Library Regional Message Board

Hey you guys!
We're discussing

Obamacare, Medicare, and Medicaid. Some people support these programs without question. Others are skeptical, and would completely privatize them. What are your thoughts? What should tax payers value? Are there better alternatives?
At the very least, please vote here in the Worldly Debate Region. But remember, 9/10 doctors (from Marxist Debater anyway) recommend posting in another region's RMB to starve off scurvy. So make sure you do.

Feel free to join us! :)

Greetings!
There's a new poll in Truth. Vote if you want! (And see how others voted after 3 days.)

The poll is called: Dividing up the slice of pie

Question :: Do you think that the world should be divided by means of a vertical line (ie, by race/religious divisions) or with a horizontal line (ie, by class divisions)? -- And, why you think it is better to divide it that way?

Greetings from TAO. Just passing through on WalkAbout.

Peaceful place you have here ... and amazingly comprehensive.

We were honoured to have such a distinguished traveler stop by the Library. Yes it is peaceful, the Vashta Nerada have taken over the Library and you were lucky to escape unscathed.

Bonne Chance in your travels.

Speaking in a whisper: Greetings, I am happy to have arrived here. I wish to present my Diplomatic Credentials. I am the Goodwill Ambassador-At-Large from the SECFanatics Region, and Ambassador from The Great Universe. I will be paying a courtesy visit to The Great Library in the hopes of increasing friendship between our great Regions. While I sojourn here, please do not hesitate to advise me of any areas which may be improved in our relations with The Great Library Region. It is a pleasure to be here. I look forward to a productive visit.

Welcome to the Library, Mr. Ambassador, I am happy to see you here. Have a seat and punch up any books that you would like to peruse during your visit on the terminal to your left and there is coffee and tea at the counter behind you. But one thing, for your safety, be sure to count the shadows as there are Vashta Nerada about the stacks, somewhere.

Thank you for your welcome and your offer of refreshments. I look forward to the wonders contained in your Library. But please tell me a little more concern the Vashta Nerada. Are they magical creatures?

Never mind. I just looked up the information in the Library. This is very strange. I was recently in The Doctor Who Universe on a diplomatic mission and encountered nothing like them at all!

If it is not too presumptuous of me to ask, what is the relation of The Library to this Region?

Greetings, TAO! You always seem to have arrived at a Region ahead of me!

Please give our thanks to you wonderful founder, -Charlotte Abigail Lux-, for the hospitality that was shown to us. We will need to depart sooner than I had anticipated. Our AI Ship has been disconcerted by the news of the the Vashta Nerada and wishes to go through some extensive decontamination protocols. Our next scheduled stop was originally set to be the Gypsy Lands, but we have received a request from the Roman Empire to visit there next. Should there be any issues that we need to address after we depart, we may be reached via the SECFanatics Embassy. Best of luck to you in resolving the Vashta Nerada issue. Good-bye.

*Enters the AI Ship Zefram Cochrane through the decontamination chamber's airlock*

Very, very quietly slips in and leaves something behind, silently slipping back out.

Hey, sorry to bother you, but if you have a second, feel free to let us know your thoughts on space exploration !

Thank you for your time!
