Assault on the Red Star System: Part IX | December 2075 | Location: The Red Star System

Nations Concerned: Icelanden

In the honor of their father, as as the Ninth were being unloaded by Stormbirds in the hundreds, reaching up to thousands to relieve the two Cruisers, so did the Templars charge out from where they were supposed to stand. Thousands of Legionnaires closes from every corner of the ship, firing down every corridor at whoever or whatever stood in their path. Guardsmen and Gunmen who found groups of Astartes followed them, with Marines and the ship's very own defense system aiding them. Assault Squads took the lead, flying through corridors using their jump packs, slicing apart, melting or otherwise pulling apart at enemies, all before walls of Bolts and bullets came crashing down in open areas where it was possible. Soldiers of all kinds came crashing down into the enemy, from the hundreds of Voidhunters behind the Templars, to the thousands of Legionnaires and Marines coming up from the lower decks, down directly on the cultist bastards, wherever the ship detected their presence. The ship itself tried its best against the parasites in it, ambushing with bolter turrets, shutting blast doors directly upon enemies as they were passing through or delivering yet more fatal chemical agents in the airtight rooms. Where they already engaged the enemy, Marines, Legionnaires and Gunmen opened with devastating fire, from lines of Boltes, to Marine-grade Autoguns and all the way up to Volkite Calivers and fast-firing Assault Cannons. Tarantula turrets opened up as well, as Warp Drives and Engines were regarded as the most important parts of any vessels, and were defended with suicidal fervor by any force present.

The ships of the fleet came closer to victory with each second. As the Spear of Vonia shrugged off attacks, it communicated to all vessels of its intel, to reduce casualties among the ships. Though several Cruisers, Grand Cruisers and even a few Battleships already fell prey to the guns of the fortresses, every ship that could put up its Gellar Fields, using its remaining power to shield themselves from other blows or, in the case of many Legionary Ships, to turn every gun in the fleet upon these wretched vessels and their escorts, in a fire that would not leave a single spot for the enemy to flee, only to tank with armor or die in flames. Lances and Macrolasers hit their targets directly, while slow projectiles flew through the void with thousands of fighters to protect them from PDs and enemy fire. While the Legiones Astartes pursued their own enemies, in the form of the Glorianas, using their own Battle Barges and Gloriana Capital-ships, the regular human Marines present on other ships boarded as many Assault Rams and Dreadclaws as they could, aiming to board enemy craft and destroy them from the inside. Though of significantly lower quality, the Armament and Power Armor of human Marines would do against anything short of an Astartes or an Astartes-equivalent fighter, which they hoped they could destroy with sheer power of numbers and volume of fire. It was then the that the fleets, still firing wildly to fill up the void, were visited and joined the sons of the so-called Machine God. Though the First were a bit disgusted at this, any help against the accursed Nordics was welcome. The two Armies would crush the Heretics in front of them, with no mercy and no respite. Maddened Chaplains and Commissars aboard all vessels made sure every soldier was ready and willing to throw themself against the walls of the enemy, even if it meant certain death. Last minute-preparations were being made on all transport craft, slightly 'behind' the battle fleets, as thousands moved down to the lower decks, ready to be transported into battle. Transports which carried supplies advanced at a slower rate, as they were to be deployed only after the initial landings, after Astartes and Special Forces had cleared several spots to land.

So basically, I am legitimately sick of the Void War and want down on the ground already.

LOCATION: RED STAR SYSTEM - SEGMENTUM SOLAR
DATE: EARTH YEAR 2075 - EARTH MONTH DECEMBER
FLEET CONCERNED: SECOND EXPLORATOR FLEET

The void war was coming to a close, and the forces of the Adeptus Mechanicus had crushed their enemies, crippling their fleets while they were distracted, while the weapons of the Machine God blew their ships into space dust. The forces of the Skitarii, launched from the Destroyers that had allowed them to board the ships of the traitors under the guidance of the Omnissiah and the blessed data of the Auspex, which allowed them to detect and target enemy power supplies, and search for STC parts of other such technological relics. However, none of these STCs or archaeotech relics were found on board, with the Chaos ships having been stripped clean of any non-corrupted data many years ago. However Chaos scrapcode tried to interfere with the blessed data of the Machine God's transmissions between Skitarii and their Techpriest masters onboard their ships, but nevertheless, victory was assured at this point. Once the Skitarii boarders found nothing of use or stripped down the crews of the ships, they would charge the reactors to the point of detonation, the Chaos crewmen onboard being no match for the steel tide of the Sktiarii, who had already led a major effort to neutralize leadership and break enemy chokepoints with Vanguard forces. The forces on the ships would evacuate themselves and their machines, who would be transported out from the Chaos ships via transport as they shook themselves apart, the forces of the explosions taking place within the hull crippling the vessels and causing major damage to their structures before those structures would inevitably collapse. Sometimes the ships would destroy themselves before all units could make it off the ships, but most of the larger vehicles were evacuated due to their proximity to the cargobay, and much of the Skitarii survived, their war-cohorts escaping the destruction of the vessels as they travelled back to their own destroyers. Any losses made could be easily replaced by the fleet once they could return to the Forge World, although many of the material losses could be regained through the Goliath Class Forge Ships, which had production outputs to match entire Hive Worlds when amassed in large enough numbers, and could consume star systems of resources if needed. However, these ships had fulfilled their purpose in rebuilding the losses of the Skitarii well, and soon enough, vehicles and weapons were in the excess once more, for the STCs of many vehicles and weapons were extremely easy to replicate, especially vehicles like the Dunecrawler, which had been made by the millions, although potentially billions by the current time throughout the history of the Mechanicum and Adeptus Mechanicus. The Light Cruisers which made up the higher part of the fleet allowed their escort fighters to dock, and their weapons to cool and reload, before heading towards the Achainian fleet, hailing them in the process, calling out "The Machine God's inventions have served us well, we are blessed by the Omnissiah before these cursed abominations of heresy. We head to purge the planet of all traitors and hereteks. Our fleets converge." The war in the void was over, and the forces of the Omnissiah had a large victory over their enemies, although it would've been even more catastrophic for the traitors had the Ark Mechanicus showed up, for ships of that type have the potential to eliminate an entire fleet's worth of ships.

The battling for the Blackstone Fortresses closer to the planet was going well for the forces of the anti-Chaos coalition, and once the 2nd Explorator Fleet had moved in to engage their targets alongside the Achainians, the battle was already over, macrocannon fire cut through the dark void like a knife through hot butter, and the lances melted the Chaos escort force which was already battered by the Achainian weapons coming from nearby, yet also a long distance, considering void conflict however, long distance engagements were normal. The Skitarii forces already steeled by their conflict onboard the other Chaos voidcraft were now preparing to board their transport craft to land onboard the impenetrable fortresses and defeat the enemy there. Any techpriests sent alongside the force were to be told NOT to perform any kind of research on Xenotech that may be on board the station, for the mechanism of the Xeno is a abhorrent ruin of the True Path of machinery laid out by the Machine God. Using Omnispex and other sensors would be sufficient, the Adeptus Mechanicus of the 41st Millennium conformed to what the Imperium said about the Blackstone Fortresses, although we know them to be Xenotech and thus heretical. Once the Skitarii had also boarded alongside the Achainians, they would come as a steel tide behind Onager Dunecrawlers and Vanguard forces to crush the heretical line. Skitarii Rangers and Sicarian Ruststalkers and Infiltrators would engage in their classical tactic of severing the heads of enemy forces, with Rangers using their long range prowess to target and annihilate frontline leadership, and Sicarians moving around the station quickly and lethally, silencing any enemies that would get in their ways. Forces of the Space Marines legions would be forced to look on as the lightning of a properly executed Skitarii strike pushed aside the enemy and cut them up, splitting up a once cohesive force into multiple smaller ones, herded by Vanguards who were cutting through the traitor lines and causing even further splits while the Rangers caused chaos (against Chaos) by eliminating enemy leadership and crippling their ability to fight back against the onslaught of anti-traitor forces currently in combat against the enemy. Dataflows streamed in Cant Mechanicus as information was sent back and forth between the battlefield and the command, and the forces of the Omnissiah annihilated their enemies as the holy language of the Machine God spread their message amongst the heretic traitors on their hour of death, and also to the Achainian force nearby, to teach them of the power and glory of the Machine God and the Omnissiah, who lead the Adeptus Mechanicus against their enemies in the hereteks and lead them to achieve comprehension to elevate themselves above those who are just organic machines.

Beginning of the End | December 2075 | Red Star System
It was beginning to crumble. The troops in Sector 3 had been wiped out by the Achainian forces there. The last contact anyone had was a message, "Long live the Dark Gods!" From a lone marine before her was cut down by an Achainian Astartes. Last of the vessels alive were ordered by Admiral Thentius to activate self destruct sequences, so that the enemy couldn't board their ship. As the ship's core detonated, Thentius looked at a picture of his family and smiled as the flames of the explosion reached the bridge of the vessel. Meanwhile above New Scandinavia the Blackstones' canons went offline and soon enough the cores were exposed due to the shields going down and allowing shells to enter the ship. As more shells hit the fortresses they began hitting more vital areas like the medical bays and ammunition dumps. Chain explosions began to ring out on each Fortress and soon they were nothing but drifting hulks. The other ships, under Admiral Drago, had to hold out against an endless enemy barrage, but their shields were beginning to fail. The Admiral attempted to send a message to the leader of the Achainian fleet but a shell exploded in the bridge, killing him and many on the bridge. All across the remaining ships, personal made their way towards the hanger too board transports so they can get planet side. On the planet, the supposed drop pods were actually debris from destroyed fighters that drifted down to the planet, however the Plauge Wardens, Lorekeepers, and Loreguardians stayed in the sky to keep an eye, or many eyes, out for Achainian drop pods. In the mean time trenches were being built out in front of New Oslo and many similar cities, along side those trenches, full strength legions of daemons of all types under Icelandic command were summoned and gathered. These daemons filled in gaps where needed, and even helped set up more defensive positions deeper in the city. All the while the ODCs keel firing up at the Coalition ships in orbit of the planet.

Grand Escape of New Scandinavia(Part 3) | December 2075 | Red Star System
The group pushed forward in the damp corridor under the city. The muffled canon fire stopped, and everyone feared the worst, so they started to speed up their escape. As they continued forward the corridor opened up more and more until it opened up to a giant cave with a light coming from up a slight incline. Gilliam looked at his sister and smiled,
"Looks like we found a way out."
"Yep, and we may finally be safe." She responded.
The other people in their group of eight began to climb up the incline, and as they breached the surface their faces shown with glee and alsk worry. They'd come across a group of people who'd died with gunshot wounds to their heads, and a deserted transport craft. However the craft looked fine and intact. They boarded the craft, did a quick check and took off, never looking back.
