Good Morning House! It's Doughnut Friday!

For today's breakfast I have prepared all sorts of Doughnuts: Yeast Raised, Cake, Doughnut Holes, Beignet, Jelly, Boston Cream, Churros, Potato, Cider, Crullers, Fritters, Twists, Long Johns, Cream Filled, as well as grazed, frosted, or with sprinkles. Also, there is Belgian Waffles, French Toast, Socially Acceptable Sausage Patties, Hash Brown Potatoes, and Fresh Fruit Salad. We also have Coffee, Tea, and Me (my warm hugs) to warm you up, as well as various juices and milk. There are Mimosas for anyone who would like one.

Bon Appetit!

P.S. There are plenty of crumbs for the Ants.

Anyone here know what a churro is, and if dey is any good dere?

I would have some fresh fruit to go wid dem dere, but for some reason da tought of putting apple in my mout makes me very nervous dere. I tink I will get my fruit from da lemon filling.

By the way, yesterday's crumbs were a big hit with all of us. Keep it up and we may need to build an extension to the Castle.

The girls of The Respected Realms and I are so glad that The House at Pooh Corner has been resurrected and will continue being a place of warmth and sociability for those now and the future NSers.

Is everyone alright? That must have been terrifying to live through.

I am still shell-shocked and heart-broken. But I am working through it the best that I can.

A churro is a fried-dough pastry—predominantly choux—based snack. Churros are traditional in Spain and Portugal, from where they originate, as well as the Philippines and Ibero-America. They are also consumed in the Southwestern United States, France and other areas that have received immigration from Spanish and Portuguese-speaking countries.

Or the ants may have to be put on a diet.

Thank you and the girls so much for your thoughtful message and words of encouragement.

Most of us have been traumatized by the experience and we are still missing some of our former residents that have not returned and have move on to other regions.

I believe that you speak for all of us here. It has been a very traumatic experience.

Thank you so much Lady Kate. What happened with Dinah? I don't see or hear her. :'(

I don't know? I was busy getting you cleaned up. I don't know who was going to wash Dinah.

Anybody here know what happened to Dinah?

Ants do not diet. That would be unnatural. We do, however, store excess food in the castle in case of hard times later. But when times are especially good, the ant population will increase rapidly in order to grow the colony. Thus, the individual ants never have a weight problem, unless times are so bad that starvation sets in. I am sure that the good Queen Kate will never allow that to happen here. >:)

Last I saw she was in the kitchen with someone strumming on the ol' banjo.

Good Morning House!

For today's breakfast I've prepared a Leek and Mushroom Grits Frittata, a Socially Acceptable Sausage - Potato Frittata, a Pecan Pancakes with Caramel Apple Topping, a Pancake Casserole with your choice of Syrups, a Tater Tot Breakfast Casserole, Buttermilk Biscuits, and Caramel Glazed Monkey Bread. There is also Coffee, Tea, and Me (my warm hugs) for your pleasure, as well as various juices and milk. There are Mimosas for anyone who would like one and my famous Hangover Cure, guaranteed to either kill or cure.

That could never happen here with the Kitchen being busy 24/7,

Oh, so many terrific choices today. I've got to go with the Monkey Bread, a true favorite!

My schedule today will not permit me a second breakfast, but for brunch I will be back for a frittata and/or pancakes with caramel apple topping!

Have a big ol' hug, O chef extraordinaire!

Perhaps the cats of Ulthar have seen her. I know Ulthar can be a scary place, but it is safe for friends of cats.

We used to have an Embassy with Kittens Sanctuary, but there is no one in any position to accept the request there. Should we invite the two nations here and let their Region CTE?

It is perhaps worth a try. In my experience, in these almost abandoned regions, the residents rarely login, which may mean that no response would be forthcoming for some time. But maybe that would bring some cats to the region, which to my mind would be a very good thing. (In real life, I am VERY allergic to cats, but luckily, NationStates lets me indulge my love for the critters at no cost to my health. :) )

I return to the buffet table for some of that leek and mushroom frittata, which sounds wonderful, and is probably better for me as the caramel-apple pancakes, as delightful as those sound. :)

I've sent TG's to both residents there. We'll see.

Will there be munchies this evening for those of us watching athletic ballet? Just wondering...

(The kitten and puppy admirers might want some too.)

OMG!!! It's the Groundhog and it's seeing its shadow. You do know what that means...six more weeks of wintry weather. :( Anyways, Good Morning House! I'm sorry, but today's Breakfast will be Pot Luck and everybody will have to fend for themselves.

We are boycotting dis so-called game. It is very offensive, da way dey trow and kick doze pigskins around. We believe dat if dey want to play dis football, it should be strictly vegan football. For instance, if dey were to play wid pumpkins instead of a ball dere, we would definitely enjoy watching dat. It would be hilarious!

AaaoooooowwooooooOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooh!

Oh, yeah. Da wolfs say dat you should definitely watch da Puppy Bowl dere. Dem Puppies is so cute! Of course, dey should include wolf cubs too, but dey know dat den da cubs would win all da prizes and all da puppies would be so sad.

Sounds like you participated in a male bonding rituel yesterday. There was one at my house which I now have to spend the day cleaning up after.
