    Here is the updated rules. I made them much more relaxed and hopefully enjoyable. Let me know about any improvements I should add. I'll be making the forum to RP on shortly.

    ANY OF THESE RULES OR FEATURES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE

    When you join the International Assembly of Nations, you should first notify Mouth Natin which nation/place you want to be to gain a place on the map. Here are a few extremely important rules to follow in the RP:

    1 ) All RP posts must be at a MINIMUM of 5 lines, all with (somewhat) proper grammar and detail. The only exception is dialogue between people.

    2 ) No Godmodding/Metagaming. This includes obtaining advanced weapons without first RP'ing it. This includes using spies in other people's nations without first RP'ing their entrance, taking over entire countries in one RP post, using any type of WMD, attacking a player and not allowing them the chance to respond, etc.

    3 ) No Spamming on the RMB board for any reason.

    4 ) Most Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMB's) are banned due to their OP status. However, nations can construct and have nuclear warheads and nuclear power plants. Special events which might include a nuclear war or nuclear apocalypse would obviously void this rule.

    Larger and more advanced nations will gain a larger advantage to industry, economy, technology, and military.

    INDUSTRY:
    - Industry will be based on which nation someone chooses and is on a scale of 1 to 4 (1 being the worst, 4 being the best)
  • 1 - Small, Underdeveloped Nations (Ex. Nicaragua, Panama, etc.): These nations have a small amount of factories and industries and have little raw materials to create and develop more industry.

  • 2 - Large, Underdeveloped Nations (Ex. Brazil, South Africa, etc.): These nations have a small amount of factories and industries but a large amount of raw materials to create and develop more industry.

  • 3 - Small, Developed Nations (Ex. Germany, Netherlands, etc.): These nations have large and advanced industries and factories however have a small amount of raw materials to develop more industry.

  • 4 - Large, Developed Nations (Ex. United States, Canada, etc.): These nations have a large amount of advanced industries and factories and have a large amount of raw materials to further cultivate their industry. These nations hold the top of the world's industry base and can't improve much further.

    - To improve your nation's industry score, you will have to RP the development of your industry in great and specific detai. You must also RP what exactly the nation is doing in order to recover. This includes detailing the amount of money put in by the Government, private businesses opening factories, and other factors. Be realistic when repairing and developing your industry. Don't just do one post and move to the next industrial level. Be thoughtful and put work into your posts. When you believe you are ready for the next level, let Mouth Natin know.

  • ECONOMY:
    - A nation's economy is fundamental to that countries ability to develop Industry, Technology, and the Military. The economy is based on a scale of 1-4.
  • 1 - Small, underdeveloped nations will have a lower Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and lower Economic Output. As a result, these nations will suffer from a decrease in foreign investment and will have a decreased amount of money in circulation.

  • 2 - Large, undeveloped nations will have a lower GDP and an average Economic Output. As a result, these nations will have a decrease in foreign investment but have a moderate amount of money in circulation.

  • 3 - Small, developed nations have a larger GDP and an average Economic output. As a result these nations have a large amount of foreign investment and have a moderate amount of money in circulation.

  • 4 - Large, developed nations have both a large GDP and a large Economic Output. As a result these nations have a large amount of foreign investment and money in circulation.

    - To improve your nation's economy score, you will have to RP the development of your economy in great and specific detai. You must also RP what exactly the nation is doing in order to recover. This includes detailing Government spending, private businesses being created, and other factors. Be realistic when repairing and developing your economy.   • TECHNOLOGY:
    - A nation's technology determines what types of weapons and scientific research are available and also determines how efficient your industries are. It is based onto a scale of 1 to 6.
  • 1 - Ancient Technology: In this category, nations are completely restricted to weaponry and medicine from ancient times. This includes swords, spears, bows, crossbows, etc. This also includes purely herbal medical treatment and no luxuries of the modern world. These nations are unable to develop any scientific research. As a result these nations are highly vulnerable to attack and are extremely weak in nature. You may choose this if you want as any nation, no nation is forced into this category.

  • 2 - Pre 1900 Technology: In this category, nations are restricted to weapons and medicine before the year 1900. This includes advanced rifles, pre-1900 machine guns, swords, etc. Medicine is also highly restricted, but does include some treatments beyond herbs. These nations are limited to medical and mathematical research. These nations are also highly vulnerable and are weak in nature. This is also a category just for fun, it is not required nor forced.

  • 3 - Pre 1950 Technology: In this category, nations are restricted to medicine and weapons developed before the year 1950. This includes any and all weapons used in World War II (With the exception of the Atomic Bomb) as well as any and all medicine used in World War II. This includes planes, tanks, etc. These nations are limited to medical, mathematical, and space research. These nations are also vulnerable and weak. This category is also just for fun.

  • 4 - Pre 2000 Technology: In this category, nations are restricted to development before 2000 that include Cold War weapons and vehicles as well as antibiotics, etc. These nations can participate in most scientific research excluding DNA, Stem Cell, etc. Most small, underdeveloped nations are in this category.

  • 5 - Completely Modern Technology: In this category, nations have all the advancements and developments up to the present date, including modern weapons, tanks, missiles, medical treatment, etc. These nations can participate in any type of scientific research. These nations aren't vulnerable and usually can defend themselves from attack. Most nations, developed as well as some underdeveloped, are in this category. You cannot move beyond this category unless a special future event is going to happen in the RP.

  • 6 - Future Technology: In this category, nations have futuristic technology that includes cures for most diseases including cancer, as well as advanced weapons including laser guns and laser systems, as well as fusion power and photon bombs. These nations participate in advanced scientific research that includes cloning, etc. These nations are invulnerable to most attacks. This category is ONLY for special future events in RP.

    - Since most of the globe is interconnected and ideas flow freely, advancing technology is much easier than advancing other categories. Make sure to still post great and specific details about advancing your technology. You do not need a mods approval to move on in this level. Modern technology is the limit for any nation in the current RP.

  • MILITARY:
    - A nation's military is the sole basis on how a nation is able to defend itself and/or influence events on a global scale. This also determines wether a nation is a super-power or weak. The military heavily relies on a nation's industry and economy.
    - Only 2.5% of your population can be in the military, which includes active and reserves.
    - Another 3% of your population can be paramilitary, which includes active and reserves.
    - Paramilitaries are required to use Cold War technology.
    - The military cap is 5.5 million people while the paramilitary cap is 6.5 million people.
