All nations should read and comply with the LKE RMB: Regional Community Standards, in particular the rule prohibiting "Malicious, obscene, offensive, prejudiced or profane content of any kind". Two nations which have seriously breached these standards have been ejected and banned.
Introduction
The Regional Message Board (RMB) should be a welcoming and civil area for the nations of the LKE to interact and engage freely in community discussions. Content on the RMB must be respectful towards other nations and adhere to regional expectations. Any content which may cause offence or bring the region into disrepute is not permitted. To that end, the Regional Community Standards outlined in this dispatch are enforced by regional administration.
The Regional Community Standards are separate from 
the rules of the NationStates site, which are enforced by the site moderators and not regional administration. However, the existence of the Regional Community Standards does not lessen the overriding need for all nations to comply with NationStates rules at all times. The region expects and requires all LKE nations to comply with NationStates rules and any directives from site moderators when posting on our RMB.
Posts by LKE nations on the RMBs of embassy regions, using privileges given to nations resident in the LKE, must comply with both the guidelines of the embassy region and the LKE Regional Community Standards. Failing to follow the policies of embassy regions when posting on their RMBs will be dealt with severely.
Prohibited Actions and Content
All of the following is strictly prohibited under the Regional Community Standards:
Disrespectful or insulting comments towards other players;
Spam posts;
Text art;
Posts in all caps;
Contributions posted materially in a language other than English;
Roleplay on the RMB - for organised nation roleplay, we instead recommend more suitable locations (such as the LKE Imperial Forums or the relevant section of the NationStates forum). Announcements from your nation can be recorded via dispatches. The RMB is a shared foyer area for the region as a whole and not suitable for continuous roleplay among a small number of nations;
Advertising for other regions or other online communities;
Use of features that identify the region such as the LKE's name or flag without prior authorisation;
Impersonating other NationStates players or creating nations with names which are similar to names of other NationStates players' nations;
Disclosing personal real-life information of other players or yourself;
Presence in a far-right region, or subscription to or support for or attempts to represent or use of the symbols of or sympathy for far-right ideologies or regions, or holding or expressing far-right views - all individuals who engage in any of these behaviours shall be banned from the LKE;
Sedition against the Imperial Crown;
Comments which give aid or comfort to the enemies of the LKE;
Any other form of treasonous conduct;
Discouraging actions promoted by the Imperial Government;
Locating additional puppet nations (i.e. nations other than your main LKE regional nation or other permitted specific nations) in the LKE capital region;
Internal debate and discussion regarding contentious questions of regional policy, which should take place on the Imperial Forums instead;
Any conduct which could bring the region into disrepute;
Any conduct or pattern of conduct which regional administration judges to be detrimental, or at risk of causing detriment, to the region or the community;
Comments criticising or otherwise excessively discussing directives or enforcement action by regional administration, e.g. it is not permitted to start a discussion after a nation has been banned about why they have been banned;
Quoting or excessively engaging with posts which are in breach of the rules - including prior to suppression of said posts where problems should be apparent;
Posts which fail to comply with warnings or instructions given by Regional Officers.
If you are ever in any doubt over whether or not an RMB post breaches these guidelines, please do not make the post. Err on the side of caution.
Sanctions
Posts in breach of the Regional Community Standards will be suppressed where identified. Where a nation's post is suppressed, this constitutes formal reprimand from regional administration for making a post in violation of the Regional Community Standards.
Nations which repeatedly and/or seriously breach the Regional Community Standards may be ejected and banned according to the judgement of regional administration. No warning is required in advance and there is no appeal against any such decisions. Please note that decisions to eject and ban an individual may sometimes be taken based on an assessment of the totality of their conduct and/or potential future behaviour, not just in response to specific breaches. There is no standard of proof (e.g. "reasonable doubt") which must be satisfied before action is taken - such decisions are up to regional administration's judgement.
Please note that - when suppressing posts or ejecting and banning nations - we may or may not give reasons. In some cases, we are not able to disclose details because it would be improper or unwise to do so. We are not under any obligation to justify decisions to suppress a post or eject and ban a nation. In the case of bans, please do not ask for reasons why enforcement action has been taken if reasons are not already given.
These rules and sanctions apply equally to nations with and without membership of the Electoral College on the Imperial Forums.
It is our hope and expectation that all nations will comply with the Regional Community Standards and sanctions need only be used sparingly. We are grateful to all nations in the region for doing their duty and upholding the Regional Community Standards.
